A new species of the genus Neopseustis Meyrick, 1909, Neopseustis chentangensis S.Y. Huang & Chen sp. nov., which was confirmed by both morphological and molecular methods, is described from Xizang, China. This is currently the westernmost species in Asia of the primitive lepidopteran family Neopseustidae. The new species is externally reminiscent of N. moxiensis Chen & Owada, 2009; however, it can be easily distinguished from the latter by comparison of the male genitalia and is further distinguished by the large genetic distance in DNA barcodes (COI). The adult and genitalia of the new and similar species have been illustrated. Utilizing our new data, a new classification of the genus is provided, with its members subdivided into four species groups: the meyricki-group, the moxiensis-group, the bicornuta-group, and the chentangensis-group, which are supported by both molecular and morphological evidence. A checklist of the genus and a key to the species groups are also provided.

The discovery of a new species of satyrine butterfly, Magneuptychia louisammour Benmesbah & Zacca, sp. n., that is phenotypically similar to a sympatric species widely known as Magneuptychia ocypete (Fabricius, 1776), led to a review of the taxonomic status of M. ocypete. A neotype for Papilio ocypete Fabricius, 1776 is designated and its redescription is provided. Neonympha sabina C. Felder & R. Felder, 1867 and Euptychia helle var. olivacea Aurivillius, 1929 are treated as junior subjective synonyms of P. ocypete and a lectotype is designated for each name. A neotype for the preoccupied name Papilio helle Cramer, 1779, and its replacement name Magneuptychia fugitiva Lamas, [1997], is also designated, and a redescription of this name and discussion of its taxonomic status are provided. We describe an additional phenotypically similar species, Magneuptychia kamel Benmesbah & Zacca, sp. n. from the western Amazon and raise the name Magneuptychia opima sheba Brévignon & Benmesbah, 2012 to species rank (stat. rev.) on the basis of morphological and DNA sequence evidence. We also discuss the difficulties regarding taxonomic and geographical delimitation in these complex species groups. Observations on Euptychiina behaviour are also provided. Finally, based on external characters and male genitalia, a proposed preliminary arrangement of two species groups is proposed, including other species of Magneuptychia Forster, 1964 and Cissia Doubleday, 1848.

The classification of the superfamily Psylloidea is revised to incorporate findings from recent molecular studies, and to integrate a reassessment of monophyla primarily based on molecular data with morphological evidence and previous classifications. We incorporate a reinterpretation of relevant morphology in the light of the molecular findings and discuss conflicts with respect to different data sources and sampling strategies. Seven families are recognised of which four (Calophyidae, Carsidaridae, Mastigimatidae and Triozidae) are strongly supported, and three (Aphalaridae, Liviidae and Psyllidae) weakly or moderately supported. Although the revised classification is mostly similar to those recognised by recent authors, there are some notable differences, such as Diaphorina and Katacephala which are transferred from Liviidae to Psyllidae. Five new subfamilies and one new genus are described, and one secondary homonym is replaced by a new species name. A new or revised status is proposed for one family, four subfamilies, four tribes, seven subtribes and five genera. One tribe and eight genera / subgenera are synonymised, and 32 new and six revised species combinations are proposed. All recognised genera of Psylloidea (extant and fossil) are assigned to family level taxa, except for one which is considered a nomen dubium.

Oomyzus spiraculus Song, Fei & Cao sp. nov. (Hymenoptera, Eulophidae) is described and illustrated as a gregarious larval-pupal endoparasitoid of Coccinella septempunctata L. (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae). Differentiation between O. spiraculus and its similar species is discussed and a key to differentiate the female and male of these species is provided. DNA barcodes of O. spiraculus and O. scaposus are analyzed and compared.

