Cross-network anchor link discovery is an important research problem and has many applications in heterogeneous social network. Existing schemes of cross-network anchor link discovery can provide reasonable link discovery results, but the quality of these results depends on the features of the platform. Therefore, there is no theoretical guarantee to the stability. This article employs user embedding feature to model the relationship between cross-platform accounts, that is, the more similar the user embedding features are, the more similar the two accounts are. The similarity of user embedding features is determined by the distance of the user features in the latent space. Based on the user embedding features, this article proposes an embedding representation-based method Con&Net(Content and Network) to solve cross-network anchor link discovery problem. Con&Net combines the user’s profile features, user-generated content (UGC) features, and user’s social structure features to measure the similarity of two user accounts. Con&Net first trains the user’s profile features to get profile embedding. Then it trains the network structure of the nodes to get structure embedding. It connects the two features through vector concatenating, and calculates the cosine similarity of the vector based on the embedding vector. This cosine similarity is used to measure the similarity of the user accounts. Finally, Con&Net predicts the link based on similarity for account pairs across the two networks. A large number of experiments in Sina Weibo and Twitter networks show that the proposed method Con&Net is better than state-of-the-art method. The area under the curve (AUC) value of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve predicted by the anchor link is 11% higher than the baseline method, and Precision@30 is 25% higher than the baseline method.

Shapefile).

Geospatial linked data are an emerging domain, with growing interest in research and the industry. There is an increasing number of publicly available geospatial linked data resources, which can also be interlinked and easily integrated with private and industrial linked data on the web. The present paper introduces Geo-L, a system for the discovery of RDF spatial links based on topological relations. Experiments show that the proposed system improves state-of-the-art spatial linking processes in terms of mapping time and accuracy, as well as concerning resources retrieval efficiency and robustness.

The hybrid software-defined networks (SDN) architectures are beneficial for a smooth transition and less costly SDN deployment. However, legacy switches and SDN switches coexistence brings new challenges of deployment inconsistency management and security. Security is not well studied for hybrid SDN architecture. In this paper, we study the topology poisoning attacks in hybrid SDN for the first time. We propose new attack vectors for link fabrication in hybrid SDN. The new attack is named “multi-hop link fabrication”, in which an adversary successfully injects a fake multi-hop link (MHL) by exploiting the link discovery protocols. We presented the Hybrid-Shield, a link verification framework for hybrid SDN link discovery. Hybrid-Shield introduces a novel verification technique that includes: i) monitoring legacy switch and host generated traffic at MHL and ii) validating the existence of legacy switches contained in an MHL. This paper presents the prototype implementation of Hybrid-Shield over a real SDN controller. The experimental evaluation is performed with the mininet virtual network emulation. Our evaluation shows that Hybrid-Shield is capable of detecting MHL fabrication attacks in real-time with high accuracy. Hybrid-Shield’s performance evaluation shows that it is lightweight at the controller as it causes less overhead and requires no additional functionalities at the SDN controller for deployment.

The increasing availability of linked data poses new challenges for the identification and retrieval of the most appropriate data sources that meet user needs. Recent dataset catalogs and recommenders provide advanced methods that facilitate linked data search, but none exploits the spatial characteristics of datasets. In this paper, we present GeoLOD, a web catalog of spatial datasets and classes and a recommender for spatial datasets and classes possibly relevant for link discovery processes. GeoLOD Catalog parses, maintains and generates metadata about datasets and classes provided by SPARQL endpoints that contain georeferenced point instances. It offers text and map-based search functionality and dataset descriptions in GeoVoID, a spatial dataset metadata template that extends VoID. GeoLOD Recommender pre-computes and maintains, for all identified spatial classes in the Web of Data (WoD), ranked lists of classes relevant for link discovery. In addition, the on-the-fly Recommender allows users to define an uncatalogued SPARQL endpoint, a GeoJSON or a Shapefile and get class recommendations in real time. Furthermore, generated recommendations can be automatically exported in SILK and LIMES configuration files in order to be used for a link discovery task. In the results, we provide statistics about the status and potential connectivity of spatial datasets in the WoD, we assess the applicability of the recommender, and we present the outcome of a system usability study. GeoLOD is the first catalog that targets both linked data experts and geographic information systems professionals, exploits geographical characteristics of datasets and provides an exhaustive list of WoD spatial datasets and classes along with class recommendations for link discovery.
