As noted in the 2017 Horizon Report on Higher Education, it is no longer enough to simply graduate with a degree in a particular discipline; the Hart Research Associates Report also emphasizes the point that employers are requesting that colleges and universities place more emphasis on practical and real-world skills rather than focusing on competencies in broader disciplinary theories that may never be applied practically in the daily workplace setting. In this chapter, the authors look at two specific examples: preservice teacher training and the training of graduate students in epidemiology (STEM). The purpose of this qualitative analysis is to examine and compare the literature related to two primary concepts: (1) access to technology and digital literacy of minority college students and (2) minority serving institution (MSI) response to promoting digital literacy among faculty and students enrolled in clinically based programs.

With the improvement of the quality of national life, the physical health problem is gradually placed in the same important position as the basic problems such as education, people’s livelihood, and safety. Improving the physical quality of college students and promoting the healthy growth of students are major events in the future of the country and the nation. Therefore, each school will conduct a physical test every year. The use of wireless sensors for data acquisition has played an important role in various fields. Therefore, for the physical health management of college students, this paper proposes to design a sensor system to collect physical measurement data. The measured data is collected through the sensor, such as the XGZP6847 gas pressure sensor to collect students’ vital capacity. Then, the sensor node and the coordinator are connected to the PC through the serial port, respectively, and the CC2530 chip transmits the data to the coordinator through the ZigBee module, establishes communication with the PC through the 2.4G wireless communication module, adopts the strategy of the thread pool to save resources, improves the response speed, and obtains students’ body test data in real time. Taking the data acquisition and transmission of vital capacity and body weight subjects as an example, the system realizes the accurate transmission of the collected test data from the sensor to the terminal, greatly improves the accuracy and real-time body test data acquisition, and reduces the probability of errors in the recording process, and the collected data can be used directly or for secondary development, and it promotes the establishment of college students’ physical health management system.

The relation between college students' entrepreneurial intention and college entrepreneurial education has long been concerned. Entrepreneurial alertness is the psychological basis for entrepreneur to identify entrepreneurial opportunities. Entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial alertness are two key focuses in entrepreneurship research. It is of great significance to explore and investigate the role of entrepreneurial alertness in arousal process of entrepreneurial intention by entrepreneurial education. However, there are very few researches reported on the relation among entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial alertness and entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurial education was measured by theBenefits from EntrepreneurialEducation Programes(BEEP). By collecting data (N=672) from colleges and universities in Zhejiang and Fujian where entrepreneurship is relatively active in China, empirical study was carried out to investigate the relation among the three variables.. The results showed that:entrepreneurial alertness plays a significant mediating and regulating role between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intention. The cultivation of entrepreneurial alertness should be a key purpose of entrepreneurial education. Finally, this paper presents discussion on how to conduct targeted entrepreneurial education in order to guide college students' entrepreneurship more efficiently.

This paper explores the complexities involved in transferring psychological services to off-campus providers. The ethical and legal responsibilities of colleges and universities to provide services that encourage the development of the student may not be met by health care entrepreneurs who do not take into account differences between the needs of college students and those of members the larger society.
