The Russian agro-industrial sector under the influence of stress factors

The paper considers the problems of dynamics of agro-industrial sector in Russia and the tendencies of its functioning in the contemporary context. The specific features of the country agrarian sphere, advantages and disadvantages of raw-material and agricultural orientation of the Russian economy are studied. It is emphasized that the agrarian sector is basic for the country development; the achievements in the field of providing the agrarian sphere with agricultural means of production are pointed out. Simultaneously, it is stressed that adaptation of the agricultural market to new conditions is connected with the factors of irresistible force influencing not only the national economy but also the whole world economy. The survival potential under the given conditions is connected, on the one hand, with the efforts of national producers, and, on the other hand, it directly depends on the transformation of financial relations and economic interrelations of the world community countries.

Zmiany wartości zużytych nawozów i środków ochrony roślin w krajach Unii Europejskiej w latach 2010-2018

Currently, agricultural means of production are of great importance in agribusiness, in particular mineral fertilizers and chemical plant protection products. The article attempts to present and compare changes in the value of used fertilizers and plant protection products in European Union countries in 2010-2018. Changes in the value of used fertilizers and plant protection products per 1 ha of UAA and changes in the share of these means of production in intermediate consumption were examined. It was found that the value of used fertilizers and plant protection products per 1 ha of UAA increased on average in the EU. Their share in intermediate consumption also increased. As a result of grouping objects using the Ward method, 4 clusters of countries were obtained, which differed in terms of the proposed features, while the countries that created the given cluster were characterized by similar values of variables. The countries where both a clear increase in the value of used fertilizers and plant protection products per unit area as well as a significant increase in their value in intermediate consumption were observed: Lithuania, Bulgaria and Estonia. However, a decline in demand for the discussed means of production occurred in Belgium, Croatia, Slovenia, Denmark, Finland and Portugal.

A model combining a Bayesian network with a modified genetic algorithm for green supplier selection

With the advancement of agricultural modernization, many suppliers of agricultural means of production have delivery delay problems and have created environmental pollution and other issues, which affect the coordination and overall efficiency of the agricultural supply chain. Focusing on the green suppliers, this paper puts forward a series of evaluation indexes and considers the influence of environmental performance for performing uncertainty event reasoning based on a Bayesian network – establishing a complete selection and evaluation system for retail enterprises and downstream customers. In addition, an improved genetic algorithm is combined with the Bayesian approach to quantify the evaluation indicators, which solves the problems of the traditional methods of information occlusion and an unreasonable selection scheme, and provides an intelligent and efficient selection of green suppliers.

Study on Construction of Strategic Alliances of Procuring Agricultural Means of Production

The three styles of procuring agricultural means of production were compared to explain the theoretical basis to build the strategic alliance. And related indicators ,for example purchasing price, quantity and the total profit are compared in different relationship between agricultural means suppliers and farmers by building mathematical model .In the end, it is concluded that if the farmers form horizontal alliances, and then, form strategic alliances with suppliers, the system’s related total profit is the most. Owing to construction of strategic alliances, not only the profits of suppliers can increase, the costs of famers also reduce.
