       Cayenne pepper or chilli is a fruit vegetable crops needed by the whole society as a flavoring food and medicine. In general, chilli plants can be grown in all types of soil and grow best when growing conditions are met, but the best is in the lowland soil containing sand with good porosity. This study aimed to know (i) the growth and yield response of cayenne pepper extending of multiple doses of the chicken manure fertilizer (ii) the best doses of chicken manure fertilizer on the growth and yield chili in red yellow podzolic soil. The experiment was conducted in the Timbun Tulang Village Batu Mandi District Balangan Regency from June - September 2010, using a randomized block design (RBD) a single factor, with repeated 4 times and the combination of experimental units 7 pieces, so for the entire experiment were 28 experimental plots. The results showed that treatment doses of chicken manure droppings significant effect on plant height age 14 day after planting (DAP), significant effect on plant height ages 21 and 28 DAP, age of the plant starts to flower and plant fresh weight chili. The best treatment for high-growth plant ages 14, 21 and 28 DAP, age starts to flower and fruit fresh weight chili crop is treated k5 (1.4 kg chicken manure fertilizer / planting hole).

<p><em>Cauliflower is one of the vegetables for consumers. The demand for cauliflower was rising so it must be scaled up with fertilizer. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of chicken manure and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of cauliflower. The study was conducted in Sukasenang Village, Banyuresmi Sub-district, Garut Regency from July to August 2019. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) in two factors each of the 3 rates with 2 replications. The first factor was the rates of chicken manure which consisted of 0, 10 and 20 tons ha<sup>-1</sup>; the second factor was NPK fertilizer which consists of 0, 100 and 200 kg ha<sup>-1</sup>. The parameter of this research was plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, weight and diameter crud. The results showed that there was no interaction between the chicken manure and NPK fertilizer. The treatment of 20 tons ha<sup>-1</sup> chicken manure affected the variable plant height, the number of leaves and leaf area. The rates of 200 kg ha<sup>-1</sup> NPK fertilizer had affected plant height, number of leaves, weight and diameter crud.</em></p>

