The utilization of Indonesia's electricity consumption every year continues to increase in line with national economic growth. This situation is a general description of every developing country, where the supply of electricity is not the fulfillment of the real needs of the whole but rather the ability to generate and distribute electricity to the community. Indonesia has a target to provide lighting or electricity to all citizens by 2020 or an electrification ratio of 100%, and by 2019, the government said the realization of the electrification ratio had reached 98.89%. This means that we have almost reached our target. To achieve this ambitious target, efforts have been made, including developing electricity infrastructure, such as solar power plants, to the 3T (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost) areas using the Special Allocation Fund (SAF). The existence of a smart home (smart home) allows users to remotely control parts of the house and set a schedule for activated smart home devices to help control costs and save more energy while providing added convenience and save time. So that it can save household electricity consumption and save energy. Mobile-based smart home efficiency modeling, based on temperature sensors, human movement, and light intensity sensors using a mobile-based microcontroller to help save electricity use and reduce global warming. By carrying out this research, it can facilitate community activities in controlling automation in smart homes to save electrical energy and reduce global warming. The Hardware Programming method is an approach method for designing the tools used.

The purpose of this study is to reveal the views of fourth-grade primary school students about mobile programming education. Data were collected by using interviews, metaphor and student drawings under the qualitative research method. Amongst the 135 students who participated in the mobile programming education, 24 fourth-grade primary school students, who were selected via the purposeful sampling method, took part in the study. Content analysis was used to analyse the data collected through the semi-structured interview form. The drawings of the students which reflected what the mobile programming education meant for them were evaluated through document analysis. As a result, it can be said that mobile programming education contributes positively to students' mobile programming, scientific and creative thinking skills and social skills. It is recommended to use MIT App Inventor in programming education for primary school students.   Keywords: Mobile programming; mobile programming education; MIT app inventor; information technology; primary school students.

Salary is remuneration received by workers in the form of money based on a certain time. Processing employee salary data is very important for companies to appreciate their employees who are already working. The payroll process for employees at CV Agung Glass currently uses Ms. Excel, this causes several errors that often occur in the salary calculation process. As a growing company, CV Agung Glass needs a data processing application that can assist in processing employee payroll data quickly, precisely, and thoroughly. The method used in this payroll system is the iteration method, which is an application design method by sequencing the steps in designing the application, then repeating it if there are errors or developments for the application. The programming language used to make this payroll application is hybrid programming for mobile by combining two different programming languages, namely mobile programming using Android Studio and web programming using PHP.

As a result of discussions about the studies on Science, Technology, and Society (STS) we identified the need to understand how to promote discussions about those subjects on mobile programming learning. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how to introduce subjects that are relevant to society’s problems in a discipline with a high technical focus. Therefore, the present work contains an informative approach and becomes a possible subsidy to aid teachers who wish to establish, in their mobile programming classes, STS discussions. The suggestions here documented characterize themselves as resources for a probable improvement of the critical thinking, civil conduct of the students and also raise discussions and reflections among students and future professionals about the current reality, leading to imminent educational changes.
