This paper introduces a technical improvement scheme for aviation engine ignition system, due to the reason that existing aircraft engine ignition system uses one machine type and each engine ignition system can not be interchangeable in present situation .It also presents a general ignition circuit structure and fast specialty setting method, both of which have been simulated by Multism software. And the results of simulation show that the airline engine general ignition system can meet the requirements of ignition technology parameters for all engines by setting quickly. The technology has significant influence in improving general use of airline engine spare parts, simplifying the engine maintenance system and increasing the warplanes attendance.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the optimization of machine maintenance which is applied by the company (companies), the problems that arise in the maintenance system, and the cost of both preventive maintenance and subsequent corrective maintenance activities, to determine the alternatives that is most optimal. The case study will be conducted in the PT Great Giant Pineapple by focusing the research on Ridger Palir machine. The selection will done in this machine, that is to say, considering terms of maintenance, and the high price of the spare parts. Based on the research results that have been done on PT Great Giant Pineapple, the engine maintenance activities, the general implementation of the engine maintenance, shows the company has been running pretty well, but not yet optimal. Out of the problems found in these, the author tried to find a solution by taking into account the cost efficient in carrying out maintenance and engine solutions to the problem of spare part procurement. Preventive maintenance system may be optimal for the efficiency of the company if the determination of the machine preventative maintenance period is predominant. Machine preventative maintenance period can be optimized with the average, that is, the average treatment which cab conducted once every 6 months. Keywords: maintenance, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance

Abstract The paper describes Zlin 143Lsi aircraft engine work parameters control support method – hourly fuel flow as a main factor under consideration. The method concerns project of aircraft throttle control support system with use of fuzzy logic (fuzzy inference). The primary purpose of the system is aircraft performance optimization, reducing flight cost at the same time and support proper aircraft engine maintenance. Matlab Software and Fuzzy Logic Toolbox were used in the project. Work of the system is presented with use of twenty test samples, five of them are presented graphically. In addition, system control surface, included in the paper, supports system all work range analysis.

In 2018, the Pavlodar petrochemical plant introduced a modern system of maintenance and repair, designed to modernize and improve the production process. A maintenance system consisting of subsystems allows: - organizing a system for managing the condition of the company fixed assets taking into account the current condition of the equipment; - receiving information about the performed maintenance, repair or replacement works, about reducing the risks of unplanned production downtime; - determining the feasibility of repairing or replacing equipment based on the total cost of maintenance; - establishing the validity of planning for the procurement of spare parts and materials for scheduled repairs; - reducing the risk of missing spare parts in case of emergency shutdown of equipment. The process of implementation and expansion of maintenance subsystems is ongoing. The Engineering Data Creation and Management (EDCM) system is being introducing using AVEVA solutions. The introducing and integration of EDCM is carried out with the IBM Maximo subsystem of the maintenance system based on a three-dimensional digital plant model, created in the AVEVA Everything 3D software. A brief description of the process of creating a three-dimensional model of an industrial enterprise, its connection with a maintenance system, as well as the transformation of surveying information through the lens of the development of digital transformation of surveying information when creating digital twins of industrial enterprises, using the example of creating a 3D model of PNHZ for an engineering data management system is given. As a result of the 3D modeling development in the framework of the widespread introduction of digitalization in manufacture, surveying works received a new launch for development. It should be noted that surveying measurements are the key to the success of a complex and multi-stage technological process for creating and operating a digital spatial twin or 3D plant model in a TOPO system.

This study was carried out to assess the impact and benefits of Total Productive Maintenance on manufacturing profitability awareness for Grand Cereals Ltd., Jos-Nigeria). The research objective is to assess the impact and benefits of TPM on manufacturing profitability of the company. Data relevant to the study were collected using designed questionnaire, structured interviews, direct observations and company records. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and Microsoft Excel were used in analysing the data obtained. The results show that the frequency of machine and equipment breakdowns is 58% often and 42% rarely. The research also reviewed that 84% of machine operators were not involved in maintenance activities with only 16% involvement. As regards to the effectiveness of the maintenance technique(s) used, 76% was rated good while 24% was rated fair. Cereal Mill Overall Plant Effectiveness (OPE) was obtained at 38% which was below the world class standard by almost 50%. Equipment downtime was a major cause of plant underutilization with 91% caused by shortage of critical spare parts and 9% shortage of raw materials. On TPM awareness, 80% of the employees have been aware of the TPM concept while 98% indicated the concept of TPM would help improve the current maintenance system and 2% were not sure.20% of the employees were not aware of TPM while 80% of employees indicated that the company does not implement TPM, with 20% not sure that the TPM concept can help improve the current maintenance system. Based on these results, knowledge and information sharing, operator involvement, engagement of all employees from top management to lower level and training should be considered. The effective implementation of TPM model could increase the competition of the company in the dynamic business environment. Thus, adoption and effective implementation of TPM is recommended for the company towards achieving improvement in its manufacturing profitability.

PT. Trijaya Teknik Karawang is a manufacturing company that produces spare parts, namely the piece pivot. The increased demand make the company parties need to analyze the ability to do the production to make it more effective and efficient in order to win the competition. Preliminary observations on the production floor they still present problems that are categorized as waste. Based on it, lean manufacturing Approach used to solve these problems. First of all the waste identified by mapping the flow of production using Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Then determined the dominant waste going through weighting waste using Waste Assesment Model (WAM) with the result that the inventory is the dominant waste. Next choose a detail mapping tools with Value Stream Analyze Tools (VALSAT) and determine the cause of waste inventory with fishbone diagrams that result, the causes of waste inventory is the breakdown of the machine, the operator of conduct material handling and less nimble, the distance between the machine and the system far, the production batch manufacture. Recommendations for improvements are the application of the system production of one-piece flow with investing buying transfer dies and adds to the human resources division maintenance. The identification of the problem causing factors of the dominant waste activity, namely waste inventory using Fishbone diagrams is lack of engine maintenance because it does not have a maintenance division and the production system used is batch manufacture that produces goods in lot size so that there are WIP parts in each production process.
