AVO (amplitude variation with offset) inversion and neural networks are widely used to invert elastic parameters. With more constraints from well log data, neural network-based inversion may estimate elastic parameters with greater precision and resolution than traditional AVO inversion, however, neural network approaches necessitate a massive number of reliable training samples. Furthermore, because the lack of low-frequency information in seismic gathers leads to multiple solutions of the inverse problem, both inversions rely heavily on proper low-frequency initial models. To mitigate the dependence of inversions on accurate training samples and initial models, we propose solving inverse problems with the recently developed invertible neural networks (INNs). Unlike conventional neural networks, which address the ambiguous inverse issues directly, INNs learn definite forward modeling and use additional latent variables to increase the uniqueness of solutions. Motivated by the newly developed neural networks, we propose an INN-based AVO inversion method, which can reliably invert low to medium frequency velocities and densities with randomly generated easy-to-access datasets rather than trustworthy training samples or well-prepared initial models. Tests on synthetic and field data show that our method is feasible, anti-noise capable, and practicable.

The article investigates three main types of small antennas (electric, magnetic and magnetoelectric) of the medium frequency range in order to determine the features of their operation in mines, i.e. in dispersing media. The impedance characteristics and the change in the frequency dependences of the standing wave ratio are considered when the situation in the near zone changes. An assessment of the stability of the operation of portable radio stations at an input power of 1 W has been carried out, taking into account the time characteristic of communication sessions. Recommendations for the operation of antennas in mines are given.

Design is a synonym of project. This work aimed, based on the meaning of the word and the recognition that the term currently has on Brasilian market, to identify which ones, and how much are used the traditional project management techniques and methods disseminated by the PMI in design projects. For this, a questionnaire was applied to professionals in the area, inserted in several sectors such as interiors and products design. It was concluded that although these techniques and methods are used, they have a medium frequency in the projects and there was a tendency where it is customary to plan the use of the techniques rather than follow their development in the projects, which may indicate a point for action for project managers in the area.

AbstractIt is critical for the health monitoring of large-scale structures such as bridge, railway and tunnel to acquire the medium-frequency and high-frequency vibration signals. To solve the problems of low sensitivity and poor transverse anti-interference of the medium-frequency and high-frequency fiber acceleration sensor, a hinge-type Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG) acceleration sensor based on double elastic plate has been proposed, and the hinge and elastic plate are used as elastomer to realize the miniaturization and transverse interference suppression of the sensor. The MATLAB and the ANSYS are used for theoretical analysis and optimization of sensor sensitivity and resonance frequency, structural static stress analysis and modal simulation analysis, while the test system is built to test the sensor performance. The results show that the resonance frequency of the sensor is 1300 Hz; the sensor has a flat sensitivity response in the middle-high frequency band of 200–800 Hz; the sensitivity is about 20 pm/g, and the fiber central wavelength drift and acceleration have good linearity and stability, while the transverse anti-interference is about 3.16%, which provides a new idea for monitoring of medium-frequency and high-frequency vibration signals in large-scale structures.
