In order to make the relay protection setting value online checking work more scientific and perfect, this paper studies the integration of county of relay protection setting value online verification scheme based on. Firstly, the county to achieve the integration constant value on-line check the general introduction, focuses on the display data acquisition and the checking calculation; then the county integration interface setting strategy of online check, describes the intelligent interface of intelligent don't know County, interface verification principle and interface design check the principle of selection; finally summing junction surface setting technique of on-line verification.

Abstract During the last decade, increasingly advanced turbocharger models have been developed for sizing, engine matching and one-dimensional modeling. This work goes further and, instead of using these models for turbocharged engines design or analysis, it implements them in the data acquisition and control system of a turbocharger gas stand. This way, interesting new capabilities arise. The paper shows that there are important synergies between advanced turbocharger gas stand data acquisition and control systems and the modern turbocharger holistic models that have not been deeply exploited until now. They can be summarized as: on-line heat fluxes analysis, in-situ outlier testing points detection, testing time saving and using digital-twin techniques to monitor turbocharger health during testing.

The Internet has become a growing channel for consumer purchases. Half of all U.S. consumers made at least one purchase on-line in 2001. However, many consumers report frustration with the lack of support for navigation within many Internet retailers' web sites. Several design patterns have been suggested to overcome these limitations, such as expanded hierarchies and breadcrumbs. This study investigated the effects of these design patterns on users' quantitative performance and subjective preference for ecommerce web sites. Expanded hierarchies, a design pattern that is commonly used by many retail web sites, degraded all of the performance metrics assessed in the study. Users required more time, made more errors, used more clicks, and had lower satisfaction scores for sites designed with expanded hierarchies. The results for breadcrumbs suggest that they may improve performance. The inclusion of breadcrumbs reduced the number of clicks required by users to complete the tasks, but other performance metrics did not reach statistical significance. The results indicate that design patterns that are believed to improve performance a priori may not yield the results expected.

This chapter addresses the evolution of state of the art interactive systems aimed at the cultural heritage of the Mediterranean area in Europe, especially Spain and Italy. It covers the last two decades of advances in design and considers the human and technological factors in the effective use and assessment of hypertext, multimedia and hypermedia. The chapter introduces basic concepts to eliminate ambiguities and to (re)acquaint readers with the main components of audiovisual technologies that have been vital to the (r)evolution of on-line and off-line cultural heritage material. It goes on to analyze quality in the communication process between potential users and interactive systems by drawing upon essential concepts in software engineering, human-computer interaction, semiotics, interface design and communicability. The main goal is to establish metrics for the heuristic evaluation of the quality attributes that make up an interactive system, taking as a reference the intersection of the formal sciences and the factual sciences. The chapter mainly focuses on dynamic and static audiovisual media, including digital photography, video, and computer animation. Consequently, this process of diachronic study of interactive systems has allowed the author to generate a methodology—Aesthetics Cultural Heritage for Communicability Assessment (ACHCA)—for evaluating communicability in dynamic and static cultural heritage media. The chapter also includes a table for the heuristic analysis of on-line and off-line systems, based on design categories addressing content, presentation, structure, navigation, panchronism and conection of the interactive system. Finally the chapter presents the results of a study of on-line and off-line systems from the 1990s to 2010.
