DIAGNOSTICS OF THE LEVEL OF DIGITAL PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE OF SOCIO-CULTURAL MASTER’S DEGREE STUDENTS

Данная статья посвящена актуальной проблеме - диагностике уровня цифровой педагогической компетенции магистрантов социокультурного направления. Обеспечение усвоения магистрантами цифровых педагогических компетенций является необходимым для их дальнейшей успешной деятельности, ведь для магистерской ступени образования характерно получение более углубленных знаний, включающих организацию учебного процесса и управления им с помощью цифровых средств, создание и использование цифровых ресурсов, владение нормативно-правовой базой использования цифровых средств и т. д. Диагностика уровня цифровой педагогической компетенции дает представление о профессиональной подготовке обучающегося и позволяет в случае необходимости, оперативно скорректировать процесс обучения. Тем не менее, на данный момент в научной литературе не представлено единой методики диагностики цифровой педагогической компетенции. This article is devoted to the acute problem of diagnosis of the level of digital pedagogical competence of socio-cultural master’s degree students. Ensuring the assimilation of digital pedagogical competencies by master’s degree students is necessary for their further successful activity, because the master's degree education is characterized by obtaining more in-depth knowledge that affects the organization of the educational process and its management using digital means, creation and use of digital resources, knowledge of the regulatory framework for the use of digital means, and so on. Diagnostics of the level of digital pedagogical competence gives an idea of the professional training of the student and allows, if necessary, to quickly adjust the learning process. However, at the moment, the scientific literature does not present a single methodology for diagnosing digital pedagogical competence.

Компьютерная этика и её восприятие белорусской студенческой молодежью на примере ГГТУ имени П.О. Сухого

This article discusses the specifics of “the computer ethics” content and the features of the student youth perception of this phenomenon. Special emphasis is placed on the history and provisions of computer ethics. The analyses refers to the results of the poll carried out among the students and master’s degree students of Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel.

Increasing service quality at a university: a continuous improvement project

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to evaluate a continuous improvement project (CIP) at a Mexican university designed to increase engineering graduate student loyalty. Design/methodology/approach A plan-do-check-act problem-solving methodology was implemented, and a SERVQUAL survey was conducted on 67 master’s engineering students. Findings Five factors were found to affect student loyalty: facility cleanliness; faculty teaching skills; evening student services; master’s degree student management roles at work; and master’s degree students’ ages. After the implementation of the improvement and control actions, there was a 7.7% increase in the engineering master’s degree students’ loyalty scores. Research limitations/implications However, there were several research limitations: data availability (such as student loyalty, student satisfaction and a small master’s degree student population size) and factors outside the CIP’s scope (such as the country’s economic situation, university rankings, master’s programme accreditations and COVID-19). Practical implications The findings from this research study could be used by other higher education institutions (HEIs)to improve student loyalty and as a reference when conducting similar studies in other service organisations such as hospitals and hotels. Originality/value This research work took a different approach in assessing student satisfaction and student loyalty in a HEI by using the SERVQUAL survey as the data collection instrument for conducting CIP.

Pedagogical Conditions of Effective Training of Master Degree Students

Today, Ukraine is on the verge of implementing reform changes aimed at improving the functioning of educational institutions, educational environment, working and learning conditions, etc. To this end, public authorities have adopted a number of legal documents that provide for the content and basic conceptual framework for the implementation of European integration standards. Every higher education institution must implicitly respond to these changes, as its mission should be to improve conditions within and outside the educational environment in relation to all participants of the educational process. In fulfilling its unique mission, each institution of higher education should have its own strategic vision for the development of the entire institution and individual specialties, which takes into account the individual peculiarities and needs of students and research-teaching staff. In order to form the current competences of the graduate of the relevant specialty, the higher education institution must constantly review the objectives and program learning outcomes, which will further affect the competitiveness of the student in the labour market. Each specialty must be in constant motion, development, systemic improvement. Particular attention in this process should be paid to the specialty 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences, as their graduates are future teachers of higher education institutions, which in the near future will influence the development processes of the future professionals in various fields. Therefore, the objective of the article is to highlight the optimal conditions that should be created by a higher education institution in the system of training of master’s degree students. To achieve it, theoretical (analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalisation) and practical (questionnaire, observation, conversation) methods have been used. In order to make the research objective and determine the needs of students, we conducted a survey, which showed not only the interest of students in the processes of development of the educational institution, but also allowed us to identify those factors that are the most appropriate for students in improving the quality of educational services. Taking into account the needs of students, we have proposed organisational and pedagogical conditions, the introduction of which will improve the quality of training of master’s degree students majoring in 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences.
