We analyzed the influence of magnetic component of the laser field on the tunneling yield, in a strong near-relativistic field for a squared hyperbolic secant pulse distribution. The obtained results indicate that the inclusion of the magnetic component is necessary in the observed regime.

AbstractAK Sco is an SB2 system formed by two nearly identical Herbig Ae stars, with Teff = 6500K and log g = 4.5, surrounded by a circumbinary disk. This actively accreting system is of special interest among the pre-main-sequence binaries because of its prominent ultraviolet excess and the high eccentricity of its orbit. Moreover, recent spectropolarimetric observations using HARPSpol indicate the presence of a weak magnetic field in the secondary component (Järvinen et al. 2018). An abundance analysis of both components has shown that all elements have a solar abundance in the two stars, except for Li and Ba. These elements are enhanced by 2.2 and 0.5 dex, respectively, in the A component and by 2.4 and 0.5 dex, respectively, in the B component.

A program is proposed to study numerically the correlation functions in massive integrable 2D relativistic field theories. It relies crucially on the exact form factors of fields which can be reconstructed from the factorized scattering data. The correlation functions are expressible as infinite sums over intermediate asymptotic states. We suggest using computer power to perform the summation numerically. The convergence of the sum is tested for the simplest example of the scaling Ising spin-spin correlations (without magnetic field).

ABSTRACTThis paper describes the synthesis of binary nanoparticles consisting of a noble metal and a magnetic component. These heterostructures were produced by a seeded-growth approach in aqueous solution. FePt nanoparticles, as the magnetic component, were first synthesized in an organic medium, subsequently transferred into water, and finally used as seeds for the growth of the noble metal Au. This procedure results in FePt-Au heterostructures. Moreover, the synthesized heterodimers were organized into mesoscopic lines under the influence of an externally applied magnetic field. The produced heterostructures were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV-vis spectroscopy.
