After analyzing requirements of the intelligent home system with wireless sensor on environmental monitoring, security alarm , the system are designed and implemented. The system can get the temperature and humidity of room, light intensity data, and provide a sound alarm. SMS(Short Messaging Service) alarm , automatic processing means are used in the system too. With the system, people can query and control the device in the home remotely. The system has provided user with more methods to interact with his home.

ensor nodes vulnerable becomes a major bottleneck restricting the wide application of wireless sensor networks WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks). In order to satisfy the needs of industrial production and daily living environment monitoring, it is important to improve the survivability of wireless sensor networks in environmental monitoring application. In order to have a reliable environment monitoring system, this paper analyzed the damage types and causes of WSNs and the measurement methods of WSNs survivability. Then, we studied the fault detection method and finally realized the design can improve the survivability of the scheme. The robust guarantee scheme through hardware design and algorithm model, realized the remote wireless communication services and prolonged the network life cycle, so as to improve the survivability of the environmental monitoring system.

An environmental monitoring system based on wireless sensor networks can monitor in real time of toxic gases which exist industrial emissions from the industrial field. It focuses on the hardware structure of the system, and some specific design was carried out against problems of high-temperature and uneven distribution of gas concentration in industrial field: by the redundant design of a single-node to solve the problem of uneven distribution; by adding semiconductor constant-temperature apparatus in the system to overcome the problem of high-temperature. Experimental results show that the system could meet the requirements of monitoring in real time of toxic gases in adverse industrial field. Consequently, it has a high practical value.
