The establishment of the prestressed cable loss prediction model is a difficult problem faced by the popularization and use. This article aims at the problem of the loss of anchor cable prestress over time in the soil-rock dual-structure slope. We relied on the soil-rock dual-structure slope treatment project of section K5 + 220-K5 + 770 of Jiangwen Expressway and monitored the prestress loss of the anchor cable in the slope through the anchor cable meter with built-in vibrating wire sensor. Using regression analysis and segmented modelling methods, we established a comprehensive mathematical improvement model, analyzed the applicability of the improved model, and obtained the error range, 0.04%–8.9%. This work offers a new approach for predicting anchor cable prestress loss, which has certain practical value for the use of prestressed anchor cables.

The obese Zucker rat (OZR) manifests multiple risk factors for impaired cerebrovascular function, including hypertension and insulin resistance although how they combine to produce integrated vascular function is unclear. As studies have suggested that myogenic activation (MA) severity for middle cerebral arteries (MCAs) may be proportional to hypertension severity, we hypothesized that MA will negatively correlate with dilator reactivity in OZR. MA of MCA from OZR was divided into low, medium, and high based on the slope of MA, while MCA reactivity and vascular metabolite bioavailability were assessed in all groups. Endothelium-dependent dilation of MCA in OZR was attenuated and correlated with the MA slope. Treatment of OZR MCA with TEMPOL (antioxidant) improved dilation in low or medium MA groups, but had less impact on high MA. Alternatively, treatment with gadolinium to normalize MA in OZR had reduced impact on dilator reactivity in MCA from low and medium MA groups, but improved responses in the high group. Treatment with both agents resulted in dilator responses that were comparable across all groups. These results suggest that, under conditions with stronger MA, endothelial function may receive some protection despite the environment, potentially from the ability of MCA to reduce wall tension despite increased pressure.

Slope greening is an important part of road engineering construction. Its main purpose is to improve the ecological environment on the side of the road and improve its ability to resist geological disasters.The engineering features of this paper are long road engineering, large area of slope treatment. It analyzes the technical difficulties in the construction of slope greening project, such as large excavation depth, more stone slopes along the road, serious exfoliation of external soil and less nutrients in the soil. In view of the above technical difficulties, the key construction techniques such as excavation and filling slope construction, external soil direct seeding, spray seeding of external soil with hanging net, slope maintenance, combination of skeleton protection and plant slope protection are studied. It ensured the quality of the project and provided reference for the construction of related projects.

Crop types and tillage measures on slopes have significant impacts on regional water and soil conservation. In this study, we investigated the influences of multiple crop types and tillage measures on water and sediment yields based on plot-scale experiments under artificial rainfall. The objective of the study is to find the best combination of crop type and tillage measure from the perspective of reducing soil erosion. We performed artificial rainfall experiments under eight slope treatments, which are the bare-land (BL, as a reference), peanut monoculture (PL), corn monoculture (CL), bare land (upper slope) mixed with peanut monoculture (lower slope) (BP), corn and peanut intercropping (TCP), corn and soybean intercropping (TCS), downslope ridge cultivation (BS) slope, and straw-mulched (SC), respectively. Under similar rainfall intensity and initial soil moisture conditions, these treatments except for BS efficiently reduced sediment yield compared to the BL slope. In comparison, the most effective slope treatment to reduce soil erosion is TCP, followed by PL and TCS. The amount of sediment yielded from the three treatments accounts for 0.4%, 2.0%, and 3.3% of the sediment yielded from BL. We recommend the three slope treatments as the preferred choices among eight treatments. Also, the lower sediment yield in the three slope treatments benefits from their higher vegetation coverage. Vegetation coverage plays a greater role in regulating sediment yield than the surface runoff at a plot scale.

The development of mining activities had destructed and occupied a large amount of land resource, the ecological recovery has become one of the urgent problems of current world especially in China. Mine reclamation can revivify the utilization function of mining land, protect the farming land and renovate the ecologic environment. Zhu Ma-dian has rich mineral resources, part of the mine resources dried up after many years of mining activities, the reclamation of the closed mine pits and abandoned mine land is very urgent. This paper briefly introduces the use city sewage sludge to reclamation of the closed mine pits and abandoned mine land and treat high slope.