This study aims to determine the effect of chicken manure and biourine on the growth of stem of ground water kangkung, so it is known that the best type of fertilizer used for growth and yield of kangkung plants after the first harvest. This experiment used a randomized block design (RBD) with a factorial experimental pattern consisting of two factors. The first factor is the dosage of biourine (B) consisting of 4 levels ie B0: control, B1: 200 L ha-1, B2: 400 L ha-1, and B3: 600 L ha-1. The second factor is dose of cow manure (K) consist of 2 levels ie K0: control and K1: 20 ton ha-1. The results concluded that there was no interaction between the treatment of chicken manure with biourin liquid fertilizer to all growth variables and the results observed in ground kangkung plants derived from stump except the variables of the harvest index. Treatment of chicken manure 20 tons ha-1 gave the highest economical fresh weight per plant that is 70.48 g and increased by 84.02% compared to the economical fresh weight per plant obtained in the treatment without chicken manure is 38.30 g, while the treatment dose of 400 L ha-1 biourine fertilizer gave the highest economical fresh weight per plant that is 55.66 g and increased by 7.63% compared to the economical fresh weight per plant obtained in the treatment without biourine fertilizer ie 51.71 g.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk  mengetahui  durasi perendaman bibit   dengan auxin alami dan dosis pupuk NPK yang tepat  pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L). Dalam budidaya bawang merah sering dijumpai pertumbuhan benih yang lambat disebabkan karena faktor dalam bibit (endogenous factor) yang merugikan karena akan berdampak pada serangan penyakit busuk umbi. Maka mempercepat munculnya tunas dengan perlakuan pemberian auxin dan pemberian pupuk NPK ini diharapkan akan diperoleh bibit yang segera tumbuh supaya dapat berproduksi dalam keadaan sehat. Pada penelitian ini akan dikaji bagaimana mempercepat pertumbuhan bibit bawang merah dengan perendaman cepat dalam auxin alami yang diinteraksikan dengan pemberian pupuk NPK. Penelitian disusun dalam  RAK  faktorial dengan 2 faktor sebanyak 3 x ulangan. Faktor 1 adalah perlakuan lama perendaman bibit bawang merah (D), yang terdiri dari D0 = tanpa perendaman , D1= perendaman 0,5 jam, D2 = perendaman 1 jam, D3= perendaman 1,5 jam, D4 = perendaman 2 jam. Sedangkan faktor kedua  adalah pemberian pupuk NPK, P1= 100 kg/ha, P2= 200 kg/ha, P3= 300 kg/ha.  Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah batang/rumpun, bobot segar bawang merah/rumpun, jumlah umbi bawang merah/rumpun. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Anova dan uji DMRT 5%.  Hasil Penelitian didapatkan  bahwa ada pengaruh interaksi nyata antara perlakuan D (lama perendaman) dan P (dosis pupuk NPK) pada variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah batang/rumpun, bobot segar bawang merah/rumpun dan jumlah umbi/rumpun.  Perlakuan terbaik adalah D4P3 yaitu perendaman bibit bawang merah selama 2 jam dengan pemupukan NPK anorganik 300 kg/ha.  ABSTRACTThe aims of the study was to  determine  the duration of bulb dipping with  natural auxin on the growth and yield of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L). In shallot cultivation, it is found that the slow growth of bulb is caused by the factors in the bulbs (endogenous factors) because it will impact on bulb rot disease. Then accelerating the emergence of shoots with the treatment of auxin and NPK fertilizer, it is hoped that the bulbs will grow well so that they will be harvested in a healthy condition. In this research, we will study how to accelerate the growth of shallot bulbs with rapid immersion in natural auxin which is interacted with NPK fertilizer. The research was  arranged  in a factorial randomized block design with 2 factors and repeated 3 times, where the first factor was the treatment was the length of dipping the shallot seeds. (D). consisting of D0 = without dipping, D1 = dipping 0.5 hours, D2 = dipping 1 hour, D3 = dipping 1.5 hours, D4 = dipping 2 hours. While the second factor is the provision of  . NPK . fertilizer, P1 = 100 kg / ha, P2 = 200 kg / ha, P3 = 300 kg.ha. The variables observed were plant   height, number of clumps / plant, fresh weight of shallots / plant, number of shallot bulbs / plant. Observation data  were  analyzed by ANOVA and 5% DMRT test. The results showed that there was a significant   interaction effect between D and P treatment on the variable plant height, number of clumps/plant, fresh weight of shallots / plants and number of tubers / plants. The best treatment is D4P3, which is soaking shallot seeds for 2 hours with 300 kg / ha of inorganic NPK fertilization.

