A general framework of hydraulic fault diagnosis system was studied. It consisted of equipment knowledge bases, databases, fusion reasoning, knowledge acquisition and so on. The tree-structure model of the fault knowledge was established based on fault hierarchy and logicality. Fault nodes knowledge was encapsulated by object-oriented technique. Complete knowledge bases were made including fault bases and diagnosis bases. It could describe the fault positions, system structure, cause-symptom relationships, diagnosis principles and other knowledge. The results show that the methods are effective.

On the basis of analyzing multiple fault mechanism of the flexible manufacturing system (FMS), the FMS diagnosis system architecture frameworks are built. The FMS status monitoring and fault diagnosis system and software model are especially proposed. The monitoring system structure and hardware composition are discussed, and software structure is also given. Finally, the FMS monitoring and diagnosis system are developed.

In order to develope and research fault diagnosis platform of one electronic equipment, this paper mainly expound the equipment fault diagnosis system based on PDA/HPC structure and function as well as the development platform technology, introduce database management system structure and realization based on PDA/HPC. The successfully developed exepert system is of great significance to improve repair guarantee ability of the electronic equipment and its technical realization and application has model significance and reference value.

SUMMARYIn this paper, an approach to modelling of a robotic assembly cell is proposed and a method for managing the cell operation is described using a knowledge base. Since the modelling structure is based on the concept of the state variable, the relationships between states are described by the state transition map (STM). The knowledge-bases for state transition and assembly job information are obtained from the STM and the assembly job tree (AJT), respectively. Using the knowledge-base, the System structure is discussed in relation to both managing the cell operation and evaluating the performances. Finally, a simulation algorithm is presented with the simulation results to show the significance of the proposed modelling approach.

For the improvement of reliability, safety and efficiency advanced methods of fault diagnosis, new technology and method such as expert system become increasingly important for many kinds of fault diagnosis. Thereby, the classification principle of system structure is used to build the hierarchical analysis model of combustion engine. The model is converted to binary fault tree by means of Fault Tree Analytical Method (FTA). Meanwhile, the knowledge base is constructed with production rule and frame representation. Fault diagnosis system is designed on the thought of analytical hierarchy process. Its development is accomplished by Delphi 7.0 language. The work has offered a simple and practical tool to users and brings great convenience to engineering corps.

Hydraulic cylinder is an important actuator in hydraulic system, affecting the system running correctly and effectively. It’s closed and difficult to observe the failure symptoms, and result the difficulties of fault diagnosis and elimination for hydraulic cylinder. In this paper, a fault detection instrument and system for hydraulic cylinder are developed to diagnose the fault mode through position and pressure signals and infer decision based on FMEA base.

This paper discusses a Web-based remote radar fault diagnosis and information system . A delicated radar network is set up with knowledge base and Web . The various key points about the structure , the function module and the key technology of the remote diagnosis system are analyzed and developed . In this way the real-time monition and automatical fault and diagnosis are realized , the reliability of the radar and the emergency repairing ability is improved .
