The main purpose of this research is to map the academic contribution of social finance to the discussion in the field of Islamic finance. An analysis of 788 contributions published in international academic journals, books review and chapters, editorial material and proceedings papers has been done using the bibliometric method. The findings show that there are a number of journals that have had a higher production on the topic with an impact on research and, furthermore, it emerges that the works of the most relevant authors are made with qualitative methods that have been the most used to demonstrate the link between Islamic finance and social finance. The analysis also shows that the relation between Islamic finance and social finance is linked, among the others, to the words PERFORMANCE, IMPACT RISK, OWNERSHIP, CORPORATE SOCIAL-RESPONSIBILITY, MANAGEMENT, BEHAVIOR and EFFICIENCY, demonstrating that there is also a link with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It has also been observed the keyword evolution through the years which proved a dramatic increase on the academic attention to the topic particularly in the last five years. Research limitations/implications – The paper’s main limitation is due to the adoption of the bibliometric method because the databases include only part of the scientific papers and not all world’s sources. However, WOS database, the one adopted for the research, is the world’s most complete index even though it is not complete at all. On the other hand, to have a wider landscape of knowledge on the field of research, they have been considered all kind of sources: papers published in international and academic journals, books chapters and reviews, editorial materials and proceedings papers. The implications for academics, institutions, banks, enterprises and customers seem to be very relevant because it is assumed that a lot of work on the field must be done to strengthen the practical relation between Islamic finance and social finance. Originality/value – This research highlights the increasing relation, from an academic point of view, between Islamic finance and social finance has increased in the last 21 years, especially in the last 5. According to the literature, social finance is a relevant aspect in the present academic discussion on Islamic finance. For these reasons, to map the researches that have been done in this field, the study analyzes the relationship between Islamic finance and social finance.

Background: Citation analysis is a type of quantitative and bibliometric analytic method designed to rank papers based on their citation counts. Over the last few decades, the research on dyslexia has made some progress which helps us to assess this disease, but a citation analysis on dyslexia that reflects these advances is lacking. Methods: A retrospective bibliometric analysis was performed using the Web of Science Core Collection database. The 100 top-cited studies on dyslexia were retrieved after reviewing abstracts or full-texts to May 20th, 2021. Data from the 100 top-cited studies were subsequently extracted and analyzed. Results: The 100 top-cited studies on dyslexia were cited between 245 to 1,456 times, with a median citation count of 345. These studies were published in 50 different journals, with the “Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America” having published the most (n = 10). The studies were published between 1973 and 2012 and the most prolific year in terms of number of publications was 2000. Eleven countries contributed to the 100 top-cited studies, and nearly 75% articles were either from the USA (n = 53) or United Kingdom (n = 21). Eighteen researchers published at least two different studies of the 100 top-cited list as the first author. Furthermore, 71 studies were published as an original research article, 28 studies were review articles, and one study was published as an editorial material. Finally, “Psychology” was the most frequent study category. Conclusions: This analysis provides a better understanding on dyslexia and may help doctors, researchers, and stakeholders to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of classic studies, new discoveries, and trends regarding this research field, thus promoting ideas for future investigation.

The aim of this work is to provide, through a bibliometric analysis of the last 30 years of thematic literature, an overview on the contribution of social enterprises to the achievement of global goals.A bibliometric method has been used to analyze the characteristics, citation patterns and content of 3318 documents published in international academic journals, books review and chapters, editorial material and proceedings papers.Considering our findings, the bibliometric analysis has shown that there are journals that have had a greater production on the topic with an impact on research. Thanks to the work of the most impactful authors, it emerges that the case study is the most used method to demonstrate the centrality of social enterprises in social innovation. The analysis also shows that the centrality of the themes is linked to innovation, impact, management and performance, demonstrating the assumption that the driver of innovation in terms of social impact is given by these types of companies. The research also shows the keyword evolution through the years.Through the coding activity, it has also been possible to demonstrate that by transposing the global sustainability objectives to the local that the more in-depth ones are addressed on the issues of sustainable economy and fair, responsible and sustainable innovation, while there is much shortcoming regarding the achievement of gender equality, sustainable water management but even more on the reduction of inequality between nations. The latter is probably conditioned by the more global target and therefore not easily approachable to social enterprises.Research limitations/implications – The study shows a limitation, related to the adoption of the bibliometric method. However, it considers books review, chapters, papers published in international and academic journals, editorial materials, reviews and proceedings papers.Originality/value – This research shows that the interest on SDG and social enterprises has grown continuously in the last 30 years, especially in the last 5. The literature puts social enterprises at the center of social innovation by focusing on performance and management issues. Therefore, with the intention of mapping the studies that have been done in this regard, the study analyzed how research on local development coherence for global development has been addressed.

The study analyses the Brain Tumors research Publications in during 2009 to 2018 based on the Web of Science database. The objectives of the study were to perform a scientometric analysis of all brain tumors research publications by scientist. The criterion studies include an increase of publication, document wise distribution of records country-wise distribution of publications, recognition of the most prolific authors, praise highly journals and extremely motivated institutions and language wise distribution of publications. The results showed that 44604 of records were published in of records were published in the world. All most productive countries and their publications top 30 countries was top most contributed 10 places of India on Brian tumors research with 1613 (2.54%) records. Most of the articles were published in the form of articles, review, meeting abstracts, and editorial material. USA was the most productive country on Brain tumors. The study also found that only 21 authors were contributed above 100 numbers of articles and the author Wang Y with 246 publications has occupied the first position. The University Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre was topmost top most contributed institution on Brain Tumors research with 782 records.