Growing vegetable crops such as lettuce, on Ultisol soil has several obstacles, such as insufficient organic matter and nutrients in the soil. The provision of biochar and POC leri or organic fertilizer from rice washing liquid is expected to be a long-term and sustainable solution. This study was intended to test the addition of biochar to the growing media and the application of leri on lettuce cultivation. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) method. The first factor was the application of biochar to the planting medium (M), which consisted of M1: Ultisol without biochar and M2: Ultisol + 30 g biochar. The second factor was the administration of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) leri (P), with 5 treatments consisting of P0: without giving LOF leri, P1: giving LOF leri without fermentation once a week, P2: giving LOF leri without fermentation twice a week, P3: giving fermented LOF leri once a week, P4: giving fermented LOF leri twice a week. The results of this study were tested statistically by analysis of variance, with the F test; if there was a significant difference, it was continued with the BNJ test (Honest Significant Difference) at a 0.05 level. The results showed that the best treatment of LOF leri in increasing lettuce growth and yield was 25% fermented LOF leri given 2 times a week, at 250 mL per lettuce plant. As a single treatment the best growing media was M2 (Ultisol soil + 30 g of biochar) with a plant height of 25.80 cm and the leaf number of 12.83; whereas the best LOF leri treatment was P4 (fermented LOF leri given twice a week), with a plant height of 30.27 cm and leaf number of 14.42. Based on whole plant fresh weight, the best treatment was the M2P4 (Ultisol + biochar growing medium and fermented LOF leri given week), which was 185.99 g per plant. Keywords: household waste, lettuce, POC leri, rice washing liquid   ABSTRAK Melakukan budidaya tanaman sayuran, seperti selada, pada tanah Ultisol memiliki beberapa kendala, seperti kurangnya bahan organik dan unsur hara pada tanah tersebut. Pemberian biochar dan POC leri atau pupuk organik dari cairan cucian beras diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi yang bersifat jangka panjang dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguji penambahan biochar pada media tanam dan pemberian leri pada budidaya selada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah pemberian biochar pada media tanam (M), yang terdiri dari M1: Ultisol tanpa biochar dan M2: Ultisol + 30 g biochar. Faktor kedua adalah pemberian pupuk organic cair (POC) leri (P), dengan sebanyak 5 perlakuan yang terdiri dari adalah P0: tanpa pemberian POC leri, P1: pemberian POC leri tanpa fermentasi 1 kali seminggu, P2: pemberian POC leri tanpa fermentasi 2 kali seminggu, P3: pemberian POC leri fermentasi 1 kali seminggu, P4: pemberian POC leri fermentasi 2 kali seminggu. Hasil penelitian ini diuji secara statistik dengan analisis ragam, dengan uji F; bila terdapat perbedaan nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ (Beda Nyata Jujur) pada taraf 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan POC leri yang terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi selada adalah 25% POC leri fermentasi yang diberikan 2 kali seminggu, sebanyak 250 mL per tanaman selada. Secara tunggal perlakuan media tanam terbaik adalah M2 (tanah Ultisol+ 30 g biochar) dengan tinggi tanaman 25,80 cm dan jumlah daun 12, 83 helai; sedangkan perlakuan POC leri terbaik adalah P4 (POC leri fermentasi yang diberikan 2 kali seminggu), dengan tinggi tanaman 30,27 cm dan jumlah daun 14,42 helai. Berdasarkan berat basah tanaman, yang terbaik adalah pada perlakuan M2P4 (media tanam Ultisol + biochar dan POC leri fermentasi yang diberikan 2 kali seminggu), yaitu 185,99 g per tanaman. The research aims to determine the growth and production response of two varieties of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) to the provision of various sources of nitrogen. This research was conducted in Lambar village, Tigapanah sub-district, Karo regency, Sumatera Utara Province with altitude of ± 1200 meters above sea level, which started on July to September 2017. This research used a factorial randomized block design with 2 factors namely varieties of lettuce (crop and lettuce) and sources of nitrogen (urea fertilizer, chicken manure and Liquid organic fertilizer of rabbit urine). The parameters observed were plant height, greenish leaves, crop circle, fresh weight of plant per sample and fresh weight of plant per plot. The results showed that both varieties were significantly different in the parameters of plant height, greenish leaves, the number of leaves, and the fresh weight of the plant per sample. Application of nitrogen source showed differences in plant height at 10 weeks after move planting and fresh weight of plant per sample.

Shallot plant is often used as a flavor enhancer and appetite enhancer food. Research on shallotcrop has been done. Application of seaweedsgive a different effect on increasing the productivity and growth of shallots. This study aims to determine the effect of applying different types of seaweed on growth and yield of shallot variety Lembah Palu. This research was conducted at the Green House of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako from March to May 2016. The study conducted using a randomized block design (RBD).  The treatments: B0 = control, B1 = NPK 0.2 g / pot, B2 = (Cauelerpa sp) 100 ml/pot, B3 = (Sargassum sp) 100 ml/pot, B4 = (Eucheuma cottonii) 100 ml /pot, B5 = Sea lettuce (Ulva sp) 100 ml/pot. there are six treatments, each treatment was replicated four times, so there are 24 experimental units. The results indicatedthat the application of various types of seaweed significant effect on plant height, fresh weight of the plants, the fresh weight of tuber and diameter of the bulb.

