Data sets collected independently using the same variables can be compared using a new artificial neural network called Artificial neural network What If Theory, AWIT. Given a data set that is deemed the standard reference for some object, i.e. a flower, industry, disease, or galaxy, other data sets can be compared against it to identify its proximity to the standard. Thus, data that might not lend itself well to traditional methods of analysis could identify new perspectives or views of the data and thus, potentially new perceptions of novel and innovative solutions. This method comes out of the field of artificial intelligence, particularly artificial neural networks, and utilizes both machine learning and pattern recognition to display an innovative analysis.

Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is an important cause of mortality and morbidity globally. Objective : The early prediction of the CAD would be valuable in identifying individuals at risk, and in focusing resources on its prevention. In this paper, we aimed to establish a diagnostic model to predict CAD by using three approaches of ANN (pattern recognition-ANN, LVQ-ANN, and competitive ANN). Methods: One promising method for early prediction of disease based on risk factors is machine learning. Among different machine learning algorithms, the artificial neural network (ANN) algo-rithms have been applied widely in medicine and a variety of real-world classifications. ANN is a non-linear computational model, that is inspired by the human brain to analyze and process complex datasets. Results: Different methods of ANN that are investigated in this paper indicates in both pattern recognition ANN and LVQ-ANN methods, the predictions of Angiography+ class have high accuracy. Moreover, in CNN the correlations between the individuals in cluster ”c” with the class of Angiography+ is strongly high. This accuracy indicates the significant difference among some of the input features in Angiography+ class and the other two output classes. A comparison among the chosen weights in these three methods in separating control class and Angiography+ shows that hs-CRP, FSG, and WBC are the most substantial excitatory weights in recognizing the Angiography+ individuals although, HDL-C and MCH are determined as inhibitory weights. Furthermore, the effect of decomposition of a multi-class problem to a set of binary classes and random sampling on the accuracy of the diagnostic model is investigated. Conclusion : This study confirms that pattern recognition-ANN had the most accuracy of performance among different methods of ANN. That’s due to the back-propagation procedure of the process in which the network classify input variables based on labeled classes. The results of binarization show that decomposition of the multi-class set to binary sets could achieve higher accuracy.

In this paper we can see that identified computer incidents are subject for diagnostics, during which the characteristics of information security violations are clarified (purpose, causes, consequences, etc.). To diagnose computer incidents, we can use methods of automation while collection and processing the events that occur as a result of the implementation of scenarios for information security violations. Artificial neural networks can be used to solve the classification problem of assigning diagnostic data set (information image of a computer incident) to one of the possible values of the violation characteristic. The purpose of this work is to adapt the structure of an artificial neural network that allows the accuracy diagnostics of computer incidents when new training examples appear.

The new era of the world uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. The combination of AI and machine learning is called artificial neural network (ANN). Artificial neural network can be used as hardware or software-based components. Different topology and learning algorithms are used in artificial neural networks. Artificial neural network works similarly to the functionality of the human nervous system. ANN is working as a nonlinear computing model based on activities performed by human brain such as classification, prediction, decision making, visualization just by considering previous experience. ANN is used to solve complex, hard-to-manage problems by accruing knowledge about the environment. There are different types of artificial neural networks available in machine learning. All types of artificial neural networks work based of mathematical operation and require a set of parameters to get results. This chapter gives overview on the various types of neural networks like feed forward, recurrent, feedback, classification-predication.

In our article, inverse kinematic problem of a plasma cutting robot with three degree of freedom is solved using artificial neural networks. Artificial neural network was trained using joint angle values according to cartesian coordinates ( x, y, z) of end point of a robotic arm. The Levenberg–Marquardt training algorithm was applied to educate artificial neural network. To validate the designed neural network, it was tested using a new test data set which is not applied in training. A simulation was performed on a three-dimensional model of MSC.ADAMS software using angle values obtained from artificial neural network test. It was revealed from this simulation that trajectory of plasma cutting torch obtained using artificial neural network agreed well with desired trajectory.

AbstractThis study investigates the estimated adsorption efficiency of artificial Nickel (II) ions with perlite in an aqueous solution using artificial neural networks, based on 140 experimental data sets. Prediction using artificial neural networks is performed by enhancing the adsorption efficiency with the use of Nickel (II) ions, with the initial concentrations ranging from 0.1 mg/L to 10 mg/L, the adsorbent dosage ranging from 0.1 mg to 2 mg, and the varying time of effect ranging from 5 to 30 mins. This study presents an artificial neural network that predicts the adsorption efficiency of Nickel (II) ions with perlite. The best algorithm is determined as a quasi-Newton back-propagation algorithm. The performance of the artificial neural network is determined by coefficient determination (R2), and its architecture is 3-12-1. The prediction shows that there is an outstanding relationship between the experimental data and the predicted values.

In this paper, we propose a method to utilize machine learning to automate the system of classifying and transporting large quantities of logistics. First, establish an environment similar to the task of transferring logistics to the desired destination, and set up basic rules for classification and transfer. Next, each of the logistics that need sorting and transportation is defined as one entity, and artificial intelligence is introduced so that each individual can go to an optimal route without collision between the objects to the destination. Artificial intelligence technology uses artificial neural networks and uses genetic algorithms to learn neural networks. The artificial neural network is generated by each chromosome, and it is evolved based on the most suitable artificial neural network, and a score is given to each operation to evaluate the fitness of the neural network. In conclusion, the validity of this algorithm is evaluated through the simulation of the implemented system.

Reliable method of rainfall-runoff modeling is a prerequisite for proper management and mitigation of extreme events such as floods. The objective of this paper is to contrasts the hydrological execution of Emotional Neural Network (ENN) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) for modelling rainfall-runoff in the Sone Command, Bihar as this area experiences flood due to heavy rainfall. ENN is a modified version of ANN as it includes neural parameters which enhance the network learning process. Selection of inputs is a crucial task for rainfall-runoff model. This paper utilizes cross correlation analysis for the selection of potential predictors. Three sets of input data: Set 1, Set 2 and Set 3 have been prepared using weather and discharge data of 2 raingauge stations and 1 discharge station located in the command for the period 1986-2014.  Principal Component Analysis (PCA) has then been performed on the selected data sets for selection of data sets showing principal tendencies.  The data sets obtained after PCA have then been used in the model development of ENN and ANN models. Performance indices were performed for the developed model for three data sets. The results obtained from Set 2 showed that ENN with R= 0.933, R2 = 0.870, Nash Sutcliffe = 0.8689, RMSE = 276.1359 and Relative Peak Error = 0.00879 outperforms ANN in simulating the discharge. Therefore, ENN model is suggested as a better model for rainfall-runoff discharge in the Sone command, Bihar.

Lockers are one of the facilities that people use to store stuff. Artificial neural networks are computational systems where architecture and operations are inspired by the knowledge of biological neurons in the brain, which is one of the artificial representations of the human brain that always tries to stimulate the learning process of the human brain. One of the utilization of artificial neural network is for pattern recognition. The face of a person must be different but sometimes has a shape similar to the face of others, because the facial pattern is a good pattern to try to be recognized by using artificial neural networks. Pattern recognition on artificial neural network can be done by back propagation method. Back propagation method consists of input layer, hidden layer and output layer.
