This paper introduces communication based train contrl (CBTC) technology, focusing on the concept of the CBTC , the CBTC system structure, and the CBTC system basic principle. This paper presents the CBTC system is composed of two parts by the train control system and wireless information transmission, the CBTC system using wireless communication technology to achieve real-time bi-directional communication in the train and the trackside equipment, through an open data communication network. Finally, data communication subsystem network architecture in the CBTC system has been studied.

Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) system is a critical signal system to ensure rail transit’s safe operation. Compared with the train-ground CBTC system, the train control system based on train-to-train (T2T) communication has the advantages of fast response speed, simple structure, and low operating cost. As the core part of the train control system based on T2T communication, the reliability of the data communication system (DCS) is of great significance to ensure the train’s safe and efficient operation. According to the T2T communication system requirements, this paper adopts Long-Term Evolution-Unlicensed (LTE-U) technology to design the DCS structure and establishes the reliability model of the communication system based on Deterministic and Stochastic Petri Nets (DSPN). Based on testing the real line’s communication performance parameters, the DSPN model is simulated and solved by π -tool, and the reliability index of the system is obtained. The research results show that the LTE-U-based T2T communication system designed in this paper meets the train control system’s needs for communication transmission. This paper’s reliability evaluation method can complete the reliability modeling of train control DCS based on T2T communication. The research in this paper will provide a strong practical and theoretical basis for the design and optimization of train control DCS based on T2T communication.

As a complex and safety-critical system, any failure in the Next Generation Train Control System (NGTC) departure scenario may cause serious personal injuries and property losses. It is very necessary to study NGTC scenario scheme and effective modeling and verification methods. This paper investigates the key technologies of the NGTC, optimizes the system structure and redistribution functions, and proposes the train control system scheme and typical operating scenarios. Firstly, the structure, equipment function and information interaction of NGTC are analyzed, and the operation scenarios of the system scheme are designed. This paper also uses UML language to describe the train departure scenario, and uses NuSMV modeling to verify accessibility and certainty of the scenario scheme. The results show that, the scheme proposed in this paper provides a reference for the design and implementation of the NGTC.

Telephone network based on IMS technology has been widely applied in power production and dispatching communication, especially in distributed power stations. Analysis and positioning failure of IMS network is arduous, because it’s dependent on IP data communication network. In this paper, we first introduced IMS switching network architecture and distributed generation communication network architecture, analyzed and summarized all kinds of network malfunction. Combining typical IMS network fault connection relations, we introduced an improved Petri net fault handling model and reasoning method. The diagnosis and positioning results could reflect the defects of equipment logic functions. This method on fault diagnosis and location of substation network has been proved to be effective through practical application.
