In the present research work, an automatic control technique based on fuzzy logic is shown to regulate the temperature conditions in a tropical aquarium with a capacity of 100 liters. To analyze the effectiveness of the technique, the design and implementation of a fuzzy logic controller type Mamdani was carried out. Subsequently, the diffuse controller was integrated into an electrical system using a 100-watt resistor. The regulation is carried out from the acquisition of the water temperature, thus varying the current of the resistance, a temperature sensor, and a heater as actuators were used. The functionality of the system is verified through the Artix-7 FPGA platform, using the VHDL hardware description language. The controller design was developed using the fuzzy logic tool in Matlab in order to compare experimental results of the FPGA, obtaining an error of 2.94% accuracy between both designs.

Encryption is the core of security technology. The paper managed to design and implement a kind of reconfigurable cipher unit based on the 3DES/AES and optimized by FPGA technology, which can effectively support diverse cryptographic algorithms and can meet the demand on system performance and flexibility. The unit uses hardware description language VHDL, layout and wire on QuartusII8.0. Finally the system is downloaded to DE2 for testing. The design hardware structure is simple, flexibility, security, which can be widely used in the field of information security.


This research work concentrates on developing a non linear control technique using PID control, Fuzzy Logic controller and SMC (Sliding Mode Controller) for acidic control of a chemical plant. This control involves (Variable Structure Control) VSC control. The acidic control process includes a prototype model. This model has two inlets to the sample liquid. The two inlets supply acid and alkaline liquids into a Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor [CSTR]. Both the inflows are controlled in proper proportions, which help to maintain the desired pH of the system. The pH neutralization process is a non linear process; hence VSC serves as a better solution. One type of VSC is the Sliding Mode Control which is applied to this system. Apart from this VSC, both PID control and fuzzy control are incorporated on the same process and the results are furnished. SMC suffers a problem called chattering, but provides reliable results when compared to PID and Fuzzy Logic Controller. This research is done using LabVIEW Software, Hence all the control methods are implemented using the same. Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Workbench is abbreviated as LabVIEW. The programming done with this software is applied to the prototype system and the results of the controllers are compared and it is found that SMC controller is better suited than PID and fuzzy controllers.

The system is based on DES/3DES, AES cipher algorithm as the research object.According to the characteristics of the algorithm, designs a configuration mode which can share resource in space and configurate algorithm in time. Then it uses hardware description language Verilog HDL to realize and optimize the design, and completes a custom reconfigurable DES/3DES/AES encryption/decryption IP core. By SOPC technology, the IP core, Nios II processor, network controller and other function. The design hardware structureis simple, flexibility, security, which can be widely used in the field of informationsecurity.