Dichagyris is a diverse genus with a Holarctic distribution. Only a few taxa of the subgenus Albocosta Fibiger & Lafontaine, 1997 occur in the northwesternmost part of the Oriental region. The genus is most diverse in Turkey, Iran and the Central Asiatic high mountains. However, there is a distinct Sino-Tibetan group of species, possibly representing an undescribed subgenus. However, this idea is provisional and awaits revision of the genus. For present purposes, we assign these species to the subgenus Dichagyris. They share the following putative synapomorphies: black, dark brown or dark greyish forewing ground colour (with one exception), with obscure, reduced wing pattern and a broad-based, short, conical harpe in the male genitalia. Species of this group can be subdivided to two species-groups. In the astigmata-group which was mentioned for the first time by Hreblay et al. (1998) but without description or diagnosis from the minuta-group, the vesica is elongate and tubular (males), the appendix bursae and corpus bursae are long, sack–like, almost equal in size (females). In the minuta-group, the vesica is more ample than in the astigmata-group, and coiled, and the appendix bursae is globular and much shorter than the corpus bursae. The astigmata-group includes Dichagyris astigmata (Hampson, 1906), D. gansuensis Hreblay & Ronkay, 1998, D. geochroides (Boursin, 1948) and D. vargazoli (Gyulai & Ronkay, 2001). The minuta-group comprises D. minuta Hreblay & Plante, 1998 and D. kormos Gyulai & Ronkay, 2001. During a research expedition in Sichuan in 2019, the existence of a third species in the minuta-group was recognized, which is described here. In addition, the female and its genitalia of D. gansuensis, which was described by Hreblay & Ronkay (1998) based on a single male, are illustrated here for the first time.

AbstractA new genus, Archepiolus, and a new species, schmidi, belonging to the family Neopseustidae and suborder Dacnonypha are described in this paper. This genus and species occupy a very primitive position in the Neopseustidae. The venation shows the most primitive features in all the Dacnonypha; also the male genitalia show a more primitive condition than that of Neopseustis meyricki Hering. Some aspects of the male genitalia are close to Mnesarchaea paracorma Meyrick of the Mnesarchaeidae.The discovery of this moth provides new morphological evidence on the problem of the ancestors of the Dacnonypha and of all Lepidoptera.

A new species Anthaxia (Anthaxia) tichyi sp. nov. from Yunnan, Southern China, is described, illustrated, including male genitalia and compared with the most similar species Anthaxia (A.) cupressi Bílý, 2005. The new species belongs to newly defined Anthaxia (Anthaxia) hackeri J. Frivaldszky, 1884 species-group.

Aberrasine pangsau, sp. nov. is described as a new from Shergaon, Arunachal Pradesh, North East India. The new species is diagnosed with its closely similar species, A. strigivenata (Hampson, 1894). Additionally, we divide the genus into two species groups and provide the world checklist of the genus.

A new species, Passiflora kuethiana (Passifloraceae) is described and illustrated from Cordillera Calla Calla, Amazonas Department, Northern Peru. This species shares morphological characteristics more related with Passiflora tripartita and Passiflora runa on stipules and flowers but differs mainly from the former in the size, shape and color of the involucre, peduncles length and arrangement, and the latter in shape and margin of stipules. This species is considered as a new endemic to the Peruvian flora. Its location within the section Elkea according to the new classification of Passiflora is proposed. Comparative data of related species and a key to the species of the section Elkea from Northern Peru are too added.

Species of eight species-groups (seven named and one unnamed) of Simulium (Simulium) Latreille are revised chiefly based on the adult female and male genitalia. Four species-groups are each divided into more than two groups. Thus, the S. christophersi species-group is divided into two (S. christophersi and S. nebulicola species-groups), the S. griseifrons species-group into six (S. griseifrons, S. grossifilum, S. chungi, S. crocinum, S. indicum and S. yadongense species-groups), the S. malyschevi species-group into two (S. malyschevi and S. pavlovskii species-groups), and the S. melanopus species-group into three (S. melanopus, S. dumogaense and S. iridescens species-groups). The S. crassifilum species-group is merged with the S. variegatum species-group. Simulium fulvipes (Ono) of the former S. malyschevi species-group and S. dentastylum Yang, Chen & Luo of Simulium s. str. species unplaced to species-group are removed from the subgenus Simulium because their male styles are subequal in length to the coxites. A revised classification of species of the 15 species-groups including eight new species-groups of Simulium (Simulium) is presented. Keys to 20 species-groups of Simulium (Simulium) in the Oriental Region are provided for adult females and males.

The Afrotropical genus Pegylis Erichson, 1847 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Melolonthinae: Pegylini) was recently treated by Lacroix (2015), who keyed and figured most of the known species and divided the genus into six species groups based on the number of antennomeres, shape of male genitalia and number of teeth on the protibia. Unfortunately, Lacroix (2015) overlooked two earlier papers by Harrison (2014a, 2014b). Harrison (2014a, 2014b) provided a phylogenetic analysis of the tribe, synonymised Hypopholis Erichson, 1847 with Pegylis, and redescribed the three known South African species of Pegylis. Based on these papers, the genus Pegylis currently contains 37 species.
