In positive characteristic the Jordan plane covers a finite-dimensional Nichols algebra that was described by Cibils et al. and we call the restricted Jordan plane. In this paper, the characteristic is odd. The defining relations of the Drinfeld double of the restricted Jordan plane are presented and its simple modules are determined. A Hopf algebra that deserves the name of double of the Jordan plane is introduced and various quantum Frobenius maps are described. The finite-dimensional pre-Nichols algebras intermediate between the Jordan plane and its restricted version are classified. The defining relations of the graded dual of the Jordan plane are given.

Let H be a finite dimensional C∗-Hopf algebra and A the observable algebra of Hopf spin models. For some coaction of the Drinfeld double D(H) on A, the crossed product A⋊D(H)^ can define the field algebra F of Hopf spin models. In the paper, we study C∗-basic construction for the inclusion A⊆F on Hopf spin models. To achieve this, we define the action α:D(H)×F→F, and then construct the resulting crossed product F⋊D(H), which is isomorphic A⊗End(D(H)^). Furthermore, we prove that the C∗-basic construction for A⊆F is consistent to F⋊D(H), which yields that the C∗-basic constructions for the inclusion A⊆F is independent of the choice of the coaction of D(H) on A.

Abstract Following the recently obtained complete classification of quantum-deformed $$ \mathfrak{o} $$ o (4), $$ \mathfrak{o} $$ o (1, 3) and $$ \mathfrak{o} $$ o (2) algebras, characterized by classical r-matrices, we study their inhomogeneous D = 3 quantum IW contractions (i.e. the limit of vanishing cosmological constant), with Euclidean or Lorentzian signature. Subsequently, we compare our results with the complete list of D = 3 inhomogeneous Euclidean and D = 3 Poincaré quantum deformations obtained by P. Stachura. It turns out that the IW contractions allow us to recover all Stachura deformations. We further discuss the applicability of our results in the models of 3D quantum gravity in the Chern-Simons formulation (both with and with- out the cosmological constant), where it is known that the relevant quantum deformations should satisfy the Fock-Rosly conditions. The latter deformations in part of the cases are associated with the Drinfeld double structures, which also have been recently investigated in detail.

Abstract As is well known, cluster transformations in cluster structures of geometric type are often modeled on determinant identities, such as short Plücker relations, Desnanot–Jacobi identities, and their generalizations. We present a construction that plays a similar role in a description of generalized cluster transformations and discuss its applications to generalized cluster structures in $GL_n$ compatible with a certain subclass of Belavin–Drinfeld Poisson–Lie brackets, in the Drinfeld double of $GL_n$, and in spaces of periodic difference operators.
