Perkembangan teknologi di abad ke-21 telah membuat perubahan yang sangat besar dalam peradaban manusia modern sekarang ini. Teknologi internet telah mengubah setiap kehidupan manusia menggunakan smart tekhnologi di dalam genggaman tangan. Dalam konteks pendidikan, khususnya strategi pembelajaran visualisasi ini menjadi dampak strategi pembelajaran terbarukan yang membantu dunia pendidikan berjalan dengan cepat, terukur dan mudah diakses kapan dan dimana saja. Penelitian terhadap dampak strategi pembelajaran lewat visualisasi dalam pendidikan agama Kristen di era Masyarakat (Society) 5.0 menunjukan bahwa tantangan penggunaan smart technology menjadi salah satu manfaat yang dihadapi baik pendidik dan peserta didik untuk berinovasi dalam melaksanakan pengajaran. Pertanyaan paling penting dalam pendidikan saat ini adalah bagaimana dampak menerapkan strategi pembelajaran lewat visualisasi yang efektif bagi peserta didik di era Masyarakat 5.0? Hasilnya adalah efektivitas strategi pembelajaran pendidikan agama Kristen lewat visualisasi dapat diukur dengan kemampuan metode dalam memungkinkan target peserta didik mencapai hasil belajar yang diinginkan instruksi.

BACKGROUND Wearable devices have been developed and implemented to improve data collection in remote health care and smart care. Wearable devices have the advantage of always being with individuals, enabling easy detection of their movements. In this study, we developed and implemented a smart-care system using smart clothing for persons with dementia and with hip fracture. We conducted a preliminary study to understand family caregivers’ and care receivers’ experiences of receiving a smart technology-assisted (STA) home-nursing care program. OBJECTIVE This paper reports the difficulties we encountered and strategies we developed during the feasibility phase of studies on the effectiveness of our STA home-nursing care program for persons with dementia and hip fracture. METHODS Our care model, a STA home-nursing care program for persons with dementia and those with hip fracture included a remote-monitoring system for elderly persons wearing smart clothing was used to facilitate family caregivers’ detection of elderly persons’ movements. These movements included getting up at night, staying in the bathroom for more than 30 minutes, not moving more than 2 hours during the day, leaving the house, and daily activities. Participants included 13 families with 5 patients with hip fracture and 7 with dementia. Research nurses documented the difficulties they encountered during the process. RESULTS Difficulties encountered in this smart-care study were categorized into problems setting up the smart-care environment, problems running the system, and problems with participant acceptance/adherence. These difficulties caused participants to drop out, the system to not function or delayed function, inability to collect data, extra costs of manpower, and financial burden. Strategies to deal with these problems are also reported. CONCLUSIONS During the implementation of smart care at home for persons with dementia or hip fracture, different aspects of difficulties were found and strategies were taken. The findings of this study can provide a reference for future implementation of similar smart-home devices.

This work discusses recent developments in sharing economy concepts and collaborative co-design technology platforms applied in districts and cities. These developments are being driven both by new technological advances and by increased environmental awareness. The paper begins by outlining the state of the art in smart technology platforms for collaborative urban design, highlighting a number of recent examples. The case of peer-to-peer trading platforms applied in the energy sector is then used to illustrate how sharing economy concepts and their enabling technologies can accelerate efforts towards more sustainable urban environments. It was found that smart technology platforms can encourage peer-to-peer and collaborative activity, and may have a profound influence on the future development of cities. Many of the research and development projects in this area to date have focused on demonstrations at the building, neighbourhood, and local community scales. Scaling these sharing economy platforms up to the city scale and beyond has the potential to provide a number of positive environment impacts. However, significant technical and regulatory barriers to wider implementation exist, and realising this potential will require radical new approaches to the ownership and governance of urban infrastructure. This paper provides a concise overview of the state of the art in this emerging field, with the aim of identifying the most promising areas for further research.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to provide useful implications for Korean export companies to adopt the smart technology to improve their performance in the era of industrial convergence with the interdisciplinary study between trade and technology management. Design/methodology/approach This study followed the five-stage procedure and methods. In the first stage, measurement items were developed in four performance factors: leaning and growth, internal process, customer and finance. In the second stage, data were collected by conducting two types of surveys: first, for Korean export companies that have adopted Radio frequency identification (RFID) to test the proposed model and analyze the performance and second, for RFID experts of industry-university R&D cooperation to measure the relative importance of factors and items. In the third stage, the model was verified with structural equation modeling. In the fourth stage, AHP was used to analyze the relative importance of factors and items. In the fifth stage, post-RFID adoption performance in Korean export companies was measured by a formula for the performance index. Through these five-stage procedure and methods, the final performance improvement strategies and practical implications are presented in the conclusion. Findings The framework finds that the total score of RFID post-adoption on company performance proved relatively low, which indicates that the effect of this technology on export companies’ performance is still unsatisfactory. And financial performance proved to be ‘top priority’ area, which requires the most urgent effort for improvement since its importance was higher than learning and growth, internal process and customer performance—but nonetheless its performance index was the lowest. This study finds that strategic decision making is required for adopting smart technology in the perspective of technology convergence to improve the performance of companies among heterogeneous industries. Research limitations/implications Despite the significant results of this study alone, it also has limitations. Therefore, the direction of the future study is as follows: future research should focus on finding specific impact factors enhancing post-adoption of smart technologies including RFID performance by conducting empirical studies that identify the factors affecting post adoption of smart technologies rate directly or indirectly. Originality/value In the current global market environment, not only technological convergence in the same kind of industry but also industrial convergence in the different kinds of industries are essential to manufacturing and service companies including to export companies with perspective of Innovation. This study has the value as an interdisciplinary study to actually measure the performance of a company by industrial convergence through the theme of adoption of smart technology in export companies.

AbstractFuturists predict that a third of jobs that exist today could be taken by Smart Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Algorithms (STARA) by 2025. However, very little is known about how employees perceive these technological advancements in regards to their own jobs and careers, and how they are preparing for these potential changes. A new measure (STARA awareness) was created for this study that captures the extent to which employees feel their job could be replaced by these types of technology. Due to career progression and technology knowledge associated with age, we also tested age as a moderator of STARA. Using a mixed-methods approach on 120 employees, we tested STARA awareness on a range of job and well-being outcomes. Greater STARA awareness was negatively related to organisational commitment and career satisfaction, and positively related to turnover intentions, cynicism, and depression.
