This study seeks to identify possible key barriers in the supply chain of the Indian steel industry. Each of these hindrances has a significance in serving the store network and refining the economy of India. The study is a mix of theoretical and useful structures, which would zero in on those critical barriers in the steel supply chain. It includes a theoretical examination of the barriers in the Indian steel industry and ranking of these barriers using multicriteria methods, that is, analytical hierarchical process (AHP) and fuzzy analytical hierarchical process (FAHP) approaches. The main finding is the identification of key barriers in the Indian steel industry supply chain and prioritizing them according to the severity of their impact. Eleven potential key barriers have been considered in the study for analysis. There can be more barriers in the Indian steel industry. This study exposes the application of both methods, that is, AHP and FAHP, for ranking identified barriers.

It is evident that the separate examination of the concepts of happiness and goodness offers various approaches. Thus, scrutinizing them together would further widen the range of possibilities. The phrase “happiness as goodness” means that we can at least examine happiness as the manifestation of goodness. Goodness is a pedagogical category which, above all, expresses a superior virtue. The problem here is that pedagogy as a social science has remained fully indifferent to the theoretical examination of goodness. This particular study states that goodness is the primary motivating force of education and the other way around, as well as the innermost world of education and maybe the deepest and most wonderful content of it. The virtue of goodness presupposes the eminence of the heart and soul.

This article provides a theoretical contribution to the contemporary debates regarding the legitimacy and effects of supplementary tutoring, also known as shadow education. Shadow education is notably pervasive in South Korea, and accounting for high rates of domestic expenditure and increasing time demands on young people’s lives.  The paper traces the historical and cultural reasons for the widespread uptake of shadow education amongst young students in the South Korean context and problematises what it means to be educated by juxtaposing leading scholars’ perceptions of the fundamental aims of education. Delving into the reality of shadow education whilst also revealing the disruptive nature of this common place practice, the paper concludes by highlighting the need for further empirical research to counterbalance the largely unsubstantiated beliefs and anecdotal evidence regarding its purposes
