Many factors need to be considered during the choice of strengthening scheme for arch bridges, and most factors are fuzzy. The reasonable and scientific strengthening scheme is an important precondition to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the strengthening engineering. The elementary objects of the bridges strengthening are effect reliability, economic reasonability, technological feasibility, and convenience of construction, which are used to appraise the strengthening scheme. Based on the basic objective of bridge strengthening, two levels fuzzy comprehensive appraisal index system of strengthening scheme are established, and the best scheme is chosen. Combining the idiographic example of arch bridge reinforcement, the process of fuzzy analytic hierarchy and optimum result is given. The result tests that fuzzy analytic hierarchy method is feasible during the preferred selection on strengthening schemes of arch bridge.

Offshore wind power is expected to increase significantly in the near future. This document use the method combined the SWOT and fuzzy comprehensive appraisal to analyze China’s offshore wind industry competitiveness. Firstly, perform qualitative analysis by SWOT and then use fuzzy comprehensive appraisal to transfer qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis for a more objective and accurate evaluation. The final evaluation results show that China’s offshore wind industry is competitive. And China should actively and steadily promote the development of offshore wind industry while should pay attention to draw experience and lessons from onshore wind power.

Based on the theories of fuzzy set and fuzzy conversion, the method of fuzzy comprehensive appraisal is a decision-making process which combines qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis and can be used to forecast risk of electric power engineering projects. Using the method of AHP to establish risk early-warning indicators system and method of fuzzy comprehensive appraisal to establish risk early-warning model, the paper constitutes risk early-warning system of electric power engineering projects. A case from western China is applied to prove the validity of the risk early-warning system.

Studied was the basic principle and method of applying fuzzy mathematics to the appraisal of building reforming. Multilevel appraisal index system of building reforming was set up. The process and method of fuzzy comprehensive appraisal method were given. An example was used to explain the application deeply. The method can use for homologous project.
