Objective - Aggressive competition and globalization are characterized by the emergence of many new companies and technological advances. Many companies began to rearrange the strategy of competition in anticipation of free trade with a review of the objectives of strategic companies based on the needs of the international market, a comparison with companies that have the best performance in the world, as well as evaluating intense the internal competency of the company own. The key to winning this competition is through innovation. The goal of this paper is to analyze the factors that influence in the performance management system. Methodology/Technique - Method in this research are performed by distributing questionnaires and respondents were given the opportunity to provide input to the company which then will researchers to convey to family companies that made the object of research. Findings – Results show that there is correlation between the company's strategy, cross-functionality, market intelligence, employee motivation and company performance. There is correlation company's strategy and company performance, cross-functionally and company performance, market intelligence and company performance, the motivation of employees and company performance Novelty - The study tries to test performance management of company. Orientation:Performance Management issues like implementation of PM and its effectiveness on the system of Bank Alfalah is discussed through this exploratory study. And also researchers have suggested the solutions to remove the hurdles faced by banking sector in Pakistan for implementation of ideal Performance management.Abstract:The basic purpose of this study is to provide edge to organization by providing practical solutions and recommendations so that firms can choose the best option. And in this way they can improve their evaluation system. This research is done to highlight the importance of performance management and also to study scope and effectiveness of performance management system in Alfalah Bank.Methodology:Qualitative research methodology has been used by researcher. Through this qualitative technique data is collected and analyzed. To identify the PM issues structured interviews were conducted from the employees related with different departments of Alfalah Bank. Findings:The research findings have shown that the employees of Alfalah bank have facing the problem of dissatisfaction from their current performance management and also the current performance management system of Alfalah bank lacks motivation and proper reward system. So for resolution of these issues researcher has recommended direction and guidelines to improve the performance management system.Practical implications:This research can be used by HR managers for identification and resolution of issues related to evaluation of employees. The current study can be used for further research and also become the basis to provide literature review for future research.Significance:Through this study reader can critically analyze the improvement in performance management Practices. This study shows the practical implications of recommended practices in actual business situations. This study has explored the issues (weaknesses) related with performance management in banking sector. Also the recommendation and suggestions are provided. On the basis of this study other organizations will also get the direction and guidelines to improve the performance management.

One of the challenges facing government departments is the high loss of scarce-skilled employees. When examining departmental processes and procedures, observations were that the organization concerned was experiencing a leadership transition crisis in the absence of the implementation of succession planning. In order to ameliorate this challenge, it is prudent that research into factors and perception of employees on succession planning be conducted to assist with planning of retaining scarce skills and training of employees. A corresponding research study was performed to determine factors related to succession planning, the perceptions of employees and the way different demographic categories perceived succession planning. The response rate of a questionnaire was 34.72%. The items that loaded high were investigated for common themes and four factors emerged after factor analysis, namely organizational support programs, supervisor support, attraction of talent and a performance management system. The findings also indicated that there was a significant difference between groups in the organizational support program in terms of years of service and supervisor support among employees varying in position at the 5% level of significance. The most important implications for managers resulting from this study are that management development by way of succession planning contributes to employee satisfaction and improves the overall outcomes of the organization. Therefore, it can be recommended that there should be personal involvement by top and senior management in terms of personal accountability and responsibility for growing leaders and linking factors related to succession planning to organizational strategy and human resources strategy. The number of startups in Indonesia has surpassed 2,000 companies, but only a handful have survived and thrived in the VUCA world. One of the failure causes is the lack of good business management in translating the company’s vision and strategy into clear and measurable objectives. For a project-based renewable energy startup, as the current study’s focus, it is necessary to focus not only on generating revenue but also on achieving the company’s vision and mission to sustain. To address this, we formulated an integrated framework related to the Performance Management System of the renewable energy startup. We combined the Balanced Scorecard as a tool for communicating the company’s strategies, Key Performance Indicators as a corporate performance tracking tool, and Objectives and Key Results for a daily basis or short-term goal-setting tool. It is also complemented by the idea of Ethical Climate to embed ethics into the system. Finally, quantifiable company performance measures will be obtained to assist the startup in the decision-making process related to appropriate strategies for corporate sustainability.

PT. X merupakan perusahaan yang memiliki bisnis pada bidang kuliner. Sejak didirikan hingga saat ini, PT. X belum pernah mencapai target secara sempurna. Pimpinan PT. X merasa hal tersebut disebabkan karena faktor internal dan faktor eksternal perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, yaitu penerapan performance management system berbasis balanced scorecard, karena dapat mendukung peningkatan kinerja perusahaan melalui pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi internal dan eksternal perusahaan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan intervensi berupa rancangan performance management system berbasis balanced scorecard yang paling sesuai dengan PT. X untuk meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan melalui pengelolaan sumber daya manusia. Metode penelitian ini adalah research & development. Hasil rancangan intervensi yang telah dirumuskan berupa performance management system pada tahap prerequisites (rumusan harapan pimpinan dan skema arahan strategi, balanced scorecard (objective).Hasil evaluasi terhadap rancangan intervensi, yaitu secara keseluruhan para rater menilai rancangan intervensi yang dirumuskan telah tepat dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi, namun pada beberapa hal kurang aplikatif jika saat ini langsung diterapkan di perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rancangan intervensi yang telah dirumuskan ini dapat diterima oleh pihak ahli dan user, meskipun terdapat beberapa catatan yang membangun untuk menyempurnakan rancangan intervensi yang telah dirumuskan. Saran yang dapat diberikan berdasarkan penelitian ini, yaitu penelitian selanjutnya harus tetap mengacu pada konsep performance management system tahap prerequisites yang telah dirumuskan, agar pengembangan tetap terintegrasi dengan arah, tujuan, dan strategi perusahaan, serta PT. X juga perlu melakukan pilot test untuk menguji keefektifan rancangan intervensi yang telah dirumuskan.
