Molecular marker technology is used widely in plant variety discrimination, molecular breeding, and other fields. To lower the cost of testing and improve the efficiency of data analysis, molecular marker screening is very important. Screening usually involves two phases: the first to control loci quality and the second to reduce loci quantity. To reduce loci quantity, an appraisal index that is very sensitive to a specific scenario is necessary to select loci combinations. In this study, we focused on loci combination screening for plant variety discrimination. A loci combination appraisal index, variety discrimination power (VDP), is proposed, and three statistical methods, probability-based VDP (P-VDP), comparison-based VDP (C-VDP), and ratio-based VDP (R-VDP), are described and compared. The results using the simulated data showed that VDP was sensitive to statistical populations with convergence toward the same variety, and the total probability of discrimination power (TDP) method was effective only for partial populations. R-VDP was more sensitive to statistical populations with convergence toward various varieties than P-VDP and C-VDP, which both had the same sensitivity; TDP was not sensitive at all. With the real data, R-VDP values for sorghum, wheat, maize and rice data begin to show downward tendency when the number of loci is 20, 7, 100, 100 respectively, while in the case of P-VDP and C-VDP (which have the same results), the number is 6, 4, 9, 19 respectively and in the case of TDP, the number is 6, 4, 4, 11 respectively. For the variety threshold setting, R-VDP values of loci combinations with different numbers of loci responded evenly to different thresholds. C-VDP values responded unevenly to different thresholds, and the extent of the response increased as the number of loci decreased. All the methods gave underestimations when data were missing, with systematic errors for TDP, C-VDP, and R-VDP going from smallest to biggest. We concluded that VDP was a better loci combination appraisal index than TDP for plant variety discrimination and the three VDP methods have different applications. We developed the software called VDPtools, which can calculate the values of TDP, P-VDP, C-VDP, and R-VDP. VDPtools is publicly available athttps://github.com/caurwx1/VDPtools.git.

Tuntutan global saat ini yang senantiasa meneriakkan kelestarian atau produksi yang berkelanjutan sudah tidak dapat dihindari lagi, termasuk juga didalam pengelolaan perkebunan kelapa sawit khususnya kemitraan pola inti-plasma, yang harus segera dicari solusi atau pendekatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai indeks dan status keberlanjutan pengelolaan perkebunan kelapa sawit pola inti-plasma di PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi yang berkelanjutan dari dimensi ekologi, ekonomi, sosial- budaya, teknologi-infrastruktur, dan hukum-kelembagaan, serta mengidentifikasi atribut yang sensitif terhadap keberlanjutan pengelolaan perkebunan kelapa sawit pola inti inti-plasma di PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi. Analisis keberlanjutan dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan Multi Dimensional Scaling (MDS) dengan teknik kelapa sawit Rap-Insus (Rapid Appraisal Index Sustainability of palm oil management). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status keberlanjutan pengelolaan perkebunan kelapa sawit pola inti-plasma di PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah yang berdasarkan atas 5 dimensi dinyatakan  cukup berkelanjutan dengan indeks keberlanjutan multidimensi sebesar 53,18, dimana dimensi yang cukup berkelanjutan ada 3 dimensi yaitu ekologi, ekonomi, dan sosial-budaya, sedangkan 2 dimensi lainnya yaitu teknologi-infrastruktur dan hukum-kelembagaan berada pada status kurang berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit, Pengelolaan Inti-Plasma, Multidimensi,AnalisisKeberlanjutan

Terumbu karang merupakan salah satu ekosistem penting di wilayah pesisir. Terumbu karang memiliki nilai penting bagi masyarakat pesisir dan keberadaannya sangat rentan terhadap gangguan baik yang berasal dari alam maupun kegiatan antropogenik. Penetapan suatu perairan menjadi kawasan konservasi sangat penting untuk melindungi terumbu karang dari eksploitasi berlebihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kondisi tutupan karang dan status keberlanjutan ekosistem terumbu karang di Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Daerah (KKPD) Pulo Pasi Gusung, Selayar. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi bagi pemerintah daerah dalam penentuan kebijakan terkait pengelolaan yang lebih baik untuk meningkatkan pengawasan terhadap ekosistem terumbu karang di KKPD Pulo Pasi Gusung. Pengambilan data tutupan karang menggunakan metode line intercept transect (LIT) pada kedalaman 3 meter dan 10 meter. Status keberlanjutan terumbu karang dianalisis menggunakan metode Multi Dimensional Scaling (MDS) dengan tehnik Rap Insus COREMAG (Rapid Appraisal-Index Sustainability of Coral Reef Management) dengan membandingkan pengelolaan sebelum terbentuknya KKPD (Tahun 2010) dan setelah terbentuknya KKPD (Tahun 2015). Penilaian dilakukan terhadap 5 dimensi yaitu dimensi ekologi, ekonomi, sosial budaya, teknologi dan infrastruktur serta dimensi hukum dan kelembagaan. Hasil analisis dari 5 dimensi dalam penilaian status keberlanjutan terumbu karang di Pulau Pasi setelah terbentuknya KKPD rata-rata mengalami peningkatan indeks berkelanjutan dibandingkan sebelum terbentuknya KKPD.

The decision support system of employee performance index appraisal is a decision support system that can assist decision makers for employee performance appraisal at the Pringsewu district revenue department. As for the purpose of this DSS namely 1. To make decisions in the field of human resources to come, 2. To evaluate the performance of each employee in achieving the target work that has been determined , 3. For improve employee performance in the future. The problems to be solved are: 1. How to change the assessment process that used to still use manual way by computerization. 2. How to apply the progress of change in today's sophisticated technology. In this decision system using Weighted Product (WP) weighting method of WP method is the choice of method on decision support system of employee performance appraisal index at revenue department of Pringsewu district. Weighted product method is a method of completion by using multiplication to attribute attribute rating in which rating must be prefixed with bob ot attribute in question. This decision support system can perform the process of calculating employee performance appraisal so that it can realize a fair assessment based on existing criteria calculations on this system using weighted product weighting (WP) that can produce the best employee performance appraisal system calculation from the highest value of 0.250 to the lowest value of 0.133 . The highest score is the best employee while the lowest score is the worst employee performance. This system can present employee performance appraisal reports quickly and clearly so that more effective and efficient.

Mantang  Besar and Mantang Kecil islands contain marine resources that can be developed for ma-rine tourism activities. For the above purpose, a study is needed to assess the potential of the islands. The objectives of this study were: (1) to analyze the sustainability potential of marine tourism on Man-tang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands and (2) to determine the policy and strategy to develop marine tourism in Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands. Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) with Rapid Appraisal Index Sustainability of Ecotourism approach was used for the sustainability analysis of the marine tourism potential in both islands. The results showed that the sustainability status of marine tourism potential on Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands for A dimension (ecology) was in ave-rage of 50.4592 within the category of sustainable, for B dimension (socio-economic) with average of 31.6113 within the category of less sustainable, and C dimension (institutional-technology) with ave-rage of 32.5581 wihtin the category of less sustainable. For the succes of the strategy development, B dimension should be prioritized and followed by B and C dimensions.                                                                                   Keywords: MCA, marine tourism development strategy, Anambas islands
