The present work states that the analysis and design of decision support systems should consider their impacts on the emotional behaviors of negotiators. This paper provides a brief literature review with respect to this issue, and an outline of a research framework, which explains how to assess and analyze the dynamics of emotional behaviors in text-based negotiations. Subsequently, it provides some results, which show that a decision support system does not mitigate but intensifies emotional behaviors, toward the end of successful as well as failed text-based online negotiations. It is concluded that the research and design of decision support systems should focus more on the impact such systems have on the emotional behaviors of the supported negotiators.

Decision support technology has become a key link in modern information strategy. With the deepening of research, introduced expert systems have been introduced into decision support systems. In this way, decision support systems gradually become more uncertain and capable of handling uncertainties. The development direction of decision support system is typically based on qualitative analysis. Intelligent decision support system is a system that combines decision support system with artificial intelligence technology. This study attempts to assess in an innovative way the relationship between financing constraints, entrepreneurship, and agricultural firms. The most recently proposed intelligent decision support system, AI-assisted Intelligent Decision Support System (AIIDSS), is used to predict the impact of entrepreneurship on corporate performance. The paper constructs an entrepreneurship index from five aspects: innovation, competitiveness, human capital accumulation, management capability, and adventurous spirit. The method intends to construct the Kaplan–Zingales (KZ) index to evaluate financing constraints. Through an empirical study, it was found that entrepreneurship can significantly promote the growth of listed agricultural companies. The study can drastically reduce the difficulties involved in financing constraints normally faced by agricultural companies. The impact paths include increasing agricultural company operating cash flow, improving stock liquidity, and increasing debt financing. The research suggests that if listed agricultural companies are to improve financing constraints, entrepreneurs must improve their own competitiveness and management capabilities. This will help in reasonably controlling research and development investment besides the impulse to take risks. As the growth of an enterprise relies on considering the determinants of financing constraints, this research provides an effective investigation technique. Moreover, the findings of the study will help entrepreneurs, particularly agricultural companies, to bear most of the risks and to avail most of the opportunities.

The reception of journalists at the Waspada Daily Medan always went through several rigorous selections before being determined to be accepted as journalists at the Waspada Medan Daily. There are several criteria that must be possessed by each participant as a condition for becoming a journalist in the Daily Alert Medan. To get the best participants, the Waspada Medan Daily needed a decision support system. Decision Support Systems (SPK) are part of computer-based information systems (including knowledge-based systems (knowledge management)) that are used to support decision making within an organization or company. Decision support systems provide a semitructured decision, where no one knows exactly how the decision should be made. In this study the authors applied the VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) as the method to be applied in the decision support system application. The VIKOR method is part of the Multi-Attibut Decision Making (MADM) Concept, which requires normalization in its calculations. The expected results in this study can obtain maximum decisions. Keywords: Journalist Acceptance, Decision Support System, VIKOR

Computer tools are analyzed for implementing an adaptive decision support system; It is shown that controlled servers are used as the main service elements, and requests are used as the main information processing tools. The objective function of the adaptive decision support system is formulated, aimed at maximizing the number of requests processed per unit time under various changing external and internal influences. The methodology for calculating the parameters of the studied system is based on the proposed mathematical model.

Most infrastructure project developments are complex in nature, particularly in the planning phase. During this stage, many vague alternatives are tabled - from the strategic to operational level. Human judgement and decision making are characterised by biases, errors and the use of heuristics. These factors are intangible and hard to measure because they are subjective and qualitative in nature. The problem with human judgement becomes more complex when a group of people are involved. The variety of different stakeholders may cause conflict due to differences in personal judgements. Hence, the available alternatives increase the complexities of the decision making process. Therefore, it is desirable to find ways of enhancing the efficiency of decision making to avoid misunderstandings and conflict within organisations. As a result, numerous attempts have been made to solve problems in this area by leveraging technologies such as decision support systems. However, most construction project management decision support systems only concentrate on model development and neglect fundamentals of computing such as requirement engineering, data communication, data management and human centred computing. Thus, decision support systems are complicated and are less efficient in supporting the decision making of project team members. It is desirable for decision support systems to be simpler, to provide a better collaborative platform, to allow for efficient data manipulation, and to adequately reflect user needs. In this chapter, a framework for a more desirable decision support system environment is presented. Some key issues related to decision support system implementation are also described.

Information technology playing a prominent role in the field of medical by incorporating the clinical decision support system (CDSS) in their routine practices. CDSS is a computer based interactive program to assist the physician to make the right decision at right time. Nowadays, clinical decision support systems are a dynamic research area in the field of computers, but the lack of understanding, as well as functions of the system, make adoption slow by physicians and patients. The literature review of this article focuses on the overview of legacy CDSS, the kind of methodologies and classifiers employed to prepare such a decision support system using a non-technical approach to the physician and the strategy-makers. This article provides understanding of the clinical decision support along with the gateway to physician, and to policy-makers to develop and deploy decision support systems as a healthcare service to make the quick, agile and right decision. Future directions to handle the uncertainties along with the challenges of clinical decision support systems are also enlightened in this study.
