The increasingly fierce business competition is currently demanding business players to optimize their products to get the maximum profit, one of which is UD.Gading Mas, which is one of the Small and Medium Industries (IKM) which manages the typical coffee of Pasuruan Regency which has been producing to develop the potential of local resources area. In developing the potential of local resources, the company experienced problems in determining the amount of production, so the company experienced excess products. With the integration of the Linear Program and Dynamic Program approach, it is expected that the company can determine production well, so that neither excess or lack of product. From the results of this study indicate that the planning using a dynamic program is more profitable. With the optimum production level of 1,138 packs with an income of Rp. 22,760,000.

Optimizing the production can be obtained by regulating the use of limited company resources. The purpose of this study is to know the optimization of corporate resources to generate maximum profit. The case study was conducted on Terry Kripik Small Business in Nyanglan Kaja Village, Tembuku Subdistrict, Bangli District. Based on the results of linear programming analysis with the help of POM-QM software, optimum production is 9 sacks of Ladrang Chips, 71 sacks of Chicken Chips, 46 sacks of Spinach Chips and 74 sacks of Limo Stick Leaf Chips. BEP value is Rp 30.708.228,00 or equal to 72 sacks. The projection of net profit if production is on demand is Rp 8,293,323.00 while net profit if produced according to the optimal product combination is Rp 11,718,143.00. Companies are encouraged to combine linear programming analysis, break even point, and cost analysis as input for management in making decisions related to optimization. Keywords: optimization of production, maximum profit, terry chips, and linear programming

In this paper we simultaneously address four constraints relevant to airline revenue management problem: flight cancellation, customer no-shows, overbooking, and refunding. We develop a linear program closely related to the dynamic program formulation of the problem, which we later use to approximate the optimal decision rule for rejecting or accepting customers. First, we give a novel proof that the optimal objective function of this linear program is always an upper bound for the dynamic program. Secondly, we construct a decision rule based on this linear program and prove that it is asymptotically optimal under certain circumstances. Finally, using Monte Carlo simulation, we demonstrate that, numerically, the result of the linear programming policy presented in this paper has a short distance to the upper bound of the optimal answer, which makes it a fairly good approximate answer to the intractable dynamic program.

Rendang is a traditional Minangkabau food. Rendang is generally made of meat, coconut milk and seasoning. Generally rendang semi-wet, but now it has been modified into a dry rendang. Dry rendang widely produced at Payakumbuh, West Sumatra Province. This research was conducted in July to August 2013 at Company " Rendang Erika " Payakumbuh. Research purposes is plotting the maximum profit and optimum production quantities with minimal use of resources. Processing data using the program LINDO (Linear Interactive Discrete Optimizer). The results of the study on the optimum conditions obtained maximum profit of Rp 84,049,360,- per month. The use of herbs and spices and coconut milk have been optimum. Keywords : Optimization, Rendang, LindoAbstrakRendang merupakan makanan tradisional Minangkabau.

The transportation model is a variation of a linear program developed specifically to problems solve related to transportation and the distribution of products from various sources to various destinations. The goal of transportation problems is to allocate goods at the source that all needs are met at the destination of the demand location. The purpose of this study is to analyze the allocation of the delivery of processed catfish products in POKLAHSAR Kediri Regency from the processing location to the market destination with the minimum allocation of marketing costs. The data were obtained from the catfish product processing group in Kediri Regency. Data were analyzed using the transportation optimization method model. The results of the analysis show that all factory capacities can meet the demands of all markets. There is not a single market that is not fulfilled. Suggestions for the research that the maximum profit can be achieved is the allocation of factory 1 product shipments to Tulungagung 165 packs and Ponorogo 65 packs. Factory 2 sent 220 packs to Ponorogo, Surabaya 50 packs, Jakarta 130 packs. Factory 3 sent to Tulungagung 50 packs. Factory 4 sends 100 packs to Ponorogo with a total minimum cost of IDR 620,000.