A field experiment was conducted at the Horticulture Research Farm Department of Horticulture, J. V. College, Baraut, Bhagpat during the year 2011 with the cultiver “Arka Anamica” was done in Randomized Block Design (R.B.D) with three replication. The experiments consisted of 16 treatments viz. N1 (80:60:60) NPK (Kg.)/ha, N2 (60:40:40) NPK (Kg.)/ha, N3 (40:20:20) NPK (Kg.)/ha, B1 (Azotobacter) 7kg/ha, B2 (Phosphate Soluble Bacteria) 7kg /ha, B3 (Azotobacter + PSB) and B0 (Control). The Maximum results an different attributes viz. Plant Height (67.30 cm.), No. of leaves per plant (63.95), No. of green pod per branch (3.87), and Area of green pod (48.69 cm2), Days to 50 % germination (7.25) and Days to 50 % flowering (20.06) were recorded under the treatment B3, where as Azotobacter 7 kg/ha + Phosphate Soluble Bacteria 7 kg./ha. Compression to the treatment B1, where as Azotobacter 7 kg/ha and better results like, Number of branches per plant (4.58), leaf area (267.57 cm2), Number of green pod per plant (3.87), Fresh weight per green pod (8.11 gm.) and Green pod yield per plot (3382.56gm.) were recorded under the treatment B3 (Azotobacter 7kg/ha + PSB 7kg/ha), followed by N1 (80:60:60) NPK (Kg.)/ha and minimum results were found under the control.

Introduction: This research was conducted to determine the effect of several types of local microorganism solutions and manures on the growth and yield of peanut and their impact on the physical properties of ultisols. Materials and Methods: The researches was conducted in Simalingkar B, Medan using Factorial Randomized Block Design within three replications. The first factor was types of microbe sources of local microbial solutions, include un-treated waste (M0), pineapple (M1), orange (M2), and tamarillo (M3) wastes. The second factor was manure types, inluce un-treated manure (P0), chicken (P1), cow (P2), and goat (P3) manures. The parameters were: soil physical characteristics (bulk density, water content and total of pore space), plant height, stem diameter, number of pods, and dry seeds yield. Results: The types of local microorganism solutions only affect to plant height of peanut, but has insignificant effect on the physical properties of ultisols, and stem diameter, the number of filled pods.plant-1, and the dry seeds yield.ha-1 of peanut. The types of manure had significantly effected on plant height and number of filled pods.plant-1, but had insignificant effect on stem diameter, dry seeds yield.ha-1 and the physical properties of ultisols. The interaction of MOL sources and manure did not significantly affect the growth and yield of peanut as well as the physical properties of ultisols. Orange MOL and chicken manure could be increase the plant height of peanut by 18.61% and 6.75%, respectively, compared to un-treated. Goat manure showed the highest number of pods.plant-1 by 6.32% compared to un-treated.

Research on Application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Market Waste in Chinese Mustard Plants (Brasica juncea L.). The production of mustard greens in Ende Regency is still low compared to the production of mustard greens. This condition is caused by fertilization that has not been optimal. Efforts to increase mustard production through the application of technology, especially the use of fertilizers, including using liquid organic fertilizer Market waste that can provide nutrients for plants.This study aims to determine the application dose of liquid organic fertilizer from market waste and the response of growth and yield of mustard plants. The study was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Flores in Ende, using a Randomized Block Design consisting of five treatments using Liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from Market Waste namely L0 (without POC), L1 (10 liters of POC), L2 (20 liters POC), L3 (30 liters of POC), L4 (40 liters of POC), repeated four times. The results showed that the application of POC from market waste significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of mustard greens, fresh weight of mustard ha-1 and dose of 40 liters ha-1 showed the best growth, which was an average plant height of 24.68 cm, number of leaves 9.25 strands, fresh weight of mustard 147.40 g and production of mustard 23.58 tons ha-1

Research aims to test the effectiveness of various types of manure combined with various doses of application for the growth and result of shallot varieties of Palu Valley. This research was designed using factorial randomized block design. The first factor was manure with three types of treatment, namely chicken manure (P1), got manure (P2), cow manure (P3). The second factor was the dose of manure consisting of three types of treatment, namely 10 t ha­­-1 (3,6 kg plot-1) (D1), 20 t ha­­-1 (7,2 kg plot-1) (D2), 30 t ha­­-1 (10,8 kg plot-1) (D3). The results show that the combination of various types of treatment and doses of chicken manure interacts on plat height parameters aged 35 days after planting. The treatment of chicken manure with a dose of 30 t ha-1 gives better results. The single treatment of chicken manure gave better results for the plant height, weight of leaves, root dry weight, leaf dry weight , number of tubers per clump. Single treatment of manure dosage of 30 t ha-1 gave better results on plant height, leaf area , leaf fres weight, leaf dry weight tuber fresh weight per hectare.
