Graphene is a microstructure of graphite that has enormous properties and is also one of the carbon allotropes. There are several metals with low strength. The properties of these metals can be increased by coating the graphene. The primary goal of the work is to create composite graphene that exhibits the optimised properties and characteristics that meet the requirements of the industries. The properties of graphene when coated with other metals are studied and their applications in different industrial fields are analysed through several tests and experiments. Research-based on graphene coatings and composites is studied and the properties are adapted.

Epoxy asphalt has fundamentally changed the thermoplastic of asphalt and endowed the asphalt with excellent physical and mechanical properties. This paper analyses the developing technical requirement of thermosetting epoxy asphalt and points out its main problems during preparation and application process. Aiming at the steel deck paving characteristics, the author has independently developed epoxy asphalt binder and tested its performances, the results have showed that this binder can meet the basic requirement of various pavings, and its further research are in process.

In the recent years industrial applications of carbon allotropes such as carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene have been tested extensively, thus justifying research on the environmental impact these materials have. In the current paper we compare EDS spectroscopy results of a cabin filter used in a car to a filter used in an air purifier inside a residential space. The contaminants adsorbed on the carbon nanoparticles trapped in both types of filters allows for determining of their source of origin demonstrating clearly the dominant role of non-road emissions in Poland. Finally we present the experimental study on the growth of plants on substrates intentionally enriched with CNTs.
