Recently, polygon hole castellated steel beams have been studied and applied which had better social and economic benefits. But it brings more difficulties to extend castellated steel components that less studies of castellated bending members. In this essay, ANSYS that is a kind of finite element software had been used to analyze castellated bending members, and characteristics of stability bearing capacity in moment plane of regular hexagon hole castellated steel components had been studied that can provide references to engineering design.

In this paper, in order to understand fully the development of failure mechanism, bearing capacity and seismic performance of the steel H-beams and composite concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) column joints strengthened by outside strengthening ring, in the space zone the effects of changing the axial compression ratio is investigated. A 3D joint finite element model is built up by finite element software ABAQUS, the elastic-plastic finite element analysis is carried through numerical modeling process. The analysis results showed that low axial compression ratio has a little influence on the bearing capacity; with the increase of axial pressure the bearing capacity will decrease in a high axial compression ratio, moreover the failure pattern of joint changes from beam end to column end. The ductility of the specimens is decreased by raising axial compression ratio.

By using finite element software ABAQUS, the nonlinear finite element analysis of earthquake resistance behavior of T-shaped concrete-filled rectangular composite steel tubular columns is carried out, furthermore, the analysis results and the corresponding experiment results are compared. The results indicate that the calculated value of ultimate bearing capacity is less than the experimental value, and the results of FEM analysis can match the experiment results better, and thus, it can better reflect the earthquake resistance behaviors of the specimens.

Variable section portal frame is increasingly concerned and is widely used for its economy, beauty and short construction period, compared with other traditional structures. In-plane stability response of variable section columns of portal frames is the focus of this paper. Results are presented for parameters influence of variable section column on the in-plane stability bearing capacity with finite element analysis. References are proposed for practical application compared with computational formulas of Technical Specification for Steel Structure of Light-Weight Buildings with Gabled Frames.

With the rapid development of the construction industry, the country has a higher demand for scaffolding engineering, so it is very necessary to develop and promote the application of wheel buckle scaffolding. Steel tube scaffold with wheel buckle has the characteristics of clear transmission and good mechanical performance. In order to study the structural performance of steel tubular scaffolding with wheel buckle, the single span three-step element frame was tested. The failure mode and ultimate bearing capacity of the frame are obtained. The finite element software Sap2000 was used to conduct 3d modeling and linear buckling analysis of scaffolds in the test. The results of experiments and finite element analysis show that the failure type of steel tubular scaffolding is the overall torsional instability failure. The connection stiffness at the joint of the diagonal brace fastener has a great influence on the wheel-buckle scaffold. The diagonal brace has obvious influence on the bearing capacity of steel tubular scaffolding body with buckles.

By using finite element software ABAQUS, the nonlinear finite element analysis of earthquake resistance behavior of L-shaped concrete-filled rectangular composite steel tubular columns is carried out, furthermore, the analysis results and the corresponding experimental results are compared. The results indicate that the finite element calculated value of ultimate bearing capacity is less than experimental value; axial compression ratio of the specimen has little affect on its ultimate bearing capacity and earthquake resistance behaviors; the results of FEM analysis can match the experiment results better, and thus, it can better reflect the earthquake resistance behaviors of the specimens.

In order to study the performance of concrete frame columns that reinforcedby assembleinclined web steel truss, with the same reciprocatinghorizontal displacement and different axialcompression. It canbe calculate the mechanical behavior of concrete frame columns and reinforced columns by using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS. Simulation analysis shows that the bearing capacity ofreinforced columnshas greatly increased andpresented a full hysteresis curve. The result shows that the reinforcement method of assemble inclined web steel truss can greatly improve the bearing capacity and ductility of the concrete frame column, and the axial compression is larger, the better the reinforcement effect.

The flexural behavior of non-holomorphic circular pile and cylindrical pile is respectively evaluated based on the results of finite element analysis with ABAQUS. It is presented that the ultimate bearing capacities of non-holomorphic circular pile and cylindrical pile have little difference. The displacement ductility ratio of non-holomorphic circular pile lies between 3.38 and 3.64, indicating that the NHC pile has better ductility.

In this paper ,it analyses the push-extend multi-under-reamed pile in use of elastic-plastic theory by the software ANSYS.It takes four push-extend multi-under-reamed piles which are the same except plates' distance. It introduces the realative theory to make the anlysis much more accuracy. The results which is taken by ANSYS are researched to find out the regularity and can certain the reasonable plate's distance to anlyze the bearing capacity of push-extend multi-under-reamed pile at the same time.
