Customer Relationships Management for Improved Productivity

Customer relationship management (CRM) is a core business strategy for most organizations. In today's global economy, it is essential for organizations to find ways of increasing their productivity. This article discusses the operations management's decision of customer relationships management. It is vital for a business to motivate its employees and use the best strategies to facilitate customer relations. The CRM-enabled strategy focuses on two organizations in the NE Ohio area: Progressive Corporation and KeyCorp Bank. The structure of this chapter is reflective of the qualitative business case study using best practices. Initially, a description of the companies' current strategies and software that promotes CRM is followed by some of its major strategic initiatives to foster the development of CRM. This basic case study approach aims to provide an understanding of the transitions, challenges, and the implementation of CRM in these organizations.

Companies engaged in the creative industry right now are implementing employee empowerment as one step in the organization to participate more effectively and make things work well (Siachou & Gkorezis, 2018). Empowerment teaches how employees make decisions and accept responsibility for the results of what they do. Related to the issue of development and creative economic growth, what are the organization’s efforts towards employees in creative industry companies through empowerment employee (McRobbie, 2016)? This study aims to determine employees’ perceptions of employee empowerment and the impact of empowerment on creative business. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The subject of the research is 18 employees at the company Janur Biru, Surakarta. Data collection was done through interviews, observations, and review of documents. Long-time observation and research take about 6 months. Research data are analyzed by classifying data based on various data available, then connecting with data and information obtained from literature, documents, surveys, interviews, and field observation. Based on the results of research conducted at Janur Biru about employee empowerment, it can be concluded, that overall empowerment for employees is good. The most dominant employee empowerment is accountability. The dimensions of desire are generally good. However, the lack of creative encouragement for employees to think about work strategies is because work strategies are still being made by leaders

Carp (Cyprinus carpio) hatchery cultivation is one of the business activities carried out by the community in Ciparay District, Bandung Regency. This research aims to analyze the financial feasibility of carp hatchery cultivation in Ciparay District, Bandung Regency. This research was conducted using a case study method consisting of primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from interviews with respondents and secondary data obtained from related agencies. This research uses 38 respondents as samples based on the sampling method (purposive sampling). The analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results obtained from this research are carp hatchery cultivation in Ciparay District has a profit value of 164,225,000 IDR/year, Profitability of 217%, R/C of 3.2 and Payback Period of 33 days so it is feasible to run and develop. Carp hatchery cultivators in Ciparay District, Bandung Regency are indicated to be prosperous because they have a higher income than the Regional Minimum Wage of Bandung Regency.

This family business case study is concerned with investigating the issue of the complexity of the many views of the family business research, focusing exclusively on the entrepreneurial concept. In taking this concept, three characteristics were identified in this case study, namely: the attitudes, the skills, and the behavior. Along with these findings, it is suggested that the conceptual model, the so-called “the three circles,” where this three circle has an overlap and identify as a longer-term entrepreneurial perspective within the family-owned enterprise.
