The purpose of this chapter is to explore the integration of three new concepts—big data, internet of things, and internet signs—in the countries of the former Soviet Union. Further, the concept of big data is analyzed. The internet of things is analyzed. Information on semiotics is given, and it reduces to the notion of internet signs. Context concepts and the contribution of big data, internet of things, and internet of signs to contextual simplification are analyzed. The chapter briefly outlines some potential applications of the integration of these three concepts. The chapter briefly discusses the contribution of the study and gives some extensions. These applications included continuous monitoring of accounting data, continuous verification and validation, and use of big data, location information, and other data, for example, to control fraudsters in the countries of the former Soviet Union.

The developing nations requires to have sustainable developments in the industries to have new product development and continuous improvement in the social and economic levels paving way for the customer satisfaction. The Big data and the Internet of things are innovative technologies that have made their separate stand in the industrial sector of manufacturing and providing competitive edge to the companies. So the combining of two technologies would multiply anticipation and would create way for the enhanced productivity by satisfying the global needs of the business. Further, the internet of thing along with the big data analytics is also expected to provide with the enhanced security provision, quality of process and products with reduced production down time and financial risk. So the paper proposes the big data and IoT role in the industrial sector and evaluates its performance by analyzing the impacts of the big data and the internet of things in the industry to have sustainability in production process. The proposed framework also analyses the potential applications and the key advantages offered by the integration of the internet of things and the big data.

The article substantiates that the successful development of the digital economy is closely linked to progress in several “frontier technologies”, among which the most important are such software-oriented technologies as Blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is determined that together these technologies provide new opportunities for better analysis, processing and use of digital information, which gives new opportunities for companies to improve their efficiency by offering new, more personalized products and services. In general, the article analyzes the leading technologies used in the formation of the digital economy, identifies their essence, types, and methods of practical application. The properties, potential advantages, and risks of blockchain technology are studied. The article gives examples of companies that use blockchain. They represent such areas as finance, data management, energy, government, transport, health. The main components of the Internet of Things are identified. These include means of identification, means of measurement, means of data transmission, means of data processing, performing devices. The hierarchy of the Internet of Things is also given. It consists of personal wearable devices, smart homes, and smart industry (industrial internet). The phases of the “industrial Internet” development are presented. The essence and constituent characteristics of Big Data are determined. Among them: volume, velocity, variety, value, veracity, variability, visualization. It is determined that the key sources of Big Data are information from the Internet; readings of various devices; corporate information. The competitive advantages of companies that use Big Data are given. Also, the advantages and models of using cloud technologies are described. The essence and components of artificial intelligence are determined. An example of its application in the economic activity of companies is presented.

Internet of Things (IoT) is an up-and-coming technology that has a wide variety of applications. It empowers physical objects to be organized in a specialized framework to grow its convenience in terms of ease and time utilization. It is to convert the thought of bridging the crevice between the physical world and the machine world. It is also being use in the wide range of the technology in this current situation. One of its applications is to monitor and store data over time from numerous devices allows for easy analysis of the dataset. This analysis can then be the basis of decisions made on the same. In this study, the concept, architecture, and relationship of IoT and Big Data are described. Next, several use cases in IoT and big data in the research methodology are studied. The opportunities and open challenges which including the future directions are described. Furthermore, by proposing a new architecture for big data analytics in the Internet of Things, this paper adds value. Overall, the various types of big IoT data analytics, their methods, and associated big data mining technologies are discussed.
