The simplified finite element modal was established with ANSYS aiming to study the spindle box. The changing regularity of the first 6-order natural frequency of spindle box was studied after the static and modal analysis. Shape optimization design was carried out by taking the maximum deformation of the direction of X,Y,Z as the objective function. The results show that the structure of spindle box after optimization can effectively reduce the maximum deformations of the direction of X,Y,Z,and has better static and dynamic characteristics.

In the process of modeling, ignoring the displacement of the pier directly replaced with fixed constraint, beam elements were adopted to simulate girder and pylon, and link elements were adopted to simulate the cable. The first ten order natural vibration mode and natural frequency were obtained, and the dynamic characteristics analysis of a single pylon cable-stayed bridge was discussed, which can provide certain reference and guidance for solving the problem of the cable-stayed bridge design.

The parameters of joint parts must be included in the finite element model of a whole grinding machine. The subject investigated in this paper is B2-K3000 high-precision composite flexible grinding machine. Through finite element modeling, the joint part parameters are integrated into the whole grinding machine model to establish a dynamic model and then analyze its static and dynamic characteristics. The result shows that the whole grinding machine possesses good features, but it still needs to be improved. This paper gives suggestions for its structure development and application.

The dynamic characteristic is one of the important indicators which determine the performance of a machine tool, in this paper, the finite element model of a plane grinder is established with consideration of the behavior of joint, the static dynamic characteristics of machine tools are analyzed to reveal the vibration weak link, the column structure is topology optimized and redesigned based on the variable density degradation method. Static and dynamic characteristics of the original and new column are compared, and the dynamic characteristics of the machine tool before and after modification are discussed. The results indicate that the static and dynamic characteristics of the plane grinder are all improved after optimization.

The column of heavy double turret five-axis horizontal milling complex machining center is taken as the object of study. Solidworks is used to establish three-dimensional model of milling machining center column, the established modal is be imported into ANSYS Workbench for static and dynamic characteristics analysis. First, by comparing the column deformation, the stress and strain under no-load and load conditions, which is concluded that column design is too conservative and be optimized. Secondly, the modal analysis was carried out on the column, which provides a theoretical basis for the optimization of the column by getting the first six natural frequencies and mode shapes of cloud.

In order to obtain good static and dynamic characteristics of the 2-DOF micro-positional stage, improved design of developed stage were done. First, the part of displacement coupling for the stage was improved, which making the stage only have linear displacement at driving direction; Second, in order to acquire the highest natural frequency under the condition of given output displacement, micro-positional stage was designed by using the size optimization method. Finally, the static and dynamic characteristics of the stage were analyzed by the finite element software ANSYS. The finite element results show that: the stage completely eliminates the displacement coupling after improving design; under the condition of given 30 μm output displacement, natural frequency reaches 1.86 kHz.

This paper resolved CNC turret punch cause vibration phenomenon in the course of processing sheet, analysis of its dynamic characteristics of the beam servo feed mechanism, using the method of constrained modal analysis.Through the establishment of finite element model exactly for the servo beam and setting the boundary elastic restraint stiffness, solving the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the servo beam under boundary constraints and loading conditions. Constraints modal analysis results are consistent with experimental monitoring results of CNC turret punch servo beam. This modeling methodology and results of the analysis has a high practical value for CNC turret punch dynamic characteristics analysis and structural optimization design.

This paper focuses on the static and dynamic characteristics of a high speed CNC lathe feeding system, which is analyzed by using the Finite Element Method (FEM). In this study, the location of the maximum stress and deformation is demonstrated and checked, natural frequency and corresponding vibration modes is extracted and analyzed respectively, and the way to build finite element model is simply conducted. Furthermore, vibration testing of the feeding system in X, Y, Z-Direction is carried out respectively, both the theoretical analysis and test results show good agreement with each other. Finally, some conclusions and reviews are made based on the analysis results, which provide some reliable basis for the reasonable operation and static and dynamic characteristics’ improvement for the feeding system.
