Two new species of the palpimanid genus Diaphorocellus Simon, 1893, D. isalosp. nov. (♂♀), and D. jocqueisp. nov. (♂♀), are described from central and eastern parts of Madagascar, respectively. Along with D. rufus (Tullgren, 1910), these new species can be distinguished from other congeners by possessing a finely and densely spotted colouration of the abdomen. They differ from one another, as well from D. rufus, by the eye group configuration and by the structure of the male and female copulatory organs. Diagnoses and illustrations presenting the diagnostic characters of D. isalosp. nov. and D. jocqueisp. nov. are provided. The genus now includes six African species.

The species of Sesiidae reared from larvae feeding in the vines and tubers of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas) in Kenya are described as new and named Synanthedon leptosceles and S. dasysceles, respectively. Illustrations are given of the adults and male and female genitalia of both species. S. leptosceles is differentiated from the superficially similar East African species S. erythromma Hmps., which also is associated with sweet potato. Aegeria pyrostoma Meyr. is synonymised under S. erythromma following the examination of type material. S. dasysceles is noted to be readily distinguishable from these and other known species of Synanthedon by the rough scaling and white markings of the legs.

The genus Cryncus Gorochov, 1983 composed of African crickets is reported for the first time in Cameroon by the description of two new species collected at Zamakoe, Ongot and Engout’Adjap in the southern Cameroonian plateau during an inventory study of crickets carried out from March 2014 to September 2015. These new species are: Cryncus camerounensis Um Nyobe, Kekeunou & Bilong Bilong sp. nov. and Cryncus desutterae Um Nyobe, Kekeunou & Ma sp. nov. These descriptions bring the total number of species of this genus to 25. Cryncus camerounensis is distinguished by an irregularly shaped mirror, without a dividing vein, with a short apical field, while Cryncus desutterae is characterized by a divided oval mirror and a long apical field. Cryncus camerounensis was more abundant in the forest environment while Cryncus desutterae would exclusively colonize fallow land. This article is divided into two parts. The first part presents a description of the two new species, followed by a revised diagnosis of the genus Cryncus using both male and female characters and an identification key. The second part presents some bioecological data of these new species and a map of the geographical distribution of all known species of this genus.

The genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805 is reported from Pakistan for the first time. Two new species of the Pholcus nenjukovi species-group are described: Pholcus hamuchal Yao & Li sp. nov. (Gilgit Baltistan, male and female) and Pholcus kalam Yao & Li sp. nov. (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, male and female). Type material is deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZCAS) in Beijing, China.

Impatiens saulierea and I. josephia, two new species, are described from the Western Ghats, India. The former is collected from Kakkayam, Kozhikode and the latter from Idukki, Kerala. A detailed description of both taxa along with diagnostic characters between allied species, conservation status, pollen morphology and colour photographs are provided.

Description of two new species of Collaria Provancher from Madagascar (Hemiptera, Miridae, Mirinae, Stenodemini). Collaria elsae n. sp. and C. sabinae n. sp. are described from Madagascar. Habitus and genitalia are illustrated in both sexes for C. sabinae n. sp., and only for the female, only sex known, for C. elsae n. sp. These two species, black in color, are separated from African species with a black habitus, by a set of external characters and by the genitalia. Collaria bourbonica Matocq, 2019, described and known only from Reunion, is reported from Madagascar and Grande Comores. A key to the Afro-tropical species of Collaria is given.

Mangabea troglodytes sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Reduviidae: Emesinae) is described based on four specimens collected in a cave of the Namoroka Karstic System, Madagascar, and deposited in the Collection of the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris. The dorsal habitus as well as diagnostic characters of male and female genitalia are extensively illustrated and imaged. A key to species of the genus Mangabea Villiers, 1970 is provided and the degree of cave specialization of the new species is discussed.

Two New Species

Two new species, Prolixus nicholasi sp. nov. and Prolixus setifolius sp. nov., are described and illustrated from leaves of Gahnia setifolia (Cyperaceae) in Auckland, New Zealand. In this paper, we present the ontogenetic additions in idiosomal and the leg chaetotaxy from larva to adult. The adult male and female of P. setifolius have different leg setae, allowing all active life stages to be sexed. A key to world species of Prolixus is also proposed.

Two new species of Aegopsis Burmeister, 1847 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Agaocephalini), Aegopsis diceratops Sobral & Grossi new species and Aegopsis vazdemelloi Sobral & Grossi new species, are described and illustrated based on specimens collected in Cerrado habitat in the Brazilian states of Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso. The new species are similar to A. bolboceridus (Thomson, 1860). A redescription of A. bolboceridus is provided along with remarks comparing characters among these three species. A distribution map and a male and female key to the species in the genus are provided.

Two New Species

This publication reviews the Labidostomis species from Southeastern Europe similar to L. longimana. Two new species, L. daccordii sp. nov. (Central Greece) and L. leonardii (Greece: Kos Island, Turkey), are described. The type specimens of L. balcanica Tomov, 1987 (Croatia), L. graeca Tomov, 1990 and L. tymphristica Tomov, 1990 (both from Greece) were studied, all three species are confirmed as valid and their diagnostic characters are described. The aedeagus sclerites are introduced as useful character to separate Labidostomis species.
