This paper aims to present the right to submit a petition as an option of direct parent participation in the process of developing educational policy. The issues addressed are in line with reconstruction of the knowledge on the possibilities of involving citizens in developing educational policy as well as show one of the forms of activities addressing the idea of participation (the right to petition). A critical analysis of the discourse provides the scientific perspective used to collect and interpret the empirical material. The analysis has covered petitions submitted by parents to the Ministry of National Education (MEN) in 2020. The study results consistently show that parent participation in the education in Poland is still of occasional and postulatory nature.

My intention is to draw attention to pedagogical studies, and more specifically Pedagogy that according to ISCED-F 2013 classification belong to broad field named Education. The rationale for taking up this subject is the special and requiring reflection situation of pedagogical studies, including its relation to teacher training In my opinion, in Poland pedagogical studies has begun the next stage of its functioning and it will most likely change significantly in the upcoming years. In the article, I argue that the perspective of changes in pedagogical studies is determined not only by the general direction of changes in academic education, but also by following factors:(1) the new situation of pedagogy as a scientific discipline, which is the basis for the analysed field of study, (2) pedagogization of social life, which results in broadening the fields of activity for graduates in pedagogy. In this article graffiti is perceived as the art of living with images operated by young artists. The author draws attention to the fact that this art does not only have a negative perception of character, and thus also a social perception (reception). There is explained what the polarization effect of two neighboring generations of graffiti artists in the social space is - open and hidden, in which a presented group of artists tries to manifest their position and presence. Is it worth talking about graffiti in pedagogy in social sciences? The author analyzes it (graffiti) which may not penetrate the structures of life of the young generation, their school, and out-of-school environments, and what does not become the source of rebellion and also a way for establishing a new type of social and educational relationship.

When Poland regained independence it was crucial to unite school systems of all polish lands under one governance, as well as to prepare projects of school acts, that would apply to all country. Most important was to unify system, its organization, language of lectures etc. in the whole country. In accordance with Ustawa o ustroju szkolnictwa dated 11th March 1932 school system was to be based on seven-year 3rd degree public school. It was assumed, that schools would prepare talented children and adolescents to promotion from one type of school to the other, as well as to promotion from lower degree schools to higher degree schools. „Wiadomości Historyczno-Dydaktyczne” were one of the journals published between 1933 and 1939 by Polish Historical Society for history teaching. Editor-in-chief was Kazimierz Tyszkowski, who after 1937 functioned together with Antoni Knot. Articles concerning teaching of history in secondary school, especially concerning introduction of new programs, were published in „Wiadomości Historyczno-Dydaktyczne”. Taking into account the need to organize school system after more than 100-years dependence from invaders governance, should not be surprising, that it was developed fast, and not always proposed and implemented solutions were supported by the public, teachers and experts, what can be noticed when analyzing content of particular articles.

The aim of this article is to answer the question of how parental professional aspirations influence the upbringing level, realized in the Polish families. This problem is most acute in the context of labour migration, hence this issue is of central importance in this study. A personalistic view of the issue allows for drawing more profound conclusions than sociological research.

The article presents graduate programs (Masters level) in the field of social pedagogy offered by Helena Radlińska and her colleagues at the University of Łódz after WWII. Socio-Pedagogical studies established at the Department of Social Pedagogy at the University of Łódz were supposed to prepare educational, social, and cultural workers in time of revival of Poland after 1945. The example of the educational model created at that time can serve as an inspiration in the development of contemporary programs of education rooted in the Polish socio-pedagogical tradition.
