To obtain reliable test data of ventilator vibration and overcome defects of the traditional vibration test methods such as complicated instruments, low reliability, high costs and so on, the vibration measurement and analytical system for ventilator is established based on the virtual instrument technology using circulating cooling circuit, advanced accelerometers and signal acquisition. The program for acquisition and process procedure of vibration data are compiled with LabVIEW which is the graphical and modular programming language. The structure, function, design idea and theoretical basis of hardware and software systems for the test are described respectively. It proves that this system is more accurate and practical than conventional vibration meter.

This paper introduces the liquid level detecting system, using the laser displacement sensor to realize automatic measurement, using LabVIEW virtual instrument technology to data collection technology, network communication and database management technology are integrated in one system, has simple structure and design, strong universality, expanding the convenience and high efficiency of data transmission. Can be applied to different testing apparatus, the data acquisition system has good universality, is easy to embed other application testing system.

Most civil engineering structures have long service life and situate in severe environment. So it is the key to carry out testing task continuously according to scheduled demands for the long-term monitoring based on FBG sensing. But the existing instruments cannot satisfy the long-term and remote testing demands. Based on virtual instrument and remote panel technique, the automatic testing and controlling system for FBG sensor array were developed. Modularization programming method was adopted and the control program can be adjusted according to practical demands freely. The testing system can save and figure the results automatically, and it can also discern and process the error signal. These extend and perfect the function of traditional FBG demodulation instrument, and make the testing system more flexible and reliable. It greatly reduces the difficulties in remote and long-term testing task.

Engine running plays very important roles in a turbo-shaft engine production and maintenance. Traditional computer aided testing is just work as a data acquisition system to measure parameters and control some devices. In this paper, a CAT system is realized based on VXI and virtual instrument technology, which also communicate with the PLC, the ECU and the dynamometer, to provide a centralized information system for a turbo-shaft engine running. Multi-functions are realized to assistant users before, during and after experiments.

Following the test work is difficult and complex in the modern radar maintenance support, the automatic testing of radar board is necessary for the radar maintenance man. A automatic test system of radar board based on virtual instrument technology is discussed. The system used PXI bus technology and Labview program language. The design of automatic testing system is given, its hardware solution and software solution is designed. And finally the reliability and expansibility of system design is discussed at last.

In this paper, we used Lab VIEW development platform, designed a virtual signal acquisition and analysis system based on the soundcard. In addition we studied the signal acquisition performance of it. This system has functions of signal acquisition, analysis, waveform display and storage. It is easy to use with good interface, and function appending is available on user requirement. It offers a kind of DAQ solution with low cost. It has broad application prospect, can be extended to the field of speech recognition, ambient noise monitoring and laboratory measurement etc.

In this paper, the advantage of virtual instrument technology is analyzed, and vibration-monitoring system of hydropower unit based on virtual instrument technology was developed combining the requirement of vibration monitoring. The design idea on hardware configuration and functions of each software system module of the system are introduced. The test experiments are made in the laboratory. Experiment results show that the system developed in this paper can realize the function of real-time sampling of the data, monitoring, analyzing, testing and remote diagnosis of the hydraulic vibration.
