With the rapid development of urbanization, coastal cities of China have made significant achievements in economic development. However, the eco-environment of these cities has been under tremendous pressure due to the interference of human activities. Therefore, it is of great significance to find the interrelationship between urbanization and regional development. As an environmental-friendly and social-inclusive way of economic growth, the level of green development (GD) represents the comprehensive status of regional economic, social, and ecological development. As few researchers have studied the relationship between urbanization and GD, especially in the coastal areas, this paper detailed an empirical investigation into the spatio-temporal variations of the coupling and coordination relationship between urbanization and GD in the coastal cities of China. The results showed that: (1) the coupling and coordination relationship is constantly improving, especially in big cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, all of which have entered into coordination development stage; (2) small prefecture-level cities, mostly agglomerated in the northeast and southwest of China, most of which lagged in urbanization, are still in the maladjusted coordination stage; (3) the contribution to the coordination relationship between urbanization and GD mainly comes from the industrial structure optimization and urbanization. However, at present the eco-environmental protection is not enough to support the coordination development between the two systems. Based on the findings of this paper, a series of policy implications for improving the coordination development between urbanization and GD is proposed.

Our country has a large population and limited land and is being in a rapid development stage of industrialization and urbanization of the unique national circumstances.there is an urgent requirement to carry out research which maximize the utilization of urban land and optimize the industrial structure. The industrial structure development characteristic, the insufficiency and the land utilization problem exists in Qingdao have been researched, from relative land productivity, Floor area ratio, rate of area per GDP and so on various aspects have analyzed the relationship between industrial structure transformation and optimal allocation of land, finally put forward some countermeasures and suggestions in the process of implement about the industrial structure optimization and the land utilization maximization .

After the reform and opening up, Jilin Province, as an old industrial base, had economic development and uncoordinated implementation of the industrial structure. After the “Northeast Revitalization” strategy, the effect of economic transformation was not obvious. The results showed that: (1) The economic structure transformation level of Jilin Province during the study period can be divided into 4 stages: low-level growth stage, slow decline stage, rapid development stage and slow development stage; (2) the main factors affecting the economic structural transformation of Jilin The factors are the scale of openness, the increase or decrease in the development of the secondary industry, and the third level. It is expected to provide theoretical foundation and data support for the transformation of Jilin Province’s industrial structure, and promote the accelerated transformation and sustainable development of Jilin Province’s economy.

This paper aimed to accurately assess the driving effect of digital inclusive finance (DIF) on green economic growth, better implement DIF-related policies, and promote the development of green economy. Based on the urban panel data from 2011 to 2018 and the DIF index, this paper investigates the impact of DIF on economic green development and its internal mechanism. The results show that there is a significant positive U-shaped nonlinear relationship between DIF and green development. Through the robustness test of the threshold model, instrumental variable model (IV), and system generalized method of moments (SYS-GMM) model, the results are still valid. The mechanism research shows that the DIF can indirectly promote China’s green development by the coagglomeration degree of producer services and optimize and upgrade industrial structure. This study provides policy implications for developing countries around the world to achieve green development by promoting the DIF level.
