Marion mathematics program. Educators in Marion, Indiana, are implementing a new mathematics curriculum for elementary schools that has helped bring about a fortypoint jump in mathematics scores of elementary school students in just two years. The curriculum emphasizes problem solving, and it includes the use of manipulatives and a specific pacing schedule.
