Modeling heterogeneous streams of events processed in automated control system makes it possible to assess its potential capabilities, to quantify the likelihood of critical situations in which it is impossible to organize automated control. The heterogeneity of streams of events is considered in three aspects. First, for processing events of various types, operators of an automated system require a different amount of resources, primarily temporary. Second, the streams of events differ significantly in intensity, and the sample of intensity values for different types of events is non-Gaussian. Thirdly, a complex, difficult to formalize mechanism of mutual influence is observed between the streams of events. For a comprehensive account of these aspects, a model of events heterogeneous by types is considered, built on the game of placing rank automata. Two rules for resolving controversial strategies in the placement game are proposed: the priority of the action of the first and the maximum match.

Abstract The paper discusses the basic principles of X-ray luminescent separation of diamond ores as an automation object and analyzes modern technical solutions and basic organizational and technical issues, the solution to which will contribute to the effective implementation of automated control systems in separation. The complex automation systems of processing plants (ore mills) are described. The process and principle of operation of the X-ray luminescent separator of diamond ores are described. It is expedient to automate the X-ray luminescent separation using an automated control system. The issues of designing an automated control system with a human-machine interface are considered. An APCS system and an interface of the automated operator-technologist workstation, upgraded through implementing RSLogix 5000 and FactoryTalk View production management software are described.

Abstract The relevance of the studied and solved problem lies, on the one hand, in the possibility of automated control of your home devices, and on the other, in the absence of unified control systems for a smart home as a project. The latter thesis implies the actual absence of such an automated control system among the existing and sold ready-made solutions, which could be expanded by the user himself, that is, by the buyer. In this regard, there is a need to improve and develop our own product in this area. This approach will allow you to combine both the creation of your own working prototype of a smart home, and your own implementation of the automated control system, which will allow each user to refine, modify and implement new devices independently in an already assembled system based on his house or apartment. This article presents the main aspects of the design and software solution used. The software implementation is performed in the JetBrains PhpStorm development environment in PHP, Apache web server, MySQL DBMS.

Abstract The reduction of vessel crew counts and increased automation have been observed in marine and river vessels for several decades. These processes are based, firstly, on the development of modern technology and, secondly, on the urge to reduce the so-called human factor, which is recognized today as one of the key causes of water transport emergencies. It is expected that unmanned navigation will help reduce operational costs, increase the carrying capacity of vessels, and reduce the impact of the human factor on the safety of navigation. This, in its turn, requires the development of a reliable and safe automated control system for unmanned vessels. This article aims to assess the development prospects of unmanned navigation based on the structural analysis of such systems. In the first part of this article, the authors review the classification of control systems depending on the degree of vessel autonomy and the generalized structure of the unmanned vessel control system. In the second part, the authors review the control system structure for a remote-control unmanned vessel and that for an autonomous unmanned vessel.

This work deals with the provision of underground, as one of the main modes of public transport, with automated control systems, in particular the provision of automated train management. It defines that the underground is one of the most progressive modes of transport, which is related to its environmental safety, comfort, and speed of movement, as this mode of transport does not intersect with other transport and pedestrian routes, which excludes traffic blocks. Underground is an important element of urbanized spaces, for it serves large passenger traffic. The article presents an algorithm for the creation of an automated control system for the underground train system. Based on this algorithm, a model of building an organizational and economic mechanism for automation of control systems has been developed. The diagram of organizational and technical implementation of the automated system of underground train management is presented. An economic analysis of the effectiveness of the application of the automated control system of underground trains was carried out. The recoupment on the acquisition and installation of automation systems is very high. The application of the automated system will increase the capacity of the underground by optimizing the traffic schedules, which will contribute to increasing its profitability. It is also useful to determine the reduction of electricity consumption due to the change in the dynamics of acceleration and braking systems, which is important, as the underground is a powerful enterprise. In the future, a promising direction is to streamline the coordination of train schedules and other modes of land public transport.

The article provides an analysis of typical and unique defects and damages of crane beams, which is a continuation of the series of articles by the authors about defects and damages of industrial buildings. Previously, articles on typical defects of industrial buildings have already been published: ground bases, foundations, reinforced concrete columns, metal columns, vertical connections and wall panels. Most of the defects are explained by photos. At the end of the article, an analysis of the characteristic zones of defect formation in the metal crane beams of industrial buildings is given, which allows laying the foundation for the development of an automated control system (ACS) for the life cycle of an industrial building.

Continuous improvement of the fleet of technological equipment, in the conditions of existing production, is a difficult task, the solution of which must take into account many parameters, such as mechanization, automation and application of new technologies within the concept of Industry 4.0. One of the effective methods of improving the technical and economic indicators and reliability of production is the modernization of existing technological equipment, which is based on the need to use modern methods of development and implementation of information technology, such as Industrial Internet of Things, cyber-physical production systems. The subject of this study is the testing of methods for developing additive cyber design for automation of complex industrial equipment. The goal of this article is to develop a cyber-physical production control system for the modernization of the DA2238B hydraulic press. To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve the following tasks: to analyze the technical characteristics and control system of the hydraulic press DA2238B; to carry out research of the scheme of hydraulic basic and, taking it into account, to choose sensors and executive mechanisms, and also operating modes; to develop the scheme of inclusion of the hydro equipment; to develop an automated control system based on a modern single-board computer and to develop an intuitive additive cyber-design of the operator interface; to conduct experimental research. Conclusions: as a result of research, a block diagram was developed and an automated control system based on LattePanda was implemented. Selected pressure and temperature sensors for control of pressing processes, which allowed to ensure accurate compliance with the requirements of the technological process. An automated operator's workplace has been developed, in which touch control based on additive cyber-design has been implemented. The developed control system provides: collection and analysis of production data on the basis of which it is possible to improve production technology and to provide forecasting of achievement "Lean Manufacturing".
