The existence of solutions of nonlocal fractional symmetric Hahn integrodifference boundary value problem is studied. We propose a problem of five fractional symmetric Hahn difference operators and three fractional symmetric Hahn integrals of different orders. We first convert our nonlinear problem into a fixed point problem by considering a linear variant of the problem. When the fixed point operator is available, Banach and Schauder’s fixed point theorems are used to prove the existence results of our problem. Some properties of (q,ω)-integral are also presented in this paper as a tool for our calculations. Finally, an example is also constructed to illustrate the main results.

Abstract We study a boundary value problem associated to a fractional differential inclusion with “maxima”. Several existence results are obtained by using suitable fixed point theorems when the right hand side has convex or non convex values.

We consider a high-order three-point boundary value problem. Firstly, some new existence results of at least one positive solution for a noneigenvalue problem and an eigenvalue problem are established. Our approach is based on the application of three different fixed point theorems, which have extended and improved the famous Guo-Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorem at different aspects. Secondly, some examples are included to illustrate our results.

In this work, we explore the existence results for the hybrid Caputo–Hadamard fractional boundary value problem (CH-FBVP). The inclusion version of the proposed BVP with a three-point hybrid Caputo–Hadamard terminal conditions is also considered and the related existence results are provided. To achieve these goals, we utilize the well-known fixed point theorems attributed to Dhage for both BVPs. Moreover, we present two numerical examples to validate our analytical findings.

<p>In this paper, we study a boundary value problem consisting of Hahn integro-difference equation supplemented with four-point fractional Hahn integral boundary conditions. The novelty of this problem lies in the fact that it contains two fractional Hahn difference operators and three fractional Hahn integrals with different quantum numbers and orders. Firstly, we convert the given nonlinear problem into a fixed point problem, by considering a linear variant of the problem at hand. Once the fixed point operator is available, we make use the classical Banach's and Schauder's fixed point theorems to establish existence and uniqueness results. An example is also constructed to illustrate the main results. Several properties of fractional Hahn integral that will be used in our study are also discussed.</p>

AbstractIn this article, we first demonstrate a fixed point result under certain contraction in the setting of controlled b-Branciari metric type spaces. Thereafter, we specifically consider a following boundary value problem (BVP) for a singular fractional differential equation of order α: $$ \begin{aligned} &{}^{c}D^{\alpha }v(t) + h \bigl(t,v(t) \bigr) = 0,\quad 0< t< 1, \\ &v''(0) = v'''(0) = 0, \\ &v'(0) = v(1) = \beta \int _{0}^{1} v(s) \,ds, \end{aligned} $$ D α c v ( t ) + h ( t , v ( t ) ) = 0 , 0 < t < 1 , v ″ ( 0 ) = v ‴ ( 0 ) = 0 , v ′ ( 0 ) = v ( 1 ) = β ∫ 0 1 v ( s ) d s , where $3<\alpha <4$ 3 < α < 4 , $0<\beta <2$ 0 < β < 2 , ${}^{c}D^{\alpha }$ D α c is the Caputo fractional derivative and h may be singular at $v = 0$ v = 0 . Eventually, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the aforementioned boundary value problem of order α via a fixed point problem of an integral operator.

In this paper, we are concerned with the existence of solutions for a class of nonlinear fractional functional differential equations with boundary value conditions. Some existence results of solutions are obtained. Our analysis relies on some fixed point theorems. Finally, some examples are presented to illustrate the main results.

The purpose of this paper is to prove fixed point theorems for cyclic-type operators in extended b-metric spaces. The well-posedness of the fixed point problem and limit shadowing property are also discussed. Some examples are given in order to support our results, and the last part of the paper considers some applications of the main results. The first part of this section is devoted to the study of the existence of a solution to the boundary value problem. In the second part of this section, we study the existence of solutions to fractional boundary value problems with integral-type boundary conditions in the frame of some Caputo-type fractional operators.

AbstractThe aim of this paper is to introduce a new class of mixed contractions which allow to revise and generalize some results obtained in [6] by R. Gubran, W. M. Alfaqih and M. Imdad. We also provide an example corresponding to this class of mappings and show how the new fixed point result relates to the above-mentioned result in [6]. Further, we present an application to the solvability of a two-point boundary value problem for second order differential equations.

We unify the concepts ofG-metric, metric-like, andb-metric to define new notion of generalizedb-metric-like space and discuss its topological and structural properties. In addition, certain fixed point theorems for two classes ofG-α-admissible contractive mappings in such spaces are obtained and some new fixed point results are derived in corresponding partially ordered space. Moreover, some examples and an application to the existence of a solution for the first-order periodic boundary value problem are provided here to illustrate the usability of the obtained results.
