ERP or Enterprise Resource Planning is a design that has been applied in an educational institution or company that can be used to organize, coordinate and manage the system resources in it to be more integrated. The refusal of system users to use the ERP system (new system) is one of the failure factors for ERP system implementation that should be considered by higher education companies. User's lack of understanding by users can cause users to simply be forced to use without being adapted to a qualified use of the ERP system. In addition to the importance of the ERP implementation process in a company or university, there is also an influence on the system's user experience as the key to the success of ERP implementation to minimize failures in the ERP system process.          This study uses the User Experience Questionnaire Framework to analyze, measure and find out significantly how much influence the user experience level has on the PeopleSoft Oracle Campus Solution ERP system using the six aspects contained in the framework UEQ on the modules Student Record, Academic Advisement, and Student Financial in the respective departments at UMN. The research was conducted quantitatively, namely the collection and collection of data to be carried out through the distribution of questionnaires online and carried out using SPSS software.   The results of the measurement level obtained based on the mean and benchmark data user experience from the six UEQ scales from the highest to the lowest value level are  Dependability is in the category (Excellent), Stimulation is in the category (Excellent), Novelty is in the category (Excellent), Perspicuity category is in the category (Good), Attractiveness is in the category (Good), and Efficiency is in the category (Good) and partially or completely can have a significant 61% influence on the use of modules in the ERP system at UMN.    Keywords: ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire), Quantitative, SPSS.

This chapter presents a template developed for a facilitating seminar program for candidates seeking to become docents. The processes of planning, implementing, and evaluating the offered program are described. Dilemmas associated with academic advisement and other participatory dilemmas, as well as management’s choices and institutional embeddedness, are also discussed. The implemented seminar program is a pioneer project. Thus, it is encouraging that both the participants and management assessed the project so positively.

School counselors are often called upon to develop and implement academic interventions. In this case study of one urban elementary school, a school counselor conducted a small group academic advisement intervention. The results suggest that integrating the activities into the elementary school counseling program can be an effective Response to Intervention (RTI) component that advances academic achievement and improves attendance and discipline issues. This article presents the impact of the intervention on student and parent attitudes toward school and future success and shares implications for school counselors.

Although international research regarding advising is burgeoning, most of the research on the role of and advantages related to academic advising has been limited to U.S. colleges and universities. This ethnographic case study conducted at a Liberian university examined the organizational culture of advising from student, faculty, and staff perspectives after the establishment of the Student Academic Advisement and Career Counseling Center. The findings suggest two primary elements that shape the role of advising and college student experience: postwar challenges in Liberian higher education and the shifting perspective on student centeredness. As a result, these elements have redefined the preliminary role of the advising center into a concept referred to as the advising palaver hut.

In 1979, Robert Greenleaf published Teacher as Servant. This novel actively portrays Greenleaf's concept of servant leadership by describing the extracurricular work of a university professor. Consequently, some scholars have demonstrated the relevance of servant leadership to classroom instruction (Powers & Moore, 2005). However, it was not as an instructor, but as an advisor that the fictional Mr. Billings engaged in servant leadership and deeply transformed his students' lives. By explaining the philosophy and practice of servant leadership, I demonstrate how it can contribute to the theory and practice of academic advising. The characteristics of servant leadership are discussed as a theoretical-philosophical construct relevant to academic advisement. Relative Emphasis: theory, practice, research
