In November 2018, CEPC CDR was announced and since then, CEPC accelerator entered TDR phase towards its planned completion at the end of 2022. In this paper, we give status review of CEPC optimization design, hardware TDR R&D progresses, CEPC-SppC compatibility relation, civil engineering design, site selection, CIPC and international collaborations, etc. CEPC plan is also presented.

Three-way decisions, as a general model for uncertain information processing and decisions, mainly utilize the threshold generated by the decision cost matrix to determine the decision category of the object. However, the determination of the threshold is usually accompanied by varying degrees of subjectivity. In addition, the potential symmetrical relationship between the advantages and disadvantages of the decision cost is also a problem worthy of attention. In this study, we propose a novel intuitionistic fuzzy three-way decision (IFTWD) model based on a three-way granular computing method. First, we present the calculation methods for the possibility of membership state and non-membership state, as well as prove the related properties. Furthermore, we investigate the object information granules, i.e., the fine-grained, medium-grained, and coarse-grained objects, by combining the state probability distribution and probability distribution. Then, for decision and evaluation issues, we define the superiority-compatibility relation and inferiority-compatibility relation for IFTWD model construction. In addition, we use the superiority degree and inferiority degree instead of the original thresholds and design a new method for evaluating decision cost. Finally, we focus on the algorithm research of the proposed model and present an empirical study of agricultural ecological investment in Hubei Province to demonstrate the effectiveness of our model.

We investigate how the category of comodules of bimonads can be made into a monoidal category. It suffices that the monad and comonad in question are bimonads, with some extra compatibility relation. On a monoidal category of comodules of bimonads, we construct a braiding and get the necessary and sufficient conditions making it a braided monoidal category. As an application, we consider the category of comodules of corings and the category of entwined modules.

This chapter develops a conception of the public justification of the moral rules that are the object of social trust. The goal is to explain how complying with moral rules and abiding by our personal values and commitments are compatible. When this compatibility relation is established, a system of social trust can sustain itself in the right way by driving appropriately trusting and trustworthy behavior, and motivating holding the untrustworthy accountable. When moral rules are publicly justified, that is, justified for each person by her own lights, the compatibility relation obtains and moral rules can then form the basis for trust and trustworthiness and so sustain a social system with a high degree of justified social trust-moral peace. The chapter explains precisely what is to be justified, the kinds of reasons that constitute public justifications, and how public justification is rooted in moral peace and social trust.

Research in combinatorics on words goes back a century. Berstel and Boasson introduced the partial words in the context of gene comparison. Alignment of two genes can be viewed as a construction of two partial words that are said to be compatible. In this paper, we examine to which extent the fundamental properties of partial words such as compatbility and conjugacy remain true for partial arrays. This paper studies a relaxation of the compatibility relation calledk-compability. It also studiesk-conjugacy of partial arrays.
