Monitoring the variation of the loading blades is fundamental due to its importance in the behavior of the wind turbine system. Blade performance can be affected by different loads that alter energy conversion efficiency and cause potential safety hazards. An example of this is icing on the blades. Therefore, the main objective of this work is to propose a proportional digital controller capable of detecting load variations in wind turbine blades together with a fault detection method. An experimental platform is then built to experimentally validate the main contribution of the article. This platform employs an automotive throttle device as a blade system emulator of a wind turbine pitch system. In addition, a statistical fault detection algorithm is established based on the point change methodology. Experimental data support our approach.

A digital controller for exact command tracking control without integration is derived from a periodic series. The ratios of adjacent values will be converged to unities after the output has tracked the reference input command. Integration in control loop usually introduces phase lag to slow command response and degrade performance.

In the last years, many researches have proposed concerning the motion control and position regulation for manipulators. Motion control has important applications in many areas, for example industrial robotics. In this paper control system based on digital controller for the position control of robotic arm manipulator are build. The proposed control system was simulated on a robot manipulator driven by permanent magnet dc motors. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the control approach.

This paper proposes a control strategy active power filter under non-ideal main voltages. The P-Q Theory is used to generate three-phase active power filter reference currents, but the P-Q Theory has a weakness when implemented under non ideal main voltages. This paper proposes a reference current generation method using modified P-Q Theory under non-ideal main voltages conditions. Before calculating the P-Q Theory, the non-ideal voltage at the source is normalized by using PLL to determine the phase angle which is then carried out by generating an ideal three-phase signal. The proposed method is simulated and implemented in a three-phase active power filter controller. The test results show the improvement in the performance of the P-Q Theory under non ideal main voltages with THD 7.21% to THD 3.29%.
