1D chain Ca(II) coordination polymer was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, IR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction, The results of crystal structure show that each Ca(II) ion forms eight-coordinated and the complex formed one dimensional chain structure by the oxygen atoms of carboxylate and water bridged. The antibacterial activity of the Ca(II) coordination polymer and the ligand were tested, the results show that the complex show considerable antibacterial activity against escherichia coli, bacillus subtilis and staphylococcus white.

A chain Ni (II) coordination polymer material was prepared and characterized by elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 1.24348(13) nm, b = 1.29477(12) nm, c = 1.51480(17) nm and Dc = 1.401 g•cm-3. The results of structural analysis indicated that each Ni (II) ion forms six-coordinated with nitrogen atoms of pyridine and thiocyanate, and the Ni (II) coordination polymer material formed one dimensional chain structure by the interaction of pyridine rings.

In order to synthesize a new catalysis material, the title complex, [Zn(2,2’-bipyridine)(H2O)2(SO4)]n, was prepared and determined by X-ray diffraction. The results shows that the compound was crystallized in the monoclinic system, space groupC2/c, witha= 15.4304(14) Å,b= 12.7150(11) Å,c= 6.7068(5) Å,β= 102.103(10)º,V= 1286.61(19) Å3,Z= 4. The geometry of Zn(II) is a distortedcis-ZnN2O4octahedron. In the structure of the title complex, a one-dimensional chain structure is formed by hydrogen-bond.

The results showed that the compound the calcium ion lies in seven-coordinated environments, belonging to monocapped trigonal prism geometry. The complex formed one dimensional chain structure through intramolecule and intermolecule hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interaction. The antibacterial assay of the Ca(Ⅱ) complex was tested using a modified version of the 2-fold serial dilution method. The results show that the complex shows considerable antibacterial activity against escherichia coli, bacillus subtilis and staphylococcus white.

17-Allyl-4,5-anhydro-7α-[(R)-1-hydroxy-1-methyl-3-(2-thienyl)propyl]-6-methoxy-6,14-ethanomorphinan-3,4,5-triol (thienorphine 6) was synthesized and structurally characterized by NMR spectra, ESI-MS and X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure indicates that thienorphine maintained the main rigid structure of morphine while containing the C6-C14 ethano bridge. The allyl group is located in the equatorial position as expected. The packing diagram of 6 showed the presence of intramolecular and intermolecular O-H···O hydrogen bonds linking the molecules into a zigzag infinite quasi-one-dimensional chain structure.

AbstractThe cyano-bridged heteronuclear coordination polymer of zinc(II)/nickel(II) has been prepared by N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-ethylendiamine (hydet-en), alternatively named 2-(2-aminoethylamino)-ethanol and characterised by IR and thermal analysis. In the bimetallic complex, the decomposition of hydet-en ligands is seen to be endothermic whereas that of the cyano ligands is found to be exothermic. The crystal structure of the complex has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. A new Na (I) complex, [Na (H2O)5(DMF)]·(L) (L=1,5-naphthalenedisulfonate) has been obtained in the CH3CH2OH and a little DMF solution. The complex was characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis. The results showed that the local geometry around central Na (I) ion can be described a distorted octahedral environment which connected by five water molecules and one DMF molecule. The complex formed one dimensional chain structure through intramolecule and intermolecule hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking.

The results showed that the complex crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n with a = 0.63090(10) nm, b = 0. 70513(11) nm, c = 2.4262(4) nm, V = 1.0766(3) nm3, Z = 2, F (000) = 562, Rint = 0.0252. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that each calcium ion lies in six-coordinated environments, and the complex formed one dimensional chain structure through intramolecule and intermolecule hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interaction.

The reaction of CoSO4with 2,4-oxydibenzoic acid (H2oba) and 4,4′-bipyridine (bipy) under hydrothermal condition yielded a new one-dimensional cobalt(II) coordination polymer, {[Co(C14H9O5)2(C10H8N2)(H2O)2]·2H2O}n, which was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, magnetic properties and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The CoIIions are connected by bipy ligands into infinite one-dimensional chains. The Hoba−ligands extend out from the two sides of the one-dimensional chain. O—H...O hydrogen bonding extends these chains into a two-dimensional supramolecular architecture.

Coordination polymers with a new rigid ligand 1,3-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)adamantane (L) were prepared by its reaction with cadmium(II) or silver(I) nitrates. Crystal structure of the coordination polymers was determined using single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Silver formed two-dimensional coordination polymer [Ag(L)NO3]n, in which metal ions are linked by 1,3-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)adamantane ligands, coordinated by nitrogen atoms at positions 2 and 4 of 1,2,4-triazole rings. Layers of the coordination polymer consist of rare 18- and 30-membered {Ag2L2} and {Ag4L4} metallocycles. Cadmium(II) nitrate formed two kinds of one-dimensional coordination polymers depending on the metal-to-ligand ratio used in the synthesis. Coordination polymer [Cd(L)2(NO3)2]n was obtained in case of a 1:2 M:L ratio, while for M:L = 2:1 product {[Cd(L)(NO3)2(CH3OH)]·0.5CH3OH}n was isolated. All coordination polymers demonstrated ligand-centered emission near 450 nm upon excitation at 370 nm.

A new CoIIcomplex of diniconazole, namely diaqua[(E)-(RS)-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-2-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl-κN4)pent-1-en-3-ol]cobalt(II) dinitrate dihydrate, [Co(C15H17Cl2N3O)3(H2O)2](NO3)2·2H2O, was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystal structural analysis shows that the centrosymmetric CoIIcation is coordinated by four diniconazole ligands and two water molecules, forming a six-coordinated octahedral structure. There are also two free nitrate counter-anions and two additional solvent water molecules in the structure. Intermolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds link the complex cations into a one-dimensional chain. In addition, the antifungal activity of the complex againstBotryosphaeria ribis,Gibberella nicotiancola,Botryosphaeria berengrianaandAlternariasolaniwas studied. The results indicate that the complex shows a higher antifungal activity forBotryosphaeria ribisandBotryosphaeria berengrianathan diniconazole, but a lower antifungal activity forGibberella nicotiancolaandAlternariasolani.
