In order to ensure the safe operation of ship power system, it is necessary to remove some lower priority loads when the generators output power is insufficient, which requires reasonable priority for each ship power system loads. According to the ship loads start-up time, starting current, power factor, harmonic factor and the rated power, the improved grey analytic hierarchy process was used to provide a basis for evaluation of reasonable, which can be used to set the priority of the loads and realize the reasonable distribution of power.

Establishing an accurate load model is a critical problem in power system modeling. That has significant meaning in power system digital simulation and dynamic security analysis. The synthesis load model (SLM) considers the impact of power distribution network and compensation capacitor, while randomness of power load is more precisely described by traction power system load model (TPSLM). On the basis of these two load models, a load modeling method that combines synthesis load with traction power load is proposed in this paper. This method uses analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to interact with two load models. Weight coefficients of two models can be calculated after formulating criteria and judgment matrixes and then establishing a synthesis model by weight coefficients. The effectiveness of the proposed method was examined through simulation. The results show that accurate load modeling based on AHP can effectively improve the accuracy of load model and prove the validity of this method.

Reasonable black-start scheme is of great significance to power system restoration. The entropy method and improved analytic hierarchy process algorithm are applied in evaluation indexes determination. Compared to the traditional algorithm, it takes into account the objectivity of reality and the subjectivity of human experience and adjusts both relative importance by a impact factor. It dose.t need the optimization calculations. At the same time, the fuzzy consistent matrix is applied to improve the traditional analytic hierarchy process, avoiding the consistence problems. Finally, compare the pros and cons of each program by calculating the comprehensive evaluation index to achieve the program’s full sort. The calculation process is simple, the efficiency is obviously improved and the availability of the method is validated through an example.

The vacuum of condenser is an important parameter in the operation of steam turbine, which has a great influence on the safe operation and regulation performance of the turbine. Since the influential factors of vacuum reduction of condenser are fuzzy and uncertain, the improved FAHP is used. By comparing every two of the influential factors, the fuzzy matrix is constructed. The weight index of influential factors of vacuum reduction of condenser in a certain power plant is calculated out quantitatively. The most important influential factor is found out. And there is a verification which exactly identifies the fault of the condenser by using a real instance.

This study develops a start-up business evaluation model for small and medium-sized firms using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The intention is to provide a feasibility test for start-up businesses by calculating the relative weights of the various success factors in new entrepreneurial firms, and thus to develop a methodology for measuring the Start-up Business Index (SBI). The paper focuses on determinants in the start-up process of successful businesses in the USA and Korea that are considered by the entrepreneurs as having been necessary factors in their success.

The scheduling of a hydrothermal power system needs to take into account multiple economic, social and environmental criteria, such as power production, flood protection and control, water supply for agricultural, industrial and domestic uses, navigation, water quality control, ecological environment protection, fishery, recreation, and pollutant emission control. In addition, determination of the scheduling must involve the participation of various stakeholders. Hence, this paper proposes a framework for multi-criteria evaluation of the scheduling of a hydrothermal power system based on group decision making using analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The AHP is used to select a balanced scheduling scheme out of a number of alternatives through performing pairwise comparisons according to judgments of the decision group members.
