Post-transplant diabetes is a frequent complication after transplantation. Moreover, patients suffering from post-transplant diabetes have increased cardiovascular morbidity and reduced survival. Pathogenesis mainly involves beta-cell dysfunction in presence of insulin resistance. Both pre- and post-transplant risk factors are well-described, and some of them may be corrected or prevented. However, the frequency of post-transplant diabetes has not decreased in recent years. We realized a critical appraisal of preventive measures to reduce post-transplant diabetes.

Background: Information and Communication Technology is advancing rapidly and has a major impact on all life, especially in the health sector, especially medical records. This is manifested in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), which has now been further developed into an Electronic Health Record (EHR). This technology is used to replace or complement paper medical records. The purpose of this literature study is to determine the readiness to apply electronic medical records in health services. Methods: This study uses a literature study obtained from searching scientific research articles from the 2010–2020 range. Keywords used in this study is readiness and DOQ-IT. The database used comes from Google Sholar, Garuda, Neliti, and One Search. The search found 130 articles, then a critical appraisal process was carried out to produce 10 suitable manuscripts. Results: Various literatures found that the readiness to apply electronic medical records using the DOQ-IT method was influencedby 4 factors including the readiness of human resources, orgnizational culture, insfrastructure, and leadership governance. It can be concluded that the readiness for the application of  electronic medical recors in health services with the very ready category is 30%, the moderately ready category is 50%, then the unready category is 20%.Conclusions: From the discussion above, it can be concluded that EMR readiness in health services is categorized as quite ready (50%), very ready (30%), and not ready (20%).

Protection of patients' rights is critical in improving healthcare quality, and hence this study aimed at reviewing patient rights’ practices in healthcare organizations of Iran. Using systematic search, this review was conducted based on Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocols (PRISMA-P). Several keywords, including "patient rights", "patient bills of rights" and "patients rights’ charter" were searched bilingually in the databases of SID, Magiran, PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science from 2010 to 2021, and then, following a three-tier screening using the Critical Appraisal Skills Program (CASP) checklists, 76 articles were extracted. The degree of compliance with the Patients' Rights Charter (PRC) in healthcare organizations was 60.88% on average. As to the observance of the PRC dimensions, respectively, the highest and lowest scores were related to the "right to privacy and confidentiality" (70.16%) and "right to access an efficient complaining system" (53.01 %). Respect for patients' rights in organizations was assessed at a moderate level, and some aspects of patients' rights should be attended to immediately. Therefore, discrepancies in the dimensions of patients' rights and their implementation by organizations should be on the agenda of healthcare managers and policymakers.

OBJETIVO: IDENTIFICAR AS EVIDENCIAS CIENTÍFICAS SOBRE O SARC-F COMO INSTRUMENTO NA IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE SARCOPENIA, NA LITERATURA NACIONAL E INTERNACIONAL. MÉTODOS: TRATA-SE DE UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA DA LITERATURA. FORAM INCLUÍDOS OS ARTIGOS ORIGINAIS, DISPONÍVEIS ELETRONICAMENTE, PUBLICADO DESDE SEU SURGIMENTO EM 2013, EM IDIOMAS PORTUGUÊS, ESPANHOL OU INGLÊS COM PRÉ-IDOSOS A PARTIR DE 50 ANOS. A BUSCA DOS ARTIGOS FOI REALIZADA UTILIZANDO OS DESCRITORES “SCREENING”E SARCOPENIA”NAS BASES DE DADOS LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF, SCOPUS E PUBMED. PARA ANÁLISE CRÍTICA DOS ARTIGOS PRÉ-SELECIONADOS, FORAM APLICADOS DOIS INSTRUMENTOS: CRITICAL APPRAISAL SKILL PROGRAMME (CASP) E AGENCY FOR HEALTHCARE AND RESEARCH AND QUALITY (AHRQ). RESULTADOS: FORAM ENCONTRADOS 16 ESTUDOS, NACIONAIS E INTERNACIONAIS,A MAIORIA NO CONTINENTE ASIÁTICO (CHINA, HONG KONG, JAPÃO, TAIWAN E SINGAPURA), ALÉM DA AMÉRICA (ESTADOS UNIDOS, MÉXICO E BRASIL) E EUROPA (ALEMANHA E FRANÇA). EM RELAÇÃO AO PROPÓSITO DO ESTUDO SETE, (43,8%) FORAM DE VALIDAÇÃO (BRASIL, FRANÇA, JAPÃO, MÉXICO, HONG KONG, ESTADOS UNIDOS E TAIWAN). DISCUSSÃO: É UM INSTRUMENTO RECENTE DE AVALIAÇÃO DE SARCOPENIA UTILIZADO EM DIVERSOS PAÍSES COM ADAPTAÇÕES E VALIDAÇÕES CONFERINDO AO SARC-F UMA VANTAJOSA CARACTERÍSTICA DE COMPARABILIDADE INTERNACIONAL. A MAIORIA DOS ESTUDOS DE VALIDAÇÃO DEMONSTRARAM ALTA ESPECIFICIDADE DO INSTRUMENTO FRENTE AOS CONSENSOS, EMBORA A SENSIBILIDADE TENHA SIDO BAIXA, QUANDO O SARC-F FOI ASSOCIADO À CIRCUNFERÊNCIA DE PANTURRILHA A SENSIBILIDADE FOI AUMENTADA. CONCLUSÃO: O INSTRUMENTO SARC-F MOSTROU-SE EFICAZ NA PROPOSTA DE REALIZAR A TRIAGEM DE SARCOPENIA EM IDOSOS. ALÉM DISSO, É PRÁTICO, RÁPIDO, E BAIXO CUSTO E ACESSÍVEL PRINCIPALMENTE PARA SERVIÇOS PÚBLICOS DE SAÚDE.
