On the contrary, we prove if there exists some real number $x \geq 2$ such that $\theta(x) > x + \frac{1}{\log \log \log x} \times \sqrt{x} \times \log^{2} x$, then the Riemann hypothesis should be false. In this way, we show that under the assumption that the Riemann hypothesis is true, then $\theta(x) < x + \frac{1}{\log \log \log x} \times \sqrt{x} \times \log^{2} x$.

The BCS Critical Temperature at High Density

We investigate the BCS critical temperature $$T_c$$ T c in the high-density limit and derive an asymptotic formula, which strongly depends on the behavior of the interaction potential V on the Fermi-surface. Our results include a rigorous confirmation for the behavior of $$T_c$$ T c at high densities proposed by Langmann et al. (Phys Rev Lett 122:157001, 2019) and identify precise conditions under which superconducting domes arise in BCS theory.

Power partitions and a generalized eta transformation property

In their famous paper on partitions, Hardy and Ramanujan also raised the question of the behaviour of the number $p_s(n)$ of partitions of a positive integer~$n$ into $s$-th powers and gave some preliminary results. We give first an asymptotic formula to all orders, and then an exact formula, describing the behaviour of the corresponding generating function $P_s(q) = \prod_{n=1}^\infty \bigl(1-q^{n^s}\bigr)^{-1}$ near any root of unity, generalizing the modular transformation behaviour of the Dedekind eta-function in the case $s=1$. This is then combined with the Hardy-Ramanujan circle method to give a rather precise formula for $p_s(n)$ of the same general type of the one that they gave for~$s=1$. There are several new features, the most striking being that the contributions coming from various roots of unity behave very erratically rather than decreasing uniformly as in their situation. Thus in their famous calculation of $p(200)$ the contributions from arcs of the circle near roots of unity of order 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 have 13, 5, 2, 1 and 1 digits, respectively, but in the corresponding calculation for $p_2(100000)$ these contributions have 60, 27, 4, 33, and 16 digits, respectively, of wildly varying sizes

On Some Approximation Properties for a Sequence of λ-Bernstein Type Operators

In 2010, Long and Zeng introduced a new generalization of the Bernstein polynomials that depends on a parameter and called -Bernstein polynomials. After that, in 2018, Lain and Zhou studied the uniform convergence for these -polynomials and obtained a Voronovaskaja-type asymptotic formula in ordinary approximation. This paper studies the convergence theorem and gives two Voronovaskaja-type asymptotic formulas of the sequence of -Bernstein polynomials in both ordinary and simultaneous approximations. For this purpose, we discuss the possibility of finding the recurrence relations of the -th order moment for these polynomials and evaluate the values of -Bernstein for the functions , is a non-negative integer

NODE-WEIGHTED AVERAGE FERMAT DISTANCES OF FRACTAL TREE NETWORKS

In this paper, we investigate a class of self-similar networks modeled on a self-similar fractal tree, and use the self-similar measure and the method of finite pattern to obtain the asymptotic formula of node-weighted average Fermat distances on fractal tree networks.

Campana points and powerful values of norm forms

We give an asymptotic formula for the number of weak Campana points of bounded height on a family of orbifolds associated to norm forms for Galois extensions of number fields. From this formula we derive an asymptotic for the number of elements with m-full norm over a given Galois extension of $$\mathbb {Q}$$ Q . We also provide an asymptotic for Campana points on these orbifolds which illustrates the vast difference between the two notions, and we compare this to the Manin-type conjecture of Pieropan, Smeets, Tanimoto and Várilly-Alvarado.

Twisted moments of GL(3) ×GL(2) L-functions

We compute an asymptotic formula for the twisted moment of [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]-functions and their derivatives. As an application, we prove that symmetric-square lifts of [Formula: see text] Maass forms are uniquely determined by the central values of the derivatives of [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]-functions.

The Values of the Periodic Zeta-Function at the Nontrivial Zeros of Riemann’s Zeta-Function

In this paper, we prove an asymptotic formula for the sum of the values of the periodic zeta-function at the nontrivial zeros of the Riemann zeta-function (up to some height) which are symmetrical on the real line and the critical line. This is an extension of the previous results due to Garunkštis, Kalpokas, and, more recently, Sowa. Whereas Sowa’s approach was assuming the yet unproved Riemann hypothesis, our result holds unconditionally.

The second moment of Sn(t) on the Riemann hypothesis

In 1925, Littlewood proved, under the Riemann Hypothesis (RH), that [Formula: see text] for [Formula: see text]. In 1946, Selberg unconditionally established the explicit asymptotic formulas for the second moments of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. This was extended by Fujii for [Formula: see text], when [Formula: see text]. Assuming the RH, we give the explicit asymptotic formula for the second moment of [Formula: see text] up to the second-order term, for [Formula: see text]. Our result conditionally refines Selberg’s and Fujii’s formulas and extends previous work by Goldston in [Formula: see text], where the case [Formula: see text] was considered.
