Picture fuzzy sets, which are the extension of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, can deal with inconsistent information better in practical applications. A distance measure is an important mathematical tool to calculate the difference degree between picture fuzzy sets. Although some distance measures of picture fuzzy sets have been constructed, there are some unreasonable and counterintuitive cases. The main reason is that the existing distance measures do not or seldom consider the refusal degree of picture fuzzy sets. In order to solve these unreasonable and counterintuitive cases, in this paper, we propose a dynamic distance measure of picture fuzzy sets based on a picture fuzzy point operator. Through a numerical comparison and multi-criteria decision-making problems, we show that the proposed distance measure is reasonable and effective.

AbstractThe aim of this paper is to introduce generalized Suzuki type F-contraction fuzzy mappings and to prove the existence of fixed fuzzy points for such mappings in the setup of complete ordered metric spaces. An example is provided to show the validity of our results, followed by couple of remarks about the comparison of obtained results with the existing results in the literature. An application of our result to the domain of words is also presented.

In a lattice 𝔏, the authors used the concept of belongingness and quasi-coincidence of fuzzy point to a fuzzy set, and by this notion, (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy sublattice, (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy ideal, cartesian product of (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy sublattice, (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy complemented sublattice, and cartesian product of (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy complemented sublattice are introduced, and their properties are briefly studied. The relationship between fuzzy sublattice and (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy sublattice, fuzzy ideal and (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy ideal of L are established. The authors prove that the cartesian product of two (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy ideals of a lattice is not necessarily a fuzzy ideal of a lattice. The theory of image and inverse image of an (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy sublattice and (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy ideal, an (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy complemented sublattice, and (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy complemented ideal of 𝔏 on the basis of homomorphism of lattices are also significantly established.

The authors studied the notion of (α,β)-intuitionistic fuzzy BCK/BCI-subalgebras by applying the Lukasiewicz 3-valued implication operator, where α,β∈{∈,q,∈∧q,∈∨q} for α≠∈∧q. In this chapter, an intuitionistic fuzzy set A is an (∈,∈) (or (∈∧q,∈) or (∈,∈∨q))-intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebras if and only if for any p∈(0,1] (or p∈(0,0.5] or p∈(0.5,1]), then Ap is a fuzzy subalgebras of X respectively. Next, the authors defined intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebras with thresholds (s,t) and then provided intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebras with thresholds (0,1) (or (0,0.5) or (0.5,1)) by the concept of quasi-coincidence of fuzzy point respectively. Also, A is an intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebras with thresholds (s,t) if and only if for any p∈(s,t], then cut set A_p is a fuzzy subalgebras.

Present research paper, deals with a new method for solving multi-criteria decision-making problems, in an environment where conflict of interest exits. In this present paper we have defined the Mediative fuzzy point operators. By using Mediative fuzzy logic and Mediative fuzzy point operators we have established some new generalized mathematical results of Intuitionistic fuzzy logic theory in the form of Mediative fuzzy logic theory. Second, we have applied these results to multi-criteria for making it into Mediative multi-criteria for decision support system where multiple alternatives and various criteria’s exits. Numerical examples have also been carried out to prove the effectiveness and advantages of this paper.

In the concrete implementation of the fuzzy vault algorithm, the geometric hash method is a common technique for automatic calibration of biometric templates. For the fuzzy problem of parameter acquisition, the matching accuracy of fuzzy vault template is affected in the three parameters: the pixel size, hash table and hash table quantization parameters ([Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]). The single factor experiment method obtains the optimal range of these three parameters, and the extraction range of the fuzzy point and the selection rule of the base point distance are improved for the fuzzy vault algorithm. Finally, based on the FVC fingerprint database, their matching precision is compared for the algorithm before and after optimization. The experimental results show that the false rejection rate (FRR) of the optimized algorithm is reduced by at least 9.84%, and the false acceptance rate (FAR) is reduced by at least 7.12%, indicating that the optimization scheme improves the matching accuracy of the algorithm. The algorithm has certain robustness and practicability.

In this article we construct a fuzzy topology on a non-empty set X called mixed semi-pre fuzzy topology from two given fuzzy topological spaces on X with the help of fuzzy semi-prequasi-neighborhood of a fuzzy point.
