The present paper provides a comprehensive review of frameworks for Sustainable and Smart Cities. The key findings highlight the large gap between the concept of Smart Cities and Environmental Sustainability. We recommend to improve the sustainability quotient by incorporating the use of Information and Communication Technology, thus developing Sustainable Smart Cities. In India, the stipulated guidelines regarding Smart Cities have been proposed by Ministry of Urban Development (MOUD) and 14 environmental indicators have been proposed. The extensive review of literature and the present guidelines demands an urgent need of framework for Sustainable Smart Cities in India. Moreover, the indicators selected must fulfill the criteria for smartness and sustainability. The paper concludes by suggesting a framework comprising of four steps: Indicator selection, Benchmarking, Assigning weights and development of Sustainable Smart Cities Environmental Index by the use of selected indicators. The framework developed in this order ensures the Sustainable Smart Cities appear attainable in India.

The use of e-textile technologies spread out in the scientific research with several applications in both medical and nonmedical world. In particular, wearable technologies and miniature electronics devices were implemented and tested for medical research purposes. In this paper, a systematic review regarding the use of e-textile for clinical applications was conducted: the Scopus and Pubmed databases were investigate by considering research studies from 2010 to 2020. Overall, 262 papers were found, and 71 of them were included in the systematic review. Of the included studies, 63.4% focused on information and communication technology studies, while the other 36.6% focused on industrial bioengineering applications. Overall, 56.3% of the research was published as an article, while the remainder were conference papers. Papers included in the review were grouped by main aim into cardiological, muscular, physical medicine and orthopaedic, respiratory, and miscellaneous applications. The systematic review showed that there are several types of applications regarding e-textile in medicine and several devices were implemented as well; nevertheless, there is still a lack of validation studies on larger cohorts of subjects since the majority of the research only focuses on developing and testing the new device without considering a further extended validation.

The e-commerce industry in India is growing as fast, as booming, and as expanding at a larger rate. The concept of online shopping has attracted the Indian population tremendously. Exposure to information and communication technology has been highly instrumental in e-commerce success. After the development pertained to technology, science, and information, ICT has virtually become a companion in the life of people. In emerging economies like India, the majority ofInternet users are under the age of 35, a number that is significantly higher thanthat of the developed economies. This age group loves to shop and has grown as asignificant buying group that has crossed the number of 700 million internet consumers by 2020. The huge size of the customer base of the young generation has brought a significant revolution in all industries undoubtedly. The earning capability of this generation is also expected to makethe young generation an important consumer after they enter the workforce. The workforce analytics has also shown the proven data of usage of internet among youngsters and growing industries like logistics.  Togain long term success, online retailers must involve young consumers whoare technologically savvy and have significant purchasing power (Hanford, 2005).As Logistics ensures the movement of goods/services from one place to another place, the fulfillment of its main objective wholly lies on the technology which maps that the right product reaches the right person at the right time at the right place in the right condition and the right cost. Mobile devices working across the world proves this point.

The paper plans to study the job of Information Management (IM) utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in advanced education by leading writing survey and arrangement of articles from 2000 to 2012 so as to investigate how IM advances and applications have been created right now. The development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the most recent decade has opened new roads in Information Management that could assume significant jobs in meeting the overall provokes identified with sharing, trading and scattering information and advances in the advanced education. This paper gives an elevated level diagram of IM utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in advanced education. A basic examination is finished by considering endeavors made by experts to actualize IM utilizing ICT in advanced education.

This paper studies whether and how information and communication technology (ICT) changes self-construal and cultural values in a developing country. Ethiopian children were given laptops in the context of an ICT for development scheme. We compared children who used laptops (n = 69) with a control group without laptops (n = 76) and a second control group of children whose laptop had broken down (n = 24). Results confirmed that after 1 year of laptop usage, the children’s self-concept had become more independent and children endorsed individualist values more strongly. Interestingly, the impact of laptop usage on cultural values was mediated by self-construal (moderated mediation). Importantly, modernization did not “crowd out” traditional culture: ICT usage was not associated with a reduction in traditional expressions (interdependent self-construal, collectivist values). Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
