This chapter suggests that embodied ritual practices of the feminine—involving media, art, psycho-spiritual technologies, and techniques of the occult—manifest transmedial auric fields that weave the dance of Aurora, the dance of awakening of the Goddess of Light. These fields resonate with the universal heart vibe, channeling the healing energies of the cosmic Mother to the physical, the digital, the mental, and the tech-noetic. Specific examples from the work of three women are presented, namely Dr. Lila Moore, Vedava (the author of this chapter) and Sedona Soulfire. These modern creatrixes actualize their media priestess function by fusing consciousness and the imaginative with the ancient and the futuristic, in the convergence of art, body, technology, and 21st century feminine spirituality.

В работе на основе полевых материалов начала XXI в. дана характеристика особенностей восприятия храмового праздника - Прокопьева дня (21 июля) в с. Большелуг Республики Коми. В устных рассказах информантов 1920-1960-х гг. наблюдается вариативность в его праздновании. Разнообразятся высказывания относительно количества дней празднования храмового праздника (от двух до четырех), даты начала и конца (от 19 до 24 июля), а также очередности гостевания в селе и ближайших деревнях. В условиях отсутствия достоверной информации о практике празднования Прокопьева дня, сложившейся в селе до 1930-х гг., происходит попытка «приватизировать» престольный праздник и начинают функционировать фольклорные рассказы о некогда обычной практике. Став главным общесельским праздником, Прокопьев день начинает притягивать различные ритуальные практики и обычаи (приметы, запреты и предписания). Данная ситуация развивается на фоне того, что в Большелуге церковь освящена во имя Свт. Николая, чудотворца и архиепископа Мир Ликийских, однако Николин день фольклорной традицией остается практически незамеченным. This paper is based on field materials from the beginning of the 21st century and describes the peculiarities of perception of the temple holiday (khramovoi or prestol’nyi prazdnik) - Prokopy Day (July 21) in the village of Bolshelug in the Komi Republic. Compared to oral stories of the 1920s and 1960s, there are variations in its later celebration. Various statements are made regarding the number of days the holiday is celebrated (from July 19 to 24), as well as the order of visiting in the village and in nearby villages. In the absence of reliable information about the practice of celebrating Prokopy Day which had been established in the village by the 1930s, attempts were made to “privatize” the feast day and to put into practice folkloric descriptions of the once common ritual. Having become the main village holiday, Prokopy Day also began to incorporate various new ritual practices and customs (omens, prohibitions and prescriptions). This process developed against the background of the fact that in Bolshelug the church was consecrated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and Archbishop of Myra, although St. Nicholas Day folklore has remained mostly overlooked.

Arguably, in a time of war literature, and indeed all writing, is saturated with deep psychic responses to conflict. So that not only in literary genres such as epic and tragedy, but also in the novel and comedy, can writing about war be discerned. C.G. Jung,  Shakespeare and Lindsay Clarke are fundamentally writers of war who share allied literary strategies. Moreover, they diagnose similar origins to the malaise of a culture tending to war in the neglect of aspects of the feminine that patriarchy prefers to ignore. In repressing or evading the dark feminine, cultures as dissimilar as ancient Greece, the 21st century, Shakespeare's England and Jung's Europe prevent the healing energies of the conjunctio of masculine and feminine from stabilising an increasingly fragile consciousness. In the Troy novels of Clarke, Answer to Job by Jung and Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare, some attempt at spiritual nourishment is made through the writing.

Entre 1999 e 2000, estudou-se um grupo de bruxas praticantes de wicca. Este grupo é formado por uma maioria de mulheres, que se designam como bruxas. Operam dentro da idéia de uma bruxaria moderna que retoma características da bruxaria tradicional, mas sem a idéia de acusação ou malefício. A wicca utiliza concepções tradicionais sobre os gêneros, invertendo a valoração costumeiramente encontrada para ambos, dando ao feminino maior valor, o que se traduz na preeminência das mulheres em sua teologia e práticas rituais. A pesquisa de campo permitiu estabelecer um perfil para praticantes de wicca na área do Rio de Janeiro. Modern Witches: a study of feminine identity among wicca practitioners Abstract A group of witches practitioners of wicca has been studied between 1999 and 2000. This group is composed mostly by women who designate themselves as witches. They operate with a notion of modern witchcraft that appropriates some characteristics of traditional witchcraft, but not the idea of accusation or misdeed. The wicca also uses traditional gender conceptions, inverting the valuation of both genders usually found, giving the feminine a higher value, which is translated in the preeminence of women in its theology and ritual practices. Field research allowed the establishment of the profile of wicca practitioners in the Rio de Janeiro area.

The text deals with the rituals of passage, granting and approval accompanying entering adulthood. These considerations refer to both theoretical issues, taking into account the typology of rituals proposed by Pierre Bourdieu, and to selected results of own research (quantitative and qualitative) carried out at the end of the first decade of the 21st century among high school graduates of the Świętokrzyskie region. The ritual practices that are still important for young people (confirmation, "eighteenth" and high school graduation) were taken into account, although the manner of their celebration and the functions performed are subject to more or less significant transformations.
