Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa tentang penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui Program Konseling Pondok Pesantren Mahir Arriyadl di Keling Kepung Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti mendapatkan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Tahap-tahap penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini berupa: (1) Penerapan Penguatan Pendidikan karakter melalui program konseling di Pondok Pesantren Mahir Arriyadl Keling Kepung Kediri dilatarbelakangi oleh rasa tanggung jawab pondok dalam melaksanakan secara langsung kepada para santri tentang materi-materi yang sudah diajarkan terutama adap tingkah laku melalui program konseling, serta penerapan tata tertib pondok pesantren menjadikan para santri menjadi terbiasa dengan peraturan yang ada di pondok (2) Aktualisasi penguatan pendidikan karakter dilakukan dengan pendekatan berbasis individu, keluarga, pondok, dan masyarakat dalam satu kesatuanyang utuh dan saling terkait (3) Upaya strategis pondok pesantren dalam meningkatkan program penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui program konseling yaitu menjadikan pendidikan karakter bagian dari kurikulum, pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, menyatukan visi sumber daya manusia.[This study aims to analyze the strengthening of character education through the Mahir Arriyadl Islamic Boarding School Counseling Program in Keling Kepung Kediri. This study uses a qualitative approach. Researchers get data using interviews, observation, and documentation. The research stages include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study are: (1) The application of strengthening character education through a counseling program at the Pondok Pesantren Mahir Arriyadl Keling Kepung Kediri is motivated by the sense of responsibility of the cottage in implementing directly to the students about the materials that have been taught, especially behavior through the counseling program. , as well as the application of boarding school rules and regulations to make students familiar with the existing regulations in the boarding school (2) Actualization of strengthening character education is carried out with an individual, family, cottage, and community-based approach in a unified and interrelated unit (3) Strategic efforts Islamic boarding schools in improving character education strengthening programs through counseling programs, namely making character education part of the curriculum, fulfilling adequate facilities and infrastructure, unifying the vision of human resources.]

Kesehatan remaja saat pandemik ini kurang mendapat perhatian, baik karena sistem pembelajaran yang sudah berubah. Siswa dan siswi cenderung untuk melakukan pembelajaran melalui online di rumah yang membuat keterbatasan gerak setiap harinya. Dampak dari hal tersebut salah satunya adalah pada Kesehatan reproduksi remaja putri khususnya adalah dysmenore atau nyeri saat menstruasi meningkat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah pencegahan dan menurunkan intensitas nyeri, diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup para remaja putri di SMA Negeri I Singkawang. Melakukan program dengan pendampingan senam dysmenore melalui pelajaran Kesehatan jasmani atau olah raga selama satu bulan. Kegiatan diawali dengan penyuluhan Kesehatan reproduksi kepada remaja putri 63 siswi dan pendampingan melakukan senam dymenore minimal dua kali sebelum menstruasi berikutnya. Hasil pendampingan didapatkan dari 63 siswi, tingkat pengetahuan naik 80% dan penurunan tingkat nyeri sebelum dan setelah melakukan senam mayoritas berada pada skala nyeri ringan 68%. Pendampingan senam dysmenore bisa menjadi pilihan bagi para guru olah raga SMA dalam meningkatkan Kesehatan reproduksi remaja putri khususnya tentang dysmenore.   Kata kunci : senam dysmenore, tingkat nyeri, remaja   Abstract Adolescent health during pandemic is less attention, either because a learning system that has changed. The students tend to do learning online in limited activities for activity daily living. The impact of this, one is on reproductive healthcare adolescent girls especially dysmenorrhea or pain during menstruation was increased. The purpose of this activity is prevention and sent down, the intensity of pain needed to improve the quality of life the adolescent girls in government high school I at Singkawang. With assistance program through a lesson gymnastic dysmenorrhea health both physical or sporting during one month blended with sport subject at school. Counseling program was held about reproductive health to adolescent girls. Respondents 63 adolescent gilrs have pain during menstruation and given assistance do gymnastics at least twice before the next menstruation. The result shows that the knowledge getting up 80 % and decreasing level of pain before and after the majority, have mild pain 68% after intervention. Counselling program for the dysmenorrhea gymnastics is effective to improve of the quality of reproduction health in adolescents.     Key words: dysmenorrhea gymnastic, level of pain, adolescent.

This study examined student, parent, and faculty perceptions of academic development needs and related comprehensive school counseling program services from four urban middle and high schools. Participants ( n = 1,032) completed a survey designed to assist schools in planning and evaluating their career and college readiness programs, and exploring perceived student support needs. Statistically significant differences were observed in stakeholder perceptions among 12 identified interventions that support improved academic development, through factorial analysis of variance (ANOVA) and pairwise comparisons analysis. Findings provide valuable information about prioritizing student academic counseling services strategically and effectively, to meet program needs of students in high-poverty schools.

School counselors are essential staff in an education setting, contributing to student success by delivering critical services when implementing a comprehensive school counseling program. The study examined the predictive relationships of school counselors’ level of grit and mindset with their activities performed in programmatic service delivery. This novel study contributed to the expansion of grit and mindset predictive relationship with school counselor’s activities performed in a comprehensive counseling program. Practical implications were discussed, and further research is warranted to identify other factors that are predictive of counselor’s job activities in a comprehensive school counseling program.

Recently the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Program (CACREP) broad granted many graduate counselor education programs eight or more year accreditation. In order for these institutions to have been awarded its accreditation, eight core counseling areas should have been addressed in their program or university alike. For counselor education programs to enter the 21st century, technology and media devices should be embraced in all of the eight core counseling areas. The chapter examines the usefulness and effectiveness of enhanced-technology and media devices of five of the eight core counseling areas for advancement and improvement of effective skills for counselors-in-training (CIT). University web-base and audio/video media devices were the common enhanced-technology devices used among five of the core counseling areas. In addition, the school counseling program technologies were also examined. Finally, implications for counselor education are provided.

This chapter outlines the evolution of a Master of School Counseling Program from a traditional in-person model to an asynchronous online program with an integrated field experience component. It utilizes a case study approach to how this transition occurred with an overview of the process and strategies used for the program course redesign presented. The primary goal of the redesign efforts was to sustain efficient student instructor engagement in an online setting while training aspiring school counselors for the complex 21st century educational settings. This chapter also includes a brief literature review of best practices, rubrics used for program development, progress monitoring, and program assessment. Additionally, descriptive data that is presented illustrates the perspectives of adjunct faculty and students in regard to teaching effectiveness, student engagement and satisfaction in an asynchronous fast paced online program.

School counselors are urged to create systemic change within a school system by working as an advocate, leader, and collaborator within the school. Each of these roles requires a school counselor to be skilled in micropolitics and micropolitical literacy. This article explores the main concepts of micropolitical theory and its application to the school counseling profession. We also discuss the limitations and implications of this position.
