Earth pressure may change with retaining wall deformation in the process of deep excavating. But how? The answer can be very important to the safety of retaining system. Using monitoring data of north anchor foundation pit of Runyang suspension bridge, this paper studied retaining structure and soil interaction. Find the relationship between retaining wall deformation and earth pressure in deep excavation. In this case, earth pressure increased with wall deformation upward the depth of 18m and decreased with wall deformation down below. A regression equation about foundation pit depth and ratio of earth pressure and wall deformation was established. Then give a simplified earth pressure calculation method considering retaining wall deformation.

Abutment bridge is a building under the bridge located on both sides of the bridge end. The process of building a bridge abutment often requires excavation to the depth of the abutment base so that the abutment reinforcement and casting work can be carried out. In deep excavation work, each side of the excavation needs to be installed in a flexible retaining wall type (plaster) first. In this study, CCSP stability analysis was carried out on earth excavation work for abutment bridge BH 1751. The calculation method starts from determining the lateral earth pressure acting on the soil, then determining the depth of CCSP planting that is able to produce CCSP stability on the rolling force. The analysis shows that the depth of CCSP planting that meets the safety requirements of the rolling force is 20 m

Abstract Variation laws of earth pressure accounting for the displacement of are taining wall can be well described by mathmatical fitting in the study of the relationship between earth pressure and retaining wall displacement. The common mathematical function expressions of earth pressure displacement of retaining wall can be divided into sinusoidal function model, exponential like function model, hyperbolic function model, fitting function and semi-numerical and semi-analytical model function, etc. The characteristics and shortcomings of the current expression of earth pressure displacement function are summarized. Then combined with the field test and model test, the applicability and characteristics of various mathematical functions in predicting the displacement of earth pressure with retaining structures are analyzed. The results show that when the displacement is small, the sinusoidal function model and the quasi-exponential function model are close to the measured results. When the displacement of retaining structure is large, the fitting results of hyperbolic model and semi-numerical and semi-analytical model are better. For the prediction of earth pressure displacement relationship in passive area, the buried depth has a great influence. And the error between the theoretical value and the actual value has a great influence on the fitting result of the model.

Slope anchorage structure of soil nail is a kind of economic and effective flexible slope supporting structure. This structure at present is widely used in China. The supporting structure belong to permanent slope anchorage structure, so the design must consider earthquake action. Its methods of dynamical analysis and seismic design can not be found for the time being. The seismic design theory and method of traditional rigidity retaining wall have not competent for this new type of flexible supporting structure analysis and design. Because the acceleration along the slope height has amplification effect under horizontal earthquake action, errors should be induced in calculating earthquake earth pressure using the constant acceleration along the slope height. Considering the linear change of the acceleration along the slope height and unstable soil with the fortification intensity the influence of the peak acceleration, the earthquake earth pressure calculation formula is deduced. The soil nailing slope anchorage structure seismic dynamic calculation model is established and the analytical solutions are obtained. The seismic design and calculation method are given. Finally this method is applied to a case record for illustration of its capability. The results show that soil nailing slope anchorage structure has good aseismic performance, the calculation method of soil nailing slope anchorage structure seismic design is simple, practical, effective. The calculation model provides theory basis for the soil nailing slope anchorage structure of seismic design. Key words: soil nailing; slope; earthquake action; seismic design;
